I am a medical doctor and like to refer to LearningRx to get to the root causes of learning struggles. We have seen a lot of improvement in reading! Our daughter has met the benchmark so we decided to add extra hours to get her a little further. Our daughter pushed back a bit but her trainers were able to help her get over that phase.
LearningRX has been a life altering / trajectory changing life decision for our son!!! The freedom he now has with his brain and processing skills is awesome! Math was always a struggle for her and in the last month, she’s been completing her assignments on her own without asking for help at all (she used to ask for help at least a few times every assignment) and she’s been getting 90+% on every one! Her attitude toward school in general has improved tremendously. She no longer drags her feet when it’s time to work; has a smile on her face instead!

The biggest change we saw in him was his ability to listen, focus and pay attention. He is now able to keep himself on task and focused on what he is doing while also listening to those around him. He has been able to listen and not need for it to be repeated, while also retaining what he heard to apply or question it later.
Desmond has been known in school for his high intelligence and ability to catch on to concepts and even help his peers understand. Yet, even from a young age he was sometimes labeled as “defiant” or “lazy” because he would forget to put away a chair, or turn in his homework, or even remember to write down he had homework. LearningRx has been an answer to prayer. Desmond has had improvement in memory, articulation, processing, being able to hurry, being less overwhelmed. He gained confidence as his desires and his performance began to match up. Thank you!

Our daughter started the ReadRx program in November, mid-pandemic. At the halfway point she was reading at grade level, and reading magazines and chapter books – for fun! Her reading continued to improve…and by the time she finished, we saw huge improvements in her processing speed and ability to recall information. The program is hard work, but worth every bit of effort!
During and after training we have seen a lot of great improvements in my son. There was a big leap in maturity and ability to think reasonably and logically about situations and problems. His task endurance has gone up significantly. Reading ability has improved. Overall his grades at school are really good. His ability to participate in group work has greatly improved. Ryleigh is more confident in reading. She has a better understanding of word meanings and can work at a much quicker speed. She is able to transition between tasks much quicker.
I can’t say enough good things about LearningRx in Shoreview! My son has made incredible progress since starting their program. My daughter just recently finished the program at LearningRX with Courtney and it was well worth the investment. We had struggled for years with what to do as our daughter had challenges with reading and overall confidence in the classroom. Very quickly after starting the program, we noticed an increase in her confidence and then by the end of the 6 months we had seen not only improvement in her confidence, but she was reading more fluently and comprehending what she was reading.
As a result of the LearningRx training, my daughter is now in a much better place. She approaches her schoolwork with ease and enthusiasm, no longer feeling overwhelmed or anxious. She has developed patience with herself and her school tasks within the school environment. She’s no longer so hard on herself when she faces challenges.
The big thing for us is responsiveness and taking the time to clearly respond. The director was always accessible, and as accommodating as needed. When we needed to make changes, she also took action. I think there were some unforeseen staffing challenges the director has to respond to, and I thought Vincent didn’t really lose too much of a connection when the changes were made.
I can not thank Michelle enough for all of your help with my son! I was extremely nervous about my son starting middle school. He did such an amazing job navigating around zoom. He is self-starting, helping his classmates and feeling confident. If it wasn’t for Learning RX I feel his new way of learning would have a much different outcome.

I’ve been in the local LearningRx program for 5 months now, and I am seeing improvements in many ways—cognitive function, memory, executive function, visualization skills, confidence, and more. Our daughter got the attention and skills she needed to become successful in school. Our daughter is doing better in school and all her teachers noticed how the difference in her academic performance after attending LearningRx. She’s very young and we are glad we got the training she needed at an early age.
Our son had struggled with ADHD and OCD for many years through school. School continually struggled to meet his needs and adapt to someone that thinks differently. Working with Dr. Jackson and the staff at LearningRx has helped me understand where my 13-year-old son has struggles. His pretest showed that his auditory processing was around 6 years of age. The post test showed a significant 10-year gain which has resulted in less frustration when given tasks to complete. His visual, logic-reasoning and processing speed increased. She had taken and excelled in college-level science and math courses in 8th grade, but struggled to remember and apply a lot of the basic math she had learned. Despite our initial skepticism about whether LearningRx could make a big difference for such a good student, after just a few months at LearningRx, her ability to retain and use mathematical knowledge really took off. Her focus, clarity, speed, precision of understanding, and ability to solve problems quickly and accurately absolutely rocketed.
His ability to listen and follow through the first time has improved. He doesn’t need to study as long for tests and quizzes. His focus is better. His reading and comprehension have improved.
Our son came into the program while in grade 1 with significant anxiety when it came to his class performance. This was most striking when it came to reading. There were concerns with ADHD and possibly dyslexia. He is listening better and his reading has taken huge strides forward. You can see how this has improved his confidence.
It’s an excellent way for kids and adults to exercise their brain by using puzzles, timing, and logic! It has really helped me!
Our son struggled in school and started to disconnect because it became frustrating. After working with LearningRx everything changed, he talked about school in a positive way, grades came around. Now since 9th grade he has been on the honor roll every semester and is better organized.
