This is an awesome program, my daughter was diagnosed with dyslexia and LearningRx really helped her to improve in her reading and her self-esteem skyrocketed. LearningRx is a truly amazing program. Once we started with LearningRx after about 3 months into our sessions, she was able to just pick up her books and go without fighting/avoiding her work – especially her vocab, reading, and spelling assignments.
As a result of the LearningRx training, my daughter is now in a much better place. She approaches her schoolwork with ease and enthusiasm, no longer feeling overwhelmed or anxious. She has developed patience with herself and her school tasks within the school environment. She’s no longer so hard on herself when she faces challenges.
The big thing for us is responsiveness and taking the time to clearly respond. The director was always accessible, and as accommodating as needed. When we needed to make changes, she also took action. I think there were some unforeseen staffing challenges the director has to respond to, and I thought Vincent didn’t really lose too much of a connection when the changes were made.
LearningRx has been the best thing we have decided to do for our kids. We have both of our kids in an individual program, 8-year-old daughter and 11-year-old son. Our son has dyslexia and ADHD. He has struggled in school even with an IEP at school and other touting outside of school. He has had so many achievements this school year. Our daughter was just a little behind grade level. She has caught up and is enjoying school for the first time.
The positive changes we have seen in our daughter showed us how valuable and effective the program is! Our daughter has improved in memory and working speed, and her reading skills have improved to a level that her teachers are bringing it up to us. Her self-confidence is willingness to learn new tasks has also improved greatly.

I was thoroughly impressed with the expertise of the tutors at LearningRx, who demonstrated a deep understanding of the cognitive assessment process and provided personalized guidance to help me overcome my memory problems. LearningRx has unquestionably changed my life for the better. I discovered that you have to believe in yourself and keep pushing forward, even when it’s tough. Another outstanding aspect of LearningRx was the great sense of community. My trainers were always patient with me, even on my bad days. They constantly encouraged me to give 100% effort, and I did—because I genuinely wanted to improve the way my brain and memory works.
LearningRx has made a HUGE difference in my son’s ability to read and write, as well as his math and attention-based skills in general. He and I had already worked very hard for years using Logic of English, and made progress, but it wasn’t enough to keep him at grade level. He’s gone from a 4th-grade level to an 8th-grade level in 9 months… Additionally, he’s been doing his work with his trainer, so he’s been able to make good use of his extra time at home.
Shannon and Sofia did a spectacular job of encouraging and training a kid who has already significantly struggled in school and was very reluctant to engage in learning to open up out of her shell. They did an amazing job! To be fair, this is not an inexpensive tutoring service, but there is the potential for great improvement for kids who may have struggled with other academic support programs.
Deciding to proceed with LearningRx turned out to be an excellent choice. By the spring of first grade, Mason showed significant improvements in sitting still, focusing, and remembering tasks, confirmed both at school and home. The best part was Mason expressing his newfound ability to focus and enjoy more free time at school thanks to LearningRx.
A year ago, my daughter was in tears almost every day regarding her math assignments. Now, although she still needs to work at math, there are no tears, and she has an increased level of confidence that she CAN do it.

Everyone has worked so super great with our son and made sure he had everything he needed to work with. Our son has fine motor skills problems and before going to LearningRx you could not read his writing. After his trainer Ms. Diana worked with him on his writing skills and hand muscles; we could not believe how well his writing improved.
I’ve been in the local LearningRx program for 5 months now, and I am seeing improvements in many ways—cognitive function, memory, executive function, visualization skills, confidence, and more. I am now more willing to try new things and challenge myself in new ways. I have a greater capacity to focus for longer periods of time…Additionally, my working memory and my logic and reasoning skills have increased significantly. I decided to come to LearningRx because of my dyslexia and memory problems and how they were affecting my school work. When we brought our six year old son to Learning Rx he was in special ed for reading and math. He was spending more time in the principle’s office than in his classroom. He is now in regular class for both reading and math. He has not gone to the principle’s office this school year. When asked why he liked Learning Rx he stated that it helped his brain think like all the other kids. We highly recommend this program. The cost and the time spent is well worth the return.

The improvements in my child’s reading skills and confidence that she has gained, a result of the LearningRx training. My child has gained so much confidence in her reading skills. She is no longer scared to pronounce words or make a mistake. She jumps right into each assignment without hesitating.

I can’t put into words how absolutely grateful I am for Kathi and Doug sincerely. I sustained several injuries including a closed-head injury when a nail gun fell off of a roof and hit me directly on the head…I started with an initial 18-week program and could see the impact. So much so I extended the contract – I am currently over a year now as a client and I couldn’t have asked for a better brain trainer. I highly recommend for anyone recovering from injuries similar to mine.
My daughter is more confident and independent. She interrupts less and engages in conversation more seamlessly with people. She sits much more still in her chair, rather than fidgeting or always bringing her knees up to the table. She has improved time management skills and can follow through with several tasks at a time.

The programs at LearningRx are catered to your goals which allows for individually to improve and reach goals. I had the opportunity to work with multiple instructors during my time at LearningRx. I felt that each one brought something different and connected with differentially.
My boys are about 3 months into their training and they are both starting to notice improvements. They both notice that it is easier to read and focus/understand what they are reading. One of my boys plays sports and he has even noticed a difference while playing. He has noticed he is able to focus on multiple aspects of the game which is something he has always struggled with. I’m excited to see the differences they notice when they go back to school.
