I am a medical doctor and like to refer to LearningRx to get to the root causes of learning struggles. We have seen a lot of improvement in reading! My children trained at Learning Rx and the benefits prompted me to train too. I can remember more things more easily, can instruct/train others more effectively, and multitask better. Now I can finally read and sound out words! I can now read because of Mrs. Donesa and the LearningRx program! Before LearningRx, I thought I was just dumb! Some kids made fun of me because I could not read our sound out words. I did not like myself very much. Now I do! I can now participate in classes at school and church and not be embarrassed or afraid to read out loud or give answers like the other students. I am finally making decent grades! Now my mom cries when I read to her because I can read!

I think learningRX is a great investment in yourself. I’m in my late 20’s and I want to be more confident in my reading and writing as I enter into a corporate career. My trainer was very encouraging and continued to work with me on my goals to improve everyday. The staff at this center is great and you will be well taken care of. Marlyn was great with all the scheduling of extra meetings or general questions I had whenever I called.

Our daughter started the ReadRx program in November, mid-pandemic. At the halfway point she was reading at grade level, and reading magazines and chapter books – for fun! Her reading continued to improve…and by the time she finished, we saw huge improvements in her processing speed and ability to recall information. The program is hard work, but worth every bit of effort!

I am so thankful for the experience that my son had at LearningRx. I was searching for something to improve my 9-year-old’s focus, attention, memory, reading comprehension skills and LearningRx is the solution. After a rigorous 1:1 mental training program for ten months straight of 2x a week, we have witnessed our son’s significant improvement not only in school and classroom behaviors but also in daily life that he becomes more organized.
We can see improvement in his social skills and improvement in school performance. Created a caring atmosphere for our son.
LearningRx took my child’s needs seriously. They listened to what our concerns were, helped figure out a plan, and checked in throughout the process to make sure everything was in check. Jacob began a journey of improving the areas that were holding him back from improving all areas of learning. He was working 10 times harder than all the other kids in school but not seeing much return. Now, I see him working hard, able to stay focused, and see the right response from the work he puts in… which has increased his ability to want to learn.
Fantastic staff and program. Really helped my child on her ability to do schoolwork. This year she has been spending about half as much time on assignments and her memorization is largely improved.
The changes my husband and I have seen in our daughter are so life changing for her. She is ready for kindergarten and ready for the rest of her life. Our daughter has much better impulse control and ability to adapt to a new challenging situation. When she is presented with a new task or learning skill that she finds challenging she does not shut down, during the time of the training she has transformed to be able to accept the challenge and process how she will conquer the challenge.

My daughter was paired with the perfect coach for her personality, and she grew tremendously where her skills lacked. Amelia’s grades went from C’s, D’s and F’s to A’s and B’s! She’s more confident and doesn’t shy away from reading. Plus, she loves school again.

When you see the changes in your child from the beginning to the end, it is very rewarding. Our son was very reluctant at the beginning of training but started to show joy in sharing the activities he was working on. Working with Dr. Jackson and the staff at LearningRx has helped me understand where my 13-year-old son has struggles. His pretest showed that his auditory processing was around 6 years of age. The post test showed a significant 10-year gain which has resulted in less frustration when given tasks to complete. His visual, logic-reasoning and processing speed increased. My son started LearningRx when he was 16 and my biggest regret in parenting him is that I didn’t find this place sooner! It has completely improved every aspect of his life! From simple things like forgetfulness in daily life tasks, walking into a room and forgetting why you were going in there in the first place. Our daughter started high school with little to no academic confidence. Day 1 she felt defeated, lost and unhappy. My husband and I made the right decision when we signed her up for LearningRx! We quickly figured out what was lacking in her learning environment; and we transferred her to a new school.
