Fantastic staff and program. Really helped my child on her ability to do schoolwork. This year she has been spending about half as much time on assignments and her memorization is largely improved.
Our son came into the program while in grade 1 with significant anxiety when it came to his class performance. This was most striking when it came to reading. There were concerns with ADHD and possibly dyslexia. He is listening better and his reading has taken huge strides forward. You can see how this has improved his confidence.

I have seen a huge difference in how Rebekah processes information given to her. She doesn’t struggle to formulate the answer. Rebekah takes her time and to think through the problem or question she has to answer. You can actually see her processing the information she has been given.
For two or three years I knew something wasn’t right. The school kept telling me that he was at grade level and that it was okay. But it wasn’t okay, because he would avoid reading. We came [to LearningRx] in September and thy confirmed he had an auditory processing problem. It feels like the pressure is off my shoulders.

I turned 68 and finished my training at RX Learning in Charlottesville a few weeks ago. Michelle, my trainer, made my experience enjoyable, beneficial and relevant. Our son was struggling in school from the time he started Kindergarten. By 3rd grade our son was so frustrated and in tears over homework that I started to seek more answers…Then I found Learning RX. When we started this program he was on a Kindergarten to first-grade level at the age of eight. After ten months of training you can see the growth and confidence that he now has when completing his work and reading. He has increased his scores by 2 to 3 grade levels. This program has been huge for our son and I would recommend it to any parent that has a child struggling in school.
Our son has made a lot of positive progress during his time at LearningRx. His reading has improved, confidence is much higher, and school has become less of a struggle. Before LearningRx he needed a lot of direction from his teacher at school and a lot of tears and feeling left behind by his peers. The staff is amazing and care so much for students and their success.
My daughter has more fluency and confidence now when she reads, but most of all, she is reading! She totes several books in her bookbag to and from school to read during down-time at school and at home. Reading is no longer seen as a chore and there is no longer the same struggle we had before starting this program.

I was a student at LearningRx 4.5 years ago in high school and now work in Atlanta full time. Proof of this has been her ability to understand and work with factors, fractions, and the coordinate system, which I thought would be an extremely difficult task to accomplish.
My child has grown tremendously in her reading skills resulting in not only better academic performance but also decreased frustration. Most of all my child enjoys reading now when it used to be a fight to even try to get through basic sight words.
