The programs at LearningRx are catered to your goals which allows for individually to improve and reach goals. I had the opportunity to work with multiple instructors during my time at LearningRx. I felt that each one brought something different and connected with differentially.
LearningRx has been a benefit to our son in many ways. It’s helped him learn to read and to be able to learn better all around. His teacher Allie was very committed and put a lot of effort into teaching him. She was firm but did her best to make it fun for him.
Since starting the program, we have noticed that my son seems more confident in certain areas – in school his self-esteem, his ability to do tasks, and his attention at times seems to be more sustained, and his grades improved.
Our daughter always walked out after her session with a big smile, feeling more confident. Her short and long-term memory have improved, noticeable in her daily school and home routines. Her number sense has improved dramatically. Proof of this has been her ability to understand and work with factors, fractions, and the coordinate system, which I thought would be an extremely difficult task to accomplish.
My 24 year old daughter has Down Syndrome…Before Learning RX my daughter had tried many ways to learn to read, and she would always get stuck on blending words. Learning RX’s expertise on the brain and learning has proved that my daughter can read. She can blend words now and she’s believing in herself and gaining skills to help her into a more independent life. We are making huge strides just within 3 months!!

As someone who’s had my fair share of bike crashes and TBIs, I can’t emphasize enough how important brain training is. I’ve had the pleasure of hearing Kathi speak to several groups I’m involved with, and she truly knows her stuff when it comes to the brain. If you’re looking to improve memory, focus, or recover from a TBI, you won’t find a more knowledgeable or supportive team out there.
Our adopted daughter struggled in every socially setting and with impulse control. She made so much progress in this program are watching her thrive every day. We were educated and well informed after our daughter’s testing. We were communicated with well about scheduling, sessions and progress. At completion we were not surprised at the awesome progress our daughter had made, because we saw her growth as it happened.
Our son struggled in school and started to disconnect because it became frustrating. After working with LearningRx everything changed, he talked about school in a positive way, grades came around. Now since 9th grade he has been on the honor roll every semester and is better organized. We had our 11th grade son go to LearningRx because he was struggling with reading comprehension and listening comprehension. We were a bit worried that it would be too elementary as the other programs we looked into were. We were pleasantly surprised by the result and highly recommend it to anyone! Our son was able to make gains in all areas as well as gain much needed confidence to tackle any future challenge that comes his way!

The performance of the directors was incredibly supportive and very family oriented. Working with both of them to support our child was a privilege and honour. LearningRx has been incredible for our son. He was struggling in math, memorizing information for tests, and struggling to pay attention in class. He was getting distracted really easily by other students and noises in the classroom and it hindered his ability to stay on task. My son’s confidence has skyrocketed, but more importantly than that it has elevated his level of grit.
Will is now interested in reading on his own — he’s diving into books. It’s great to see him grow in this area, where he was not willing to do before. Will has grown in confidence and his self-esteem and is better able to deal with challenges when he’s faced with time.
Learning RX has had a wonderful effect on my son Roman. After several weeks of fast paced and fun online activity with a tutor, Roman had his first week of school. Roman, who last year had difficulty sitting at the computer and getting anything done in his post-covid, post-physical school sessions, was attentive, composed, and capable, in a way I have not seen before for this type of activity. His willingness to dive into things he doesn’t know or understand has went from zero to 100! Without the confidence to do this, learning and development were nearly impossible. He has significantly increased his endurance for learning as well. We can’t wait to see how he continues to grow!
