Our experience with Jacci and her team at LearningRx was fantastic! Our son came into the program while in grade 1 with significant anxiety when it came to his class performance. This was most striking when it came to reading. There were concerns with ADHD and possibly dyslexia. He is listening better and his reading has taken huge strides forward. You can see how this has improved his confidence.

When Katrina first came to LearningRx, we had a frustrated, almost angry daughter who was having a difficult time at school and receiving poor grades. To our delight, Katrina has made a transformation back into her true self in many ways. She’s happy again, speaking positively about her work, her performance, school, and herself in general. My son entered LearningRX as a very challenged reader. He had many of the skills he needed to read, but had a hard time putting those skills together. After working with a trainer at LearningRX for 20-weeks, his skills improved dramatically. His trainer, Will Atkinson, made the hard work of brain training fun for my 10-year old son. LearningRX accomplished what we had hoped it would and it was one of the best academic things we have ever done for our children.
From day 1 to the last day training, Trenton’s ability to comprehend and retain any material that’s presented to him has greatly improved and has translated into better grades on his report card. LearningRx has be amazing! We started this because I wanted my son to feel more confident about himself and his schoolwork especially math and not only is he doing better at math and all subjects he is more confident than he has ever been. To see him come home and say “Mom I love math now, it’s easier and I can do it. I am so proud of myself” It just blows me away. It actually brings tears to my eyes, because as a mom you want the best for your child and Lori and Mrs. Regina and the whole LearningRx has been a blessing to my son and our entire family!! EVERYONE SHOULD TRY THEM OUT!!
Our son’s short-term memory has improved. He has a longer attention span and is more resilient.
My child is happy to sit and read a book and can work through the words much more fluently than he did before LearningRx. He is finally at or a little above grade level. He is willing to try new things and tends to be less frustrated when he gets stuck (improved resiliency) and is willing to work it out to solve the problem.
Molly did a great job as well. She helped explain the results, being thorough and clear with the plan. She was very good with Embry making sure to challenge her and encourage her.
Leah’s trainer was amazing. She was very patient with Leah. Even when Leah would get distracted or discouraged Ana would be able to talk to Leah and encourage her. Leah has come a long way and it all thanks to everyone at Learning RX. Leah’s confidence in herself and in what she has learned has increased significantly! She is now eager to learn new things and read. She has come so far and I am excited to see all she can achieve now.

My son started Learning RX when he was 18. I have been few places more encouraging, welcoming, or accepting than our local LearningRX. Far more important than growth in his cognitive abilities — and there was a lot of growth! — we valued the constant emphasis of success being tied to cheerful effort. That made it possible for our son to move beyond his emotions and debilitating perfectionism and allowed him to Keep Trying until he had mastered a difficult task. He also learned that he’s valued for WHO he is, not WHAT he can do.
The service is amazing and she loved it here. She is now a more confident reader and loves to read and isn’t scared of the hard or challenging words.
The big thing for us is responsiveness and taking the time to clearly respond. The director was always accessible, and as accommodating as needed. When we needed to make changes, she also took action. I think there were some unforeseen staffing challenges the director has to respond to, and I thought Vincent didn’t really lose too much of a connection when the changes were made.
LearningRx has made such a difference in the lives of my children. My oldest daughter wanted to give high school a try (she is homeschooled). She was a bit nervous because she thought that she might not be able to keep pace with the other students due to her dyslexia. LearningRx gave her the confidence to try. Her first semester in high school she was on the honor roll. LearningRx, their tools and strategies WORK!

The Learning RX program has been so great for our son. Not only did it build his confidence but it increased his neuro cognitive ability to process things more efficiently. My son has increased his passion for reading and we have seen so much overall improvement.
The biggest change we saw in him was his ability to listen, focus and pay attention. He is now able to keep himself on task and focused on what he is doing while also listening to those around him. He has been able to listen and not need for it to be repeated, while also retaining what he heard to apply or question it later.
