The training at LearningRx for my daughter helped on her attention and memory resulting in big improvement of the understanding and reading comprehension. The directors are very friendly, knowledgeable, and adaptive with well management skills.
The big thing for us is responsiveness and taking the time to clearly respond. The director was always accessible, and as accommodating as needed. When we needed to make changes, she also took action. I think there were some unforeseen staffing challenges the director has to respond to, and I thought Vincent didn’t really lose too much of a connection when the changes were made.
My daughter’s reading and math ability improved greatly while my daughter was this is program. Trainers are knowledgeable, patient, professional and flexible.
This program has changed the course of the way this child will learn for a lifetime. This is not a band aid program. It doesn’t just cover underlying problems with your learning capabilities. This is a lifelong tool to success. My daughter (8 yo) has ADHD and auditory processing working against her, and we saw the impact that it was having on her ability to focus, memorize, read and spell. Fast forward in time, 100 hours of LearningRx completed, (signing on for 40 more because we can’t get enough) and my child is reading at her grade level, she is excited about school, she is passing tests, her focus is better, her memory is better! I will always consider this the best gift I could give my daughter.

Shannon and Sofia did a spectacular job of encouraging and training a kid who has already significantly struggled in school and was very reluctant to engage in learning to open up out of her shell. They did an amazing job! To be fair, this is not an inexpensive tutoring service, but there is the potential for great improvement for kids who may have struggled with other academic support programs.
After first grade she had continued to fall behind. School work overwhelmed her and was often brought home to be completed along with her assigned homework. It took her hours to do everything even with help and she was frustrated every evening. Then we had her tested at LearningRx. At the beginning of 5th grade. She has completed the Read program. Her dyslexia always made reading difficult for her, although she loved to be read to and had great comprehension skills when she listened to this story.
I blamed ADHD for a lot of my problems and I came to LearningRX to help my ADHD so I could enact the changes I wanted to see. Mike paired me with a great trainer. Landon and I worked excellently together and were a great fit. Landon was professional, on task, focused, and flexible.
LearningRx was a huge help for my daughter. She’s much more confident in math and less likely to give up when facing challenging problems. Homework was a nightly battle—three hours of stress, tears, and very little progress. Then we found LearningRx. We went in for the evaluation, and for the first time, we saw a new approach—one that focused on how the brain learns, not just what to learn. That summer, Rosa started the program. At first, it wasn’t easy getting her there, but the team made it fun and engaging. Pretty soon, she was the one reminding me it was time to go. She finished the program, got her picture on the wall, and something just clicked.

My son used to need help to do homework and anything for school, now he sits and reads and does everything by himself, it is amazing how he is doing at school and little by little he is gaining confidence. I love everyone at LearningRx and highly recommend it to everybody.
My child went from being nonverbal to being a little girl who is communicating AND reading! Naomi was a little girl who would cry instead of telling me what was wrong. She had been learning her alphabet but could not recognize a single letter in the alphabet. After training, Naomi now has conversations with others, and she is excelling in school. Before coming to LearningRx, I was on medication for ADD and was having a difficult time concentrating and staying focused on tasks. Just a couple weeks after starting my training, I stopped taking my medication and saw improvements in my daily activities. I am able now to focus on finishing a task once its started. I can remember things much better now as well such as things I need to do or grocery lists. The most significant improvement I have seen is in my attention.
Our son has increased his attention for a longer period of time in the classroom and is a more active participant during classroom discussions. Our son shows more willingness to read at home. We used LearningRx for my middle daughter (6yo) and over the course of the program we saw drastic changes in her behavioral, processing speed and abilities, and overall self-confidence.
