I am a 56-year-old retired Executive who was diagnosed 2 years ago with aphasia and a rare dementia. I was determined to fight my diseases. I researched for someone to help me exercise my progressing dying communication part of my brain, not to make it better, but to slow down my regression. I have worked with the Director’s and the amazing trainer for a year now, following the LearningRx program and the Booster Program. After the year of pushing my brain, I now have other strategies now and the future, i.e. memory.
I have had many interactions with LearningRx, and I have always felt comfortable in asking questions to help me learn about brain training. Sarah, the owner, has spent time with me sharing her wealth of knowledge about brain training and learning struggles and took the time to thoroughly explain the process and answer all of my questions to ensure we had the information we needed. Truly excellent program. Staff was excellent to work with. They kept us informed and were flexible with schedule changes when needed. My child’s progress was tremendous. Grades went up and her attitude towards school became more positive. I definitely recommend LearningRx.
His trainer was fantastic and they were very flexible with scheduling. He can do math so much faster and easier. He listens and follows directions better and is able to stay on task with fewer reminders.
My son started LearningRx when he was 16 and my biggest regret in parenting him is that I didn’t find this place sooner! It has completely improved every aspect of his life! From simple things like forgetfulness in daily life tasks, walking into a room and forgetting why you were going in there in the first place. Schoolwork is so much easier as he relearned how to read a different way and learned memory tools and rewired his brain to optimize it.
Noticeable improvement in study habit. She’s become a more diligent worker. She can focus for a longer period of time when doing schoolwork. She understands math more than she used to.

LearningRx has been the best thing we have decided to do for our kids. We have both of our kids in an individual program, 8-year-old daughter and 11-year-old son. Our son has dyslexia and ADHD. He has struggled in school even with an IEP at school and other touting outside of school. He has had so many achievements this school year. Our daughter was just a little behind grade level. She has caught up and is enjoying school for the first time.
Our daughter is much more confident in her reading and is willing to attack words. She genuinely enjoys reading now.
We could not recommend this program enough. They worked with us virtually as we were out of state. We wouldn’t have been able to do it if they didn’t have that flexibility. It requires a lot of work on the participants’ part, but we have seen our son grow leaps and bounds in his ability to read and enjoyment of it. It’s worth the investment
Ethan could not read at the beginning of his training. He had no confidence on himself. And the school did not support us as a family. The difference in his attitude is what makes me so happy and proud. He is a different kid. He not only knows he can do hard things but that he will succeed. The growth our child had during and after this program has been amazing! He improved in every aspect of his life, from school to home life.
He has a better attention span, seems more organized and is able to be more flexible and less rigid. His speech is also more fluent and he is able to complete his work faster than before training.
Definitely would recommend. My son was having a hard time focusing and would daydream a lot. His attitude and confidence started to tank after his grades weren’t matching his siblings. Not too long after we started LearningRx, his attitude started to improve, and he is happier than ever. He is confident and is doing so much better in his schoolwork. He started soccer again and this season he is participating, engaged in the game and scored his first goal this weekend.

LearningRx was our saving grace. I searched high and low for services like this and finally found them. My son was struggling so bad in school and was so far behind his peers. Although I’m an adult, I greatly benefit from my training at LearningRx! After 6 months of training 3 days a week, I’m noticing I’m starting to calculate numbers in my head, which is huge since I was diagnosed with dyscalculia in my early 20’s! Before coming to LearningRx, I was on medication for ADD and was having a difficult time concentrating and staying focused on tasks. Just a couple weeks after starting my training, I stopped taking my medication and saw improvements in my daily activities. I am able now to focus on finishing a task once its started. I can remember things much better now as well such as things I need to do or grocery lists. The most significant improvement I have seen is in my attention.
Our son had struggled with ADHD and OCD for many years through school. School continually struggled to meet his needs and adapt to someone that thinks differently. LearningRx has been absolutely life changing in the success of our son. His score improvements was a testament to that. The larger changes we saw were in day to day thinking, problem solving, attention to details, staying on track with a schedule and overall increased confidence was clear. The only thing is I wished we had found LearningRx earlier in his school career.
