We came in looking for additional help, especially in reading, for our son who is so bright but was struggling with his schoolwork. The assessment affirmed what we thought as far as some cognitive skills which needed strengthening. I homeschool so I’ve been able to give him tons of one-on-one tutoring, but the improvement has been so slow. Ethan grew a lot over the 6 months with the program at home and more so in school. Ethan started his 6th grade year at a 4th grade level and ended the year right at 6th grade level. This is a huge jump!

LearningRx in Raleigh, NC has been the best decision we have made for our daughter. Her reading and cognitive skills exceeded what the program provided, and she was able to increase her reading fluency from an age equivalency of 6.8 to age 9.6 in less than a year. I can comprehend what I read better, and my writing skills have generally improved (whether it is more reflective or academic writing). I have also noticed improvements in my overall memory. The activities completed each session were very helpful in my improvement.
Our daughter has ADHD and on meds that were helpful but she kept running into the same roadblocks academically: poor organization, not completing tasks, avoiding work…So I searched for help and found Learning RX. The training was slow going but improved steadily and I was noticing an improvement in her grades and her confidence. One year later she only made 1 C and is setting goals for her grades. She has far surpassed our expectations with training and we feel it is directly due to the training at Learning RX.
I loved this place because the people that teach it create a fun environment, the games that are incorporated are really fun to play while also learning a lot through them too!
The changes my husband and I have seen in our daughter are so life changing for her. She is ready for kindergarten and ready for the rest of her life. Our daughter has much better impulse control and ability to adapt to a new challenging situation. When she is presented with a new task or learning skill that she finds challenging she does not shut down, during the time of the training she has transformed to be able to accept the challenge and process how she will conquer the challenge.
LearningRx has be amazing! We started this because I wanted my son to feel more confident about himself and his schoolwork especially math and not only is he doing better at math and all subjects he is more confident than he has ever been. To see him come home and say “Mom I love math now, it’s easier and I can do it. I am so proud of myself” It just blows me away. It actually brings tears to my eyes, because as a mom you want the best for your child and Lori and Mrs. Regina and the whole LearningRx has been a blessing to my son and our entire family!! EVERYONE SHOULD TRY THEM OUT!!

Our son was struggling in school from the time he started Kindergarten. By 3rd grade our son was so frustrated and in tears over homework that I started to seek more answers…Then I found Learning RX. When we started this program he was on a Kindergarten to first-grade level at the age of eight. After ten months of training you can see the growth and confidence that he now has when completing his work and reading. He has increased his scores by 2 to 3 grade levels. This program has been huge for our son and I would recommend it to any parent that has a child struggling in school.

My son has dyslexia and was really struggling to read. He not only reads now but reads well and is devouring books! My son also struggles with memory issues among other things, and it’s been so fun to see his memory strengthened and his ability to tell us more things and share more details and even do more things on his own. His confidence absolutely soared after this experience!
My daughter was really struggling to read. Letter recognition and phonetics were so hard for her to remember. She was also struggling to stay focused for an extended period of time as well. After attending LearningRx for the past few months, we have seen drastic changes. Not only does she now know her letters and sounds. She’s READING! This program has helped her confidence in school. She is able to do seat work with little to no guidance from her teacher.
My memory is stronger, and I feel I can make quick and accurate decisions at work, which is very important to me.
When we brought our six year old son to Learning Rx he was in special ed for reading and math. He was spending more time in the principle’s office than in his classroom. He is now in regular class for both reading and math. He has not gone to the principle’s office this school year. When asked why he liked Learning Rx he stated that it helped his brain think like all the other kids. We highly recommend this program. The cost and the time spent is well worth the return.
Tiffany is great throughout the process with checking in and communication. Trainers were easy to get in touch with and coordinate schedules. This is a great group.
The skills that my daughter developed while working with Francesca are invaluable. My daughter’s improved reading skills alone are life changing; they will affect nearly every class she attends, and will probably affect her career choice. Her improved attention and listening abilities have reduced her frustration with school subjects, and thus make her more compliant. She doesn’t panic when she can’t immediately decode a word or grasp a concept. She has learned that there are strategies to make these challenges manageable.
The improvement in his overall willingness to work on academics has been wonderful. I am a big fan! He has learned to keep trying, mistakes or wrong answers are okay. He no longer gets as frustrated or upset with wrong answers.
This place is such a gem! North Louisiana is blessed to have such a top notch facility to help children and families overcome any and all learning challenges. My son is enjoying reading for the first time ever! And is not even half way through his program. Donesa is the most wonderful person to work with. And all the trainers are qualified and trained. Such a blessing.
The significant improvement that we saw in our daughter learning wise during that time. Not forgetting as much as she used to with simple directions. Completing tasks and schoolwork. Participation in class due to the confidence that she knows the material.
We saw significant improvement in our daughter’s reading ability and fluency and know that it was from the work she did during her sessions at LearningRx. Our daughter started LearningRx being unable to read. She could sound out CVC words but was unable to blend the sounds together to say the word. She is now able to sound out many words, blend them together, and even read words without having to sound them out. She is able to read short stories. She used to dislike going to school as she would get frustrated with being unable to do the work. She now enjoys school and has a great attitude about going.
Our 10-year-old daughter continued having learning problems. After 2 months of LearningRx, she has more confidence in her learning ability, and she is already getting better grades in English! We can’t wait to see all the great things she will accomplish with this program!
LearningRX has been a blessing to my son. JR had a sports related concussion in March of 2019. He was in the 8th grade and had forgotten simple things in life. I didn’t know how he would finish out his 8th grade year…I came across LearningRX and after the first week or two he could tell that his memory getting better. My son has gained confidence, his memory, and the stamina to work for longer periods of time. LearningRx introduced me to the term “neuroplasticity,” and I have seen its effects in both of my sons…Not only did their grades improve at the time, but in the years since then, they have continued to benefit from the skills they developed from their LearningRx training. The improved ability to focus is one such skill…My other son benefitted especially in the area of math skills, and he is still able to mentally perform math calculations with amazing speed.
My child enjoyed the sessions with Emily very much. There were times when he was very tired after school, but he insisted on attending the training. Homework was a nightly battle—three hours of stress, tears, and very little progress. Then we found LearningRx. We went in for the evaluation, and for the first time, we saw a new approach—one that focused on how the brain learns, not just what to learn. That summer, Rosa started the program. At first, it wasn’t easy getting her there, but the team made it fun and engaging. Pretty soon, she was the one reminding me it was time to go. She finished the program, got her picture on the wall, and something just clicked.
Our son is almost done with the program and we are very impressed with his progress and accomplishments so far. He has made great strides with his memory, processing skills, and overall attitude about learning. We have noticed less anxiety and frustration when he’s doing homework at home. I’m a little over four months into the program, and overall everything has been fantastic. Nick has been a wonderful trainer, helping push my mental skills to their limits. I’ve seen improvements to my focus and concentration, and most importantly to me, I’ve felt much more confident In just about every way. The LearningRX program was extremely helpful for my child.
