My 15-year old was struggling with getting school work done and for the first time lacked confidence that he could do it. Middle school had been effortless but remote high school was proving to be a problem. Specifically he was having problems reading and retaining the story and meaning of the Odyssey. The journey through LearningRX not only worked on his learning skills but also on the mindset that my son can push through the hard work and do things he did not think he could. The confidence he got from the program is priceless.
Kenlee was really struggling as a student going into the 2nd grade. She had only been homeschooled. No matter what skills I tried, she was only reading on a kindergarten level and now within 6 months she is on grade level. Our son made some incredible improvements in the areas he was lacking before brain training. He looked forward to going and made noticeable jumps in reading and became more confident in other school subjects. Our child has improved his reading level in school and has been more willing to try hard things. We have been quite impressed with the changes we’ve seen in him.

Learning RX has been such an amazing experience for my 7 year old son who most likely has dyslexia. We are so happy with the results and are amazed at how reading is now so much easier for him than it was before. He can now effortlessly blend 3 letter words together whereas before he started training there he could hardly blend 2 letter words and hated reading. Now it’s coming much easier and his confidence is high and reading is much more enjoyable!

He does seem to get his work done quicker and more independently – depending on the subject. He is also writing more notes in class. He is not complaining anymore about reading although he still struggles with answering questions about what he read. His frustration level has improved some as well as persevering.
As someone who’s had my fair share of bike crashes and TBIs, I can’t emphasize enough how important brain training is. I’ve had the pleasure of hearing Kathi speak to several groups I’m involved with, and she truly knows her stuff when it comes to the brain. Learning RX was a great way to bring some excitement out in our daughter when it comes to learning! I recommend this program for parents who has a child with ADHD. This program helped my daughter to block out distractions, to really use her brain of figuring things out, and she completes her homework faster without being reminded to do her homework. The program is also great for adults.
We stumbled upon LearningRx, thinking it was worth a shot— after graduating under a year later, we can confidently say it helped our child make better connections and improved her working memory. The staff and director are like family to us; they nurtured and encouraged our daughter more than just academically; they absolutely instilled confidence and kept her motivated throughout her training. Highly, highly recommend for kids and adults with memory problems, ADHD, problems with executive function and disorganization, or just needing a boost in productivity and efficiency.
We have two children who are half way through the program and so far we are pleased with the results. The trainers have laid the foundation that will allow our children to excel in the second half of their programs. We can see their confidence growing and we look forward to them improving in all academic areas especially reading comprehension.
From our first conversations with LearningRx staff, the assessment process, starting our training schedule to now where we have established a routine, we have felt well informed and cared for by the staff. We receive frequent progress check ins and can observe training sessions anytime we like. The LearningRx staff do a great job with the range of diverse learners and seem to find ways to keep them all engaged.
