We found LearningRx when we were seeking help for our 10 year old son, Gabe. Every year at school, we were told that his reading is below grade level. This was exhibited at home with nightly struggles to complete homework, usually entailing two hours of arguing, tears and frustration to complete 15 minutes of homework. Almost immediately, Gabe was reading things at random out loud to us. When school started in the fall, he started doing his homework by himself, without the usual coaxing and arguing.
She’s not afraid of a challenge now, and is willing to focus and work through problems. She is excited about learning and reading now!

We initially tried a going to a learning/tutoring type center. But when the administer expressed doubts about my child’s ability to comprehend tasks directions and to work independently, I began searching for a program that would aid comprehension. This led to my internet search and in me finding LearningRx. It was a blessing and miracle, very early on, to see my child perform multi-step commands without additional prompts by me. Now, we have seen a true love of writing after practice with the Learning Rx trainer.
Leanne has been so accommodating and caring towards our family. Ashley is an excellent instructor and made such a strong effort to build a relationship with my daughter. With both professionals caring for my daughter, she has made tremendous growth.

Our daughter started high school with little to no academic confidence. Day 1 she felt defeated, lost and unhappy. My husband and I made the right decision when we signed her up for LearningRx! We quickly figured out what was lacking in her learning environment; and we transferred her to a new school. She diligently worked 3 sessions a week with her LearningRx coach all while making time to catch up on new curriculum. To our amazement, her auditory processing accelerated; she picked up a new book to read on her own and often shared with us about her day!
My daughter has struggled with school since kindergarten. She ended up having ADHD and Dyslexia. I was and still am in awe, in 9 months my daughter has grown tremendously. She is now a graduate of this training program and can confidently say the skills she gained has helped and will help her for the rest of her life.
We saw significant improvement in our daughter’s reading ability and fluency and know that it was from the work she did during her sessions at LearningRx. Our daughter started LearningRx being unable to read. She could sound out CVC words but was unable to blend the sounds together to say the word. She is now able to sound out many words, blend them together, and even read words without having to sound them out. She is able to read short stories. She used to dislike going to school as she would get frustrated with being unable to do the work. She now enjoys school and has a great attitude about going.

My daughter had a very positive experience at LearningRx. She loved working one on one with her trainers and enjoyed each session. She has made great strides in reading, math, writing and in her overall confidence as a student.
Everyone was very invested in Anniston’s success. Anniston has researched topics and questions by herself on google a few times in the last couple weeks and that is something she would not have done previously. She spells and reads much better now. She is continuing to grow in her skills.
Hearing the news that your daughter has dyslexia is quite frightening. As a parent all you see is your bright, beautiful, and perfect little girl. Your first thought is fear, but then you want to help. Reaching out to LearningRx was the best academic decision we could have ever made for her. They have the sweetest staff, and we were blessed with the best trainer. She has truly transformed my daughter to a reader. Her confidence level when reading has tripled. Through all of the whining and complaining, they pushed through.
Last year, Kayla had a tough time concentrating, being organized, and completing tasks set for her. She was struggling in school and had low self-esteem. We knew she needed more help than we could give her. We received the flyer for LearningRx in the mail, attended the seminar, and have never looked back. As someone who’s had my fair share of bike crashes and TBIs, I can’t emphasize enough how important brain training is. I’ve had the pleasure of hearing Kathi speak to several groups I’m involved with, and she truly knows her stuff when it comes to the brain. If you’re looking to improve memory, focus, or recover from a TBI, you won’t find a more knowledgeable or supportive team out there.
LearningRx Eden Prairie outperformed our expectations! I was honestly a bit skeptical about it at first but going in talking to Baird understanding how they approached things all made sense. Our teenage son completed the program and the transformation of his confidence, wittiness, memory, grades (when he applied himself) and overall ability to recognize situations was life changing.
I can’t possibly say enough about LearningRx Columbus. They have been absolutely amazing with my son. He struggles with memory and overall processing information. He isn’t done with the program and I am already seeing such a huge difference. What’s also amazing is that he likes it. He does the program over zoom twice a week.
My son is doing so much better in school, he can focus on what needs to be done. Homework and projects would take HOURS for him to finish. Not anymore. He’s able to use time at school more effectively, which helps reduce the amount of homework he has. His focus, verbal comprehension, and auditory processing have improved so much and that was my main expectation of LearningRx.
Kenlee was really struggling as a student going into the 2nd grade. She had only been homeschooled. No matter what skills I tried, she was only reading on a kindergarten level and now within 6 months she is on grade level. Her confidence has grown, she is more focused during task, and her behavior is better.
My child has grown tremendously in her reading skills resulting in not only better academic performance but also decreased frustration. Most of all my child enjoys reading now when it used to be a fight to even try to get through basic sight words.
LearningRx was our saving grace. I searched high and low for services like this and finally found them. My son was struggling so bad in school and was so far behind his peers. Now I can finally read and sound out words! I can now read because of Mrs. Donesa and the LearningRx program! Before LearningRx, I thought I was just dumb! Some kids made fun of me because I could not read our sound out words. I did not like myself very much. Now I do! I can now participate in classes at school and church and not be embarrassed or afraid to read out loud or give answers like the other students. I am finally making decent grades! Now my mom cries when I read to her because I can read!

This program has been incredible for both our daughters. Both have completed the program, and both have excelled in school and college entrance exams as a result of the efficacy of the program and the incredible skill of our trainer Tara as part of the program. LearningRx has made such a difference in the lives of my children. My oldest daughter wanted to give high school a try (she is homeschooled). She was a bit nervous because she thought that she might not be able to keep pace with the other students due to her dyslexia. LearningRx gave her the confidence to try. My son struggled hard with reading. The approach to learning has helped him flourish. His reading comprehension is by and far improved, and he is reading whole pages without stumbling. Highly recommend for all ages and learning styles, for ADD/ADHD and other learning disabilities. It’s one thing for us to be proud of his progress, but it’s something wholly different for him to be proud and confident.
In just a few months, noticeable improvements emerged—enhanced focus and attention, making it easier for him to grasp new concepts. Having successfully completed the program, his confidence has soared, and he now navigates school effortlessly. Math tests no longer evoke apprehension, and he has evolved into a more independent and efficient learner.
A year ago, my daughter was in tears almost every day regarding her math assignments. Now, although she still needs to work at math, there are no tears, and she has an increased level of confidence that she CAN do it.
This has been a great experience. I’ve seen improvements within 2-3 weeks in starting and has excelled. I’m glad there’s a center like this to take the time to teach at such a level that kids need!
