My son entered LearningRX as a very challenged reader. He had many of the skills he needed to read, but had a hard time putting those skills together. After working with a trainer at LearningRX for 20-weeks, his skills improved dramatically. His trainer, Will Atkinson, made the hard work of brain training fun for my 10-year old son. LearningRX accomplished what we had hoped it would and it was one of the best academic things we have ever done for our children.
My daughter is more confident and independent. She interrupts less and engages in conversation more seamlessly with people. She sits much more still in her chair, rather than fidgeting or always bringing her knees up to the table. She has improved time management skills and can follow through with several tasks at a time.

We reached out to LearningRX when our son was about to enter the fifth grade. There had been many struggles through traditional public school with reading and keeping up with math facts and focus in general…when we went to LearningRX they helped us understand that it was a processing skill that was needing to be relearned. My son had a TBI (due to an AVM) at the age of 19. We were told about LearningRx and that they were very successful with TBI patients. We attended for 8 months. It was not an easy journey for him, but with his trainer, Will, Dargan and the staff at LearningRX he might not have possibly accomplished what he has done in the past 10 years. Since then he has graduated with an Associate Degree, Bachelor Degree, assistant coach/head coach of his middle school since 2014. Happily married, two beautiful boys, and just passed his physical trainer test.
It was an incredible experience having three children who looked forward to going to brain training on a weekly basis! These trainers were truly incredible in the way they spent time with my kids. I will forever be grateful as well as be a lifetime supporter for what LearningRx is striving to accomplish!
Learning RX has had a wonderful effect on my son Roman. After several weeks of fast paced and fun online activity with a tutor, Roman had his first week of school. Roman, who last year had difficulty sitting at the computer and getting anything done in his post-covid, post-physical school sessions, was attentive, composed, and capable, in a way I have not seen before for this type of activity. Thanks to the excellently designed system and team for their work.
Eventually, I started to enjoy coming in and started to see improvements myself. Throughout the program, I felt like my spelling got better and many other things. Most of the trainers were very nice. Although training was 1.5 hours long, it felt like it flew by because not only are the drills effective, but they are also fun and challenging. I’m very thankful for your time and help continuing my growth.
I just completed 12 weeks of training at LearningRx and could not be happier with the experience. Over the course of the program, I noticed steady and meaningful improvements: faster speed on exercises, greater confidence with mental math (especially addition and multiplication under time pressure), and better focus even with auditory distractions. I also became more consistent at sustaining attention, switching tasks quickly, and tolerating interruptions without losing momentum.
Since starting LearningRx, my children have gained confidence within themselves as well as their schoolwork. Their grades have improved, and schoolwork (homework) is not dreadful task like before. My children have also become more responsible. Not only at school, but at home as well,

Before coming to LearningRx, I was on medication for ADD and was having a difficult time concentrating and staying focused on tasks. Just a couple weeks after starting my training, I stopped taking my medication and saw improvements in my daily activities. I am able now to focus on finishing a task once its started. I can remember things much better now as well such as things I need to do or grocery lists. The most significant improvement I have seen is in my attention.
We saw so many little changes throughout the journey towards his growth that we couldn’t have done it without this program.

It was amazing how this brain training positively affected every aspect of my 8-year old’s life, from comprehending what he read to learning and speaking to building confidence in himself and working through the meltdowns rather than shutting down. Homework time, discipline time, and times of losing are also a lot easier with new understanding. All of which will make his life lessons, now and in the future, easier to adapt to and learn from!

I was one overwhelmed parent after being told my daughter was suspected as having dyslexia by her school, which followed up with “we won’t be able to get her where she needs to be in reading”, essentially. I had seen the LearningRx sign before, so that was my first call. I had a lot of questions! The front desk (Jordan) was so very helpful at giving me as much information as she could before meeting us. We have now finished our brain training plan and are so happy with the results!
LearningRx’s program is absolutely amazing and has made such a HUGE impact on our daughters’ life. When our daughter started this program, at 6 years old, she could barely recognize/recall the alphabet or count past 10 and now, at 7 years old, she is able to read 4 letter words and do difficult addition math problems. She went from having zero confidence in the classroom and trying to hide, to occasionally raising her hand to answer questions. Not only is the program amazing but so are the staff. They all truly care about every student and want to make sure everyone succeeds.

After completing a 20-week program, we’ve seen great improvements in her abilities at school. She is better able to stay focused and deal with distractions, something that had previously been a challenge. Her confidence has soared and this boost in self-assurance has been evident in all areas of her academic and social life. Math, which once felt like a constant struggle, has become much easier for her. She now handles math facts with greater ease and working through her math homework no longer causes the same frustration.
He does seem to get his work done quicker and more independently – depending on the subject. He is also writing more notes in class. He is not complaining anymore about reading although he still struggles with answering questions about what he read. His frustration level has improved some as well as persevering.

My 24 year old daughter has Down Syndrome…Before Learning RX my daughter had tried many ways to learn to read, and she would always get stuck on blending words. Learning RX’s expertise on the brain and learning has proved that my daughter can read. She can blend words now and she’s believing in herself and gaining skills to help her into a more independent life. We are making huge strides just within 3 months!!
Our son is 8 years old and has struggled since 3 years old to focus. Starting to learn to read and figuring out letters has been very difficult…Mel is motivating to him and continues to push him to his potential. In the first month the change we saw in our son’s focus was jaw dropping!..Within 3 months of beginning the program our son has started to read full homework page assignments and complete them on his own! Mel and this program has completely changed our lives to which we will be eternally grateful.
My daughter has been brain training with Courtney for couple of months now. Our daughter says she has better organizational skills. She has been using the visualization she has learned when driving to areas she isn’t familiar with. Being able to pay attention easier to everything going on around her while driving as well as on the soccer field has improved. She also is able to hold information in her head longer when looking up answers to homework questions. This training will follow her for the rest of her life. I am excited to see how much more she will improve by the completion of this program.
My son was struggling with his grades and overall understanding of what he was learning at school. We tried a few tutoring programs, but we knew immediately that just a rote learning wouldn’t make long lasting changes and it’s something we can do at home too. After the first assessment at LearningRx, we knew that was what we were looking for. Shortly after we started the program, we saw a big jump in his attitude towards learning. He was motivated, willing to try over and over again and much more acceptant of what he was lacking.
Both children continued to make huge gains in working memory, retention, auditory and visual processing, and more! Aside from the program itself, Michelle and the staff at LearningRx Chattanooga are incredible to work with. My children felt loved and supported through the program and the staff were always available to answer questions or provide tailored advice for our family. LearningRx was our saving grace. I searched high and low for services like this and finally found them. My son was struggling so bad in school and was so far behind his peers. He not only lacked the educational ability, but he lacked confidence. For the last year and a half, he went here and they built his confidence beyond what I could ever imagine. After suffering an acquired brain injury, I never thought I’d hear my son read. But thanks to the wonderful staff at LearningRx he is now reading and excited to learn.
Zach used to say all of his friends were much smarter than him and he does not say that anymore. He seems much more confident in his ability to tackle his academic schedule.
