I can’t put into words how absolutely grateful I am for Kathi and Doug sincerely. I sustained several injuries including a closed-head injury when a nail gun fell off of a roof and hit me directly on the head…I started with an initial 18-week program and could see the impact. As homeschoolers, we were stuck in several areas of her studies and couldn’t figure out what was missing. I really appreciated how LearningRx was one-on-one interactive, tailored to our needs, and progressed based on my child’s performance. I appreciated how LearningRx used both evidence-based approaches along with a custom approach tailored specifically to our needs. We have seen improvement in our son’s understanding of school materials, quality of memory and communication at home, and overall attitude toward working and trying to improve and achieve.
He has struggled with reading and writing since preschool and only continued to fall further behind even with an IEP/school support plan. Coming to LearningRx has been the best decision we have ever made for our son. He absolutely loves coming, the staff is extremely friendly and, also encouraging. Now I can finally read and sound out words! I can now read because of Mrs. Donesa and the LearningRx program! Before LearningRx, I thought I was just dumb! Some kids made fun of me because I could not read our sound out words. I did not like myself very much. Now I do! I can now participate in classes at school and church and not be embarrassed or afraid to read out loud or give answers like the other students. I am finally making decent grades! Now my mom cries when I read to her because I can read!
Audrina has grown so much over the 6 months she had training! We are so grateful for everyone at LearningRx Fort Collins for helping our daughter achieve her goals for school. She is able to comprehend her new material, have a shining confidence, motivation to keep learning, better attitude. She is able to perform at a higher reading level then when she started.
Noah appears to have more patience at home. Prior to classes at LearningRx I felt there were constant “battles” to get homework done, chores at home, and day-to-day requests. If Noah becomes overwhelmed, he is able to communicate that to me in a more positive way.

He does seem to get his work done quicker and more independently – depending on the subject. He is also writing more notes in class. He is not complaining anymore about reading although he still struggles with answering questions about what he read. His frustration level has improved some as well as persevering.

I highly recommend Learning Rx. My daughter has just completed the program and has made significant gains across the board. As a result of this, my daughter is completing her work in class and is retaining the information that she has read. The entire staff has been welcoming and encouraging to her. My son used to not be able to multitask. Now he can listen to music while working and listen to our conversation in the next room all at the same time. My son used to not be able to remember a two-step direction. Now he can be doing a task and be interrupted and come back to that task, not only remembering exactly what he was doing but also his mood is stable and not frustrated.
Math greatly improved. All your programs are really comprehensive. Your results and improvements are measurable. Super friendly and warm atmosphere, not coldly academic–it was a place our child wants to come to.

The transition from High School to College was rough (with COVID complications). My daughter’s confidence was shot and her focus was distracted as best given the unusual stressful events. Learning Rx was a God send. With my daughter’s commitment and the guidance of a highly inspirational instructor, my daughter improved her memory and ability to tune out distractions. She learned how to establish a plan for study patterns and follow through on that plan. Her confidence level is remarkably better and is supported by her improved performance at college.
After completing a 20-week program, we’ve seen great improvements in her abilities at school. She is better able to stay focused and deal with distractions, something that had previously been a challenge. Her confidence has soared and this boost in self-assurance has been evident in all areas of her academic and social life. Math, which once felt like a constant struggle, has become much easier for her. She now handles math facts with greater ease and working through her math homework no longer causes the same frustration.

As a result of the LearningRx training, my daughter is now in a much better place. She approaches her schoolwork with ease and enthusiasm, no longer feeling overwhelmed or anxious. Our daughter was really struggling and we were concerned that she may not move to the next grade in school. I have done Learning RX brain training programs for two of my children. First, my son, who we still continue to see the benefits from. Even though his program was completed more than 3 years ago! Second, my daughter did the lift off program when she was 6 years old. Since I still had my sons’ program materials, we decided I would train my daughter at home. My daughter is making huge improvements! I am once again convinced that I made the right decision investing in this program for my kids.
