Where Brain Science Meets Real-Life Parenting

Teri Miller, MS PSY, blends the rigor of cognitive science with the honesty, humor, and hard-earned wisdom of a mom of nine.

As a researcher, homeschool mentor, and advocate for neurodivergent learners, Teri Miller makes brain science practical, hopeful, and deeply relatable. Whether she’s unpacking why a child is struggling with reading, explaining the science of sleep, or sharing stories from her own neurodiverse family, Teri equips parents with insights they can use today—and encouragement that lasts far beyond the event.

Why Book Teri Miller:

  • Equip parents with clear, science-backed explanations of why kids struggle with learning, reading, behavior, or attention—and what they can practically do about it.
  • Bridge cutting-edge cognitive science with relatable, real-life parenting stories, making complex research accessible, meaningful, and actionable.
  • Empower homeschool families and parents of neurodivergent kids with tools that unlock progress, reduce stress, and build confidence in both parents and children.
  • Demystify neuroplasticity and cognitive skills so parents can finally understand the root causes beneath academic or behavioral challenges.
  • Encourage deeper connection, empathy, and resilience in families, blending science with warmth, transparency, and humor.
