My daughter was diagnosed with ADD…Fortunately, I did not wait too long after this diagnosis to bring her to Rx. Her struggles consisted of: difficulty reading, spelling, processing information as well as the inability to retain it (short term and long term memory.) What used to be 20 min. Intervals of school work at a time has become day-long endurance…Not only is her reading off the charts, but her comprehension was a benefit that I didn’t expect. We have noticed that homework is being done faster and even being started on his own. He has less negative talk and less time lost through behavioral issues at school as a result of not understanding the material. Everyone was very invested in Anniston’s success. Anniston has researched topics and questions by herself on google a few times in the last couple weeks and that is something she would not have done previously. She spells and reads much better now. She is continuing to grow in her skills.

[My son] has taken on the role of student as his personal responsibility and shown success as an A/B/C student. Prior to LearningRx, passing grades were a struggle in some subject areas. To quote my son upon recently finishing an 8-month journey with Learning RX, so reluctant to participate at the outset…“I have improved at everything we have been working on, day in and day out: reading, numbers, focus, remembering…everything. I feel like the program was totally worth it.” I can’t say enough about the program and would recommend it to anyone whose child is struggling with ADHD.
After completing a 20-week program, we’ve seen great improvements in her abilities at school. She is better able to stay focused and deal with distractions, something that had previously been a challenge. Her confidence has soared and this boost in self-assurance has been evident in all areas of her academic and social life. Math, which once felt like a constant struggle, has become much easier for her. She now handles math facts with greater ease and working through her math homework no longer causes the same frustration.

My son is doing so much better in school, he can focus on what needs to be done. Homework and projects would take HOURS for him to finish. Not anymore. He’s able to use time at school more effectively, which helps reduce the amount of homework he has. His focus, verbal comprehension, and auditory processing have improved so much and that was my main expectation of LearningRx.
Working in Education for 18 years, I knew my 9 year old daughter needed something more than a reading tutor. Learning Rx provided an opportunity for her to retrain her brain versus getting academic support. This intensive cognitive reset is worth every minute and is simply invaluable. As homeschoolers, we were stuck in several areas of her studies and couldn’t figure out what was missing. After putting her through the program, not only did her problem-solving skills improve, but there was also peace in teaching her again because things were connecting that never had before! Now a freshman in college, our daughter is thriving and experiencing academic achievements she never would have had we not understood and addressed her obstacles with the help of LearningRx.
My 15-year old was struggling with getting school work done and for the first time lacked confidence that he could do it. Middle school had been effortless but remote high school was proving to be a problem. Specifically he was having problems reading and retaining the story and meaning of the Odyssey. The journey through LearningRX not only worked on his learning skills but also on the mindset that my son can push through the hard work and do things he did not think he could. The confidence he got from the program is priceless.
Noah appears to have more patience at home. Prior to classes at LearningRx I felt there were constant “battles” to get homework done, chores at home, and day-to-day requests. If Noah becomes overwhelmed, he is able to communicate that to me in a more positive way.

Our son made amazing gains over the course of his time at LearningRx. In comparison to medication and other things we have tried, we have seen the most significant change from the LearningRx program. His memory has improved. He used to not be able to remember anything that occurred in his classes at school and now he can remember most of the key points and has even begun taking a few notes.
Although I’m an adult, I greatly benefit from my training at LearningRx! After 6 months of training 3 days a week, I’m noticing I’m starting to calculate numbers in my head, which is huge since I was diagnosed with dyscalculia in my early 20’s! I’m even finding myself visualizing my next turn when driving, something I could never do before my training! LearningRx is helpful for all ages! I only wish I found them sooner!
My daughter has struggled with school since kindergarten. She ended up having ADHD and Dyslexia. I was and still am in awe, in 9 months my daughter has grown tremendously. Personalized approach to meet individual child’s needs. Great results with program. Director, Molly, was a big advocate for us when dealing with the school system and getting him resources he needed. More confident, less resistant to homework, willingness to try new things. Overall better attitude towards learning.
Our son had struggled with ADHD and OCD for many years through school. School continually struggled to meet his needs and adapt to someone that thinks differently. LearningRx has been absolutely life changing in the success of our son. His score improvements was a testament to that. The larger changes we saw were in day to day thinking, problem solving, attention to details, staying on track with a schedule and overall increased confidence was clear. My daughter is a senior in high school and has struggled in school all her life. She has had tutors on and off for over 10 years. Her biggest struggles were with her processing both visual and auditory, memorizing math facts and problem solving to name a few. They were very understanding and flexible with her training sessions because she is a very busy student. They met three days a week online for about six months and now after those six months, she has improved in every area and is doing better in school and has much more confidence in herself. She now has a good foundation to be successful in life.
Our son is 8 years old and has struggled since 3 years old to focus. Starting to learn to read and figuring out letters has been very difficult…Mel is motivating to him and continues to push him to his potential. In the first month the change we saw in our son’s focus was jaw dropping!..Within 3 months of beginning the program our son has started to read full homework page assignments and complete them on his own! Mel and this program has completely changed our lives to which we will be eternally grateful.
My daughter has been brain training with Courtney for couple of months now. Our daughter says she has better organizational skills. She has been using the visualization she has learned when driving to areas she isn’t familiar with. Being able to pay attention easier to everything going on around her while driving as well as on the soccer field has improved. She also is able to hold information in her head longer when looking up answers to homework questions. This training will follow her for the rest of her life. I am excited to see how much more she will improve by the completion of this program.
I can’t put into words how absolutely grateful I am for Kathi and Doug sincerely. I sustained several injuries including a closed-head injury when a nail gun fell off of a roof and hit me directly on the head…I started with an initial 18-week program and could see the impact. So much so I extended the contract – I am currently over a year now as a client and I couldn’t have asked for a better brain trainer. I highly recommend for anyone recovering from injuries similar to mine.
I have seen improvements in the way I handle situations that arise. I have become more focused on life and making better choices. Making smarter choices, slowing down and analyzing situations instead of reacting, and my memory processing has improved in every aspect.

Our plan was individually tailored to our daughter’s needs, with essential measure of success and effectiveness built into it. Everyone involved, from the director to the trainer, support staff, etc. were very helpful. Lastly, high levels of communication were maintained and encouraged throughout the process.
My child enjoyed the sessions with Emily very much. There were times when he was very tired after school, but he insisted on attending the training.
