I highly recommend the Atlanta Buckhead location of LearningRX! My child went through the cognitive training LearningRX program this year. LearningRX gives a pre- and post-test in a number of different areas and, relative to the pre-test, my child’s post-test showed tremendous, quantified improvement in almost every category that was part of the program! My child’s tutor, Christen, was amazing – smart, assertive with giving the right amount of push, adaptive, highly communicative, encouraging and dedicated!

My son is doing so much better in school, he can focus on what needs to be done. Homework and projects would take HOURS for him to finish. Not anymore. He’s able to use time at school more effectively, which helps reduce the amount of homework he has. His focus, verbal comprehension, and auditory processing have improved so much and that was my main expectation of LearningRx.
My child enjoyed the sessions with Emily very much. There were times when he was very tired after school, but he insisted on attending the training. We have two children who are half way through the program and so far we are pleased with the results. The trainers have laid the foundation that will allow our children to excel in the second half of their programs. Our daughter was really struggling and we were concerned that she may not move to the next grade in school. Not only has LearningRx given her the mental exercises to improve, but it has given her the tools that she can utilize in learning at home and at school that will allow her to be successful in her future. They gave my daughter coping skills for her ADHD, and improved her quality of life by showing her how to focus, listen, and learn. My daughter can focus in school, her grades improved, she listens well at home. She can get multiple instructions in a row and follow them all. She is more confident and handles overstimulating situations better.

The team here at LearningRx was really phenomenal! My son’s reading scores have raised several levels since completing his brain training course. His main takeaway was he is a lot less reactive and impulsive in his behavior. This was my main reasoning for trying out this program. He slows down and thinks about things before reacting to things and that has been a HUGE win for us!
Jacob began a journey of improving the areas that were holding him back from improving all areas of learning. He was working 10 times harder than all the other kids in school but not seeing much return. Now, I see him working hard, able to stay focused, and see the right response from the work he puts in… which has increased his ability to want to learn.

My son had a TBI (due to an AVM) at the age of 19. We were told about LearningRx and that they were very successful with TBI patients. We attended for 8 months. It was not an easy journey for him, but with his trainer, Will, Dargan and the staff at LearningRX he might not have possibly accomplished what he has done in the past 10 years. Since then he has graduated with an Associate Degree, Bachelor Degree, assistant coach/head coach of his middle school since 2014. Happily married, two beautiful boys, and just passed his physical trainer test.

My son was struggling with his grades and overall understanding of what he was learning at school. My child went from being nonverbal to being a little girl who is communicating AND reading! Naomi was a little girl who would cry instead of telling me what was wrong. She had been learning her alphabet but could not recognize a single letter in the alphabet. After training, Naomi now has conversations with others, and she is excelling in school. We began in the last month of a school year, with my 12 year old, flighty, eccentric little girl. On the side over the summer, this kid who always wanted to read along with audio books started reading chapter books for fun. I was encouraged. Then school started. We just finished our first week, and I noticed HUGE gains in her work. She focuses even on “boring” textbook reading really well, and her retention and comprehension is fantastic. I know she’s going to be able to make up for lost time on reading, writing, and math. I even noticed handwriting improvement!
I can comprehend what I read better, and my writing skills have generally improved (whether it is more reflective or academic writing). I have also noticed improvements in my overall memory. The activities completed each session were very helpful in my improvement.

Personalized approach to meet individual child’s needs. Great results with program. Director, Molly, was a big advocate for us when dealing with the school system and getting him resources he needed. More confident, less resistant to homework, willingness to try new things. Overall better attitude towards learning.
Our plan was individually tailored to our daughter’s needs, with essential measure of success and effectiveness built into it. Everyone involved, from the director to the trainer, support staff, etc. were very helpful. Lastly, high levels of communication were maintained and encouraged throughout the process.
He plans ahead, he’s less reactive to adverse situations, less impulsive with decision making. He seems a lot more mature. And of course, he is reading voluntarily now!

My son used to not be able to multitask. Now he can listen to music while working and listen to our conversation in the next room all at the same time. My son used to not be able to remember a two-step direction. He was getting distracted really easily by other students and noises in the classroom and it hindered his ability to stay on task. I was nervous about the thought of him beginning to drive with how easily distracted he can get but after this program I have seen a huge difference in him. If your child is struggling to pay attention in a distracting school environment, feeling like they’re stupid, or not enjoying school because they’re having trouble completing tasks then this program is for them.
