LearningRx in Raleigh, NC has been the best decision we have made for our daughter. Her reading and cognitive skills exceeded what the program provided, and she was able to increase her reading fluency from an age equivalency of 6.8 to age 9.6 in less than a year. My daughter was really struggling to read. Letter recognition and phonetics were so hard for her to remember. She was also struggling to stay focused for an extended period of time as well. After attending LearningRx for the past few months, we have seen drastic changes. Not only does she now know her letters and sounds. She’s READING! This program has helped her confidence in school. She is able to do seat work with little to no guidance from her teacher.
After first grade she had continued to fall behind. School work overwhelmed her and was often brought home to be completed along with her assigned homework. It took her hours to do everything even with help and she was frustrated every evening. Then we had her tested at LearningRx. At the beginning of 5th grade. She has completed the Read program. Her dyslexia always made reading difficult for her, although she loved to be read to and had great comprehension skills when she listened to this story.
Kenlee was really struggling as a student going into the 2nd grade. She had only been homeschooled. No matter what skills I tried, she was only reading on a kindergarten level and now within 6 months she is on grade level. Her confidence has grown, she is more focused during task, and her behavior is better.
My child went from being nonverbal to being a little girl who is communicating AND reading! Naomi was a little girl who would cry instead of telling me what was wrong. She had been learning her alphabet but could not recognize a single letter in the alphabet. After training, Naomi now has conversations with others, and she is excelling in school. We love LearningRx!

My daughter is more confident and independent. She interrupts less and engages in conversation more seamlessly with people. She sits much more still in her chair, rather than fidgeting or always bringing her knees up to the table. She has improved time management skills and can follow through with several tasks at a time.
The program trainers worked hard to challenge Deacon in such a way to have optimal growth in reading and comprehension. The center and brain training activities were engaging and kept Deacon in a place of wanting to continue with things that are very hard for him. He was cared for and he could tell he was liked and being championed each time he had a session. Deacon now has more confidence in reading.
My son used to not be able to multitask. Now he can listen to music while working and listen to our conversation in the next room all at the same time. My son used to not be able to remember a two-step direction. Now he can be doing a task and be interrupted and come back to that task, not only remembering exactly what he was doing but also his mood is stable and not frustrated.

My daughter has more fluency and confidence now when she reads, but most of all, she is reading! She totes several books in her bookbag to and from school to read during down-time at school and at home. Reading is no longer seen as a chore and there is no longer the same struggle we had before starting this program.

Hazel started out unwilling to even try when it came to learning. It was amazing how this brain training positively affected every aspect of my 8-year old’s life, from comprehending what he read to learning and speaking to building confidence in himself and working through the meltdowns rather than shutting down. Homework time, discipline time, and times of losing are also a lot easier with new understanding. All of which will make his life lessons, now and in the future, easier to adapt to and learn from!

I can’t possibly say enough about LearningRx Columbus. They have been absolutely amazing with my son. He struggles with memory and overall processing information. He isn’t done with the program and I am already seeing such a huge difference. What’s also amazing is that he likes it. He does the program over zoom twice a week.

I suffered a traumatic brain injury and due to this I was struggling in school, at home, with daily tasks, and socially. After completing the program, I’m remembering information in school and passing with flying colors. The training at LearningRx for my daughter helped on her attention and memory resulting in big improvement of the understanding and reading comprehension. The directors are very friendly, knowledgeable, and adaptive with well management skills.
This program made a huge difference in my son’s cognitive skills! In pre-assessment, he scored well below average in 7 out of 9 skills. By the end of the program, he scored average to well above average in 7 of the 10 skills, while still showing huge growth in the two lower scoring skills. Micah’s ability to learn without ‘freezing’ is the biggest improvement. Micah’s abilities to spell, write, read, follow instruction have all drastically improved. Micah’s confidence has improved. His excitement of learning has skyrocketed.
Jennifer was excellent, providing clear guidance to me on how things would work. She was always available to answer any questions. Overall, the finance process was very smooth. I will highly recommend it to all kids; it will be very beneficial for their brain growth.
The changes my husband and I have seen in our daughter are so life changing for her. She is ready for kindergarten and ready for the rest of her life. Our daughter has much better impulse control and ability to adapt to a new challenging situation. When she is presented with a new task or learning skill that she finds challenging she does not shut down, during the time of the training she has transformed to be able to accept the challenge and process how she will conquer the challenge.
Shannon and Sofia did a spectacular job of encouraging and training a kid who has already significantly struggled in school and was very reluctant to engage in learning to open up out of her shell. They did an amazing job! To be fair, this is not an inexpensive tutoring service, but there is the potential for great improvement for kids who may have struggled with other academic support programs.
LearningRx has changed the trajectory of our son’s educational future and ability to learn. We have been blown away by the success of this program. Our son no longer dreads going to school and is now able to complete his work. He has confidence to do hard things that he didn’t have before.
My son was struggling with his grades and overall understanding of what he was learning at school. We tried a few tutoring programs, but we knew immediately that just a rote learning wouldn’t make long lasting changes and it’s something we can do at home too. After the first assessment at LearningRx, we knew that was what we were looking for. Shortly after we started the program, we saw a big jump in his attitude towards learning. He was motivated, willing to try over and over again and much more acceptant of what he was lacking.
The staff is amazing and Nicks progress is proof of how amazing this program is! I’m so proud of him and how much he improved and his confidence. Molly is amazing, and so informative. She always made nick feel comfortable and welcome in this program. She kept me updated all year and I couldn’t ask for better service.
LearningRx has done SO much to help my child. They worked with him on his level and made accommodations when needed to help him be successful in their program. If it wasn’t for them, he would have fallen behind more in school than he already was. All the staff is very welcoming and made my child and myself feel welcome. We plan on continuing with them for additional programs to help our child become more successful with his education!
My son is a 9th grader and has had a great experience at LearningRx. He enjoys the “brain games” that are a part of the learning process. Julie and Josh have been great to work with! We are excited to see the progress that he makes once he finishes the program.

LearningRx’s program is absolutely amazing and has made such a HUGE impact on our daughters’ life. When our daughter started this program, at 6 years old, she could barely recognize/recall the alphabet or count past 10 and now, at 7 years old, she is able to read 4 letter words and do difficult addition math problems.
