As homeschoolers, we were stuck in several areas of her studies and couldn’t figure out what was missing. I am so glad that we found LearningRx as it has been a great experience for all of us. It really opened our eyes to the power of the mind and how it can adapt to anything. If one works on the deficiencies that they have, those deficiencies will soon become issues of the past and may even become strengths as they work their way through the LearningRx curriculum.
For two or three years I knew something wasn’t right. The school kept telling me that he was at grade level and that it was okay. But it wasn’t okay, because he would avoid reading. We came [to LearningRx] in September and thy confirmed he had an auditory processing problem. It feels like the pressure is off my shoulders.
My daughter made an incredible amount of growth in her skills while at LearningRx, but even more than that, her confidence is soaring. When we used to go to the library, Piper would come home empty handed. Yesterday she brought home a book with over 300 pages–her confidence is that high. I’m grateful for the gentle encouragement and tough, supportive love from her trainer, Mary, through the last half year.
I decided to come to LearningRx because of my dyslexia and memory problems and how they were affecting my school work. As I worked through the LearningRx program I noticed significant gains in my memory and how fast I work through things. I noticed that I can read a lot faster and that I remember to turn in my homework or information for tests. LearningRx helped me improve my school work and I feel a lot more confident with everything I do. LearningRx has made all the difference in the world.
I’m definitely seeing improvements in my child’s overall confidence with school. Reading has improved tremendously as well as spelling and handwriting. Organizational skills are also much improved. Our trainer was absolutely amazing! 6th grade is off to a good start!!
Bonnie literally went from barely reading, total meltdown when she was asked to read to now reading above grade level and picking up books for fun even. Training has also improved her attention and focus more than we thought possible. We have even been able to taper off her ADHD meds. Total transformation!
I suffered a traumatic brain injury and due to this I was struggling in school, at home, with daily tasks, and socially. After completing the program, I’m remembering information in school and passing with flying colors. I used to feel very foggy, confused and irritated throughout the day because it was so hard to focus or remember anything. I feel like this program gave me my life back after the TBI and I’m forever grateful.

My son entered LearningRX as a very challenged reader. He had many of the skills he needed to read, but had a hard time putting those skills together. Our daughter always walked out after her session with a big smile, feeling more confident. Her short and long-term memory have improved, noticeable in her daily school and home routines. Her number sense has improved dramatically. Proof of this has been her ability to understand and work with factors, fractions, and the coordinate system, which I thought would be an extremely difficult task to accomplish.

From the moment I contacted Maureen to the last day, communication was clear, prompt, and professional. Our concerns about Omar were addressed, and a clear plan of action was given to us. A huge bonus was that Omar actually looked forward to going to see his teacher Tully and later Katie. When you see the changes in your child from the beginning to the end, it is very rewarding. Our son was very reluctant at the beginning of training but started to show joy in sharing the activities he was working on. We have seen our son be able to sit for longer periods of time when completing tasks. His attention span has lengthened which has improved his work at school.

His trainer was fantastic and they were very flexible with scheduling. He can do math so much faster and easier. He listens and follows directions better and is able to stay on task with fewer reminders.

My son has been attending LearningRx for just a month, and he loves it! He really enjoys the challenging games and looks forward to each session. His coach is very nice and has made a great connection with him. I can already see little improvements in his focus and engagement. My son usually resists new activities, but he’s been surprisingly enthusiastic about LearningRx.

We came in looking for additional help, especially in reading, for our son who is so bright but was struggling with his schoolwork. The assessment affirmed what we thought as far as some cognitive skills which needed strengthening. I homeschool so I’ve been able to give him tons of one-on-one tutoring, but the improvement has been so slow.
