He does seem to get his work done quicker and more independently – depending on the subject. He is also writing more notes in class. He is not complaining anymore about reading although he still struggles with answering questions about what he read. His frustration level has improved some as well as persevering.
The program is great. It improved Devin a lot of skill such as word attack, auditory processing etc. it will be benefit for Devin whole life.
Learning RX has been such an amazing experience for my 7 year old son who most likely has dyslexia. We are so happy with the results and are amazed at how reading is now so much easier for him than it was before. He can now effortlessly blend 3 letter words together whereas before he started training there he could hardly blend 2 letter words and hated reading. Now it’s coming much easier and his confidence is high and reading is much more enjoyable!

On the recommendation of a friend, we turned to LearningRx Richmond Hill. Khai and Jeri conducted a thorough assessment and designed a personalized training plan tailored to my daughter’s needs. A special thanks to trainer Prudence, whose expertise and enthusiasm made learning an enjoyable experience for her. The one-on-one training was highly targeted, and we saw noticeable improvements in a short period of time. After more than a year of training, she has now caught up with her peers—exceeding our expectations!
I was very pleased that my son was able to pay attention better this first term of school. The staff and director were always friendly and willing to share their experience for other things that could help carry over to school and home.
As parents of a 6-year-old recently diagnosed with ADHD, we were searching for a non-medication intervention to help our son focus, regulate his body, and succeed in school…The progress has been incredible. Homework was a nightly battle—three hours of stress, tears, and very little progress. Then we found LearningRx. We went in for the evaluation, and for the first time, we saw a new approach—one that focused on how the brain learns, not just what to learn. That summer, Rosa started the program. At first, it wasn’t easy getting her there, but the team made it fun and engaging. Pretty soon, she was the one reminding me it was time to go. She finished the program, got her picture on the wall, and something just clicked.
Desmond has been known in school for his high intelligence and ability to catch on to concepts and even help his peers understand. Yet, even from a young age he was sometimes labeled as “defiant” or “lazy” because he would forget to put away a chair, or turn in his homework, or even remember to write down he had homework. LearningRx has been an answer to prayer. Desmond has had improvement in memory, articulation, processing, being able to hurry, being less overwhelmed. We have noticed that homework is being done faster and even being started on his own. My child is happy to sit and read a book and can work through the words much more fluently than he did before LearningRx. He is finally at or a little above grade level. He is willing to try new things and tends to be less frustrated when he gets stuck (improved resiliency) and is willing to work it out to solve the problem.
LearningRx has done SO much to help my child. They worked with him on his level and made accommodations when needed to help him be successful in their program. If it wasn’t for them, he would have fallen behind more in school than he already was. All the staff is very welcoming and made my child and myself feel welcome. We plan on continuing with them for additional programs to help our child become more successful with his education!
The performance of the directors was incredibly supportive and very family oriented. Working with both of them to support our child was a privilege and honour. We have noticed that our child is more confident, has an easier time with approaching challenges and is less anxious. Hearing the news that your daughter has dyslexia is quite frightening. As a parent all you see is your bright, beautiful, and perfect little girl. Your first thought is fear, but then you want to help. Reaching out to LearningRx was the best academic decision we could have ever made for her. They have the sweetest staff, and we were blessed with the best trainer. She has truly transformed my daughter to a reader. Her confidence level when reading has tripled. Through all of the whining and complaining, they pushed through.
LearningRx is an incredible learning facility! When I first enrolled my niece, she struggled with reading and comprehension. It was incredibly hard to keep her focused. They gave my daughter coping skills for her ADHD, and improved her quality of life by showing her how to focus, listen, and learn. My daughter can focus in school, her grades improved, she listens well at home. She can get multiple instructions in a row and follow them all. We began in the last month of a school year, with my 12 year old, flighty, eccentric little girl. On the side over the summer, this kid who always wanted to read along with audio books started reading chapter books for fun. I was encouraged. Then school started. We just finished our first week, and I noticed HUGE gains in her work. She focuses even on “boring” textbook reading really well, and her retention and comprehension is fantastic. I know she’s going to be able to make up for lost time on reading, writing, and math. I even noticed handwriting improvement!
Caroline had positive results from the program. The team was consultative and provided regular feedback about Caroline’s progress. Also, the team was flexible with scheduling conflicts. Stronger test scores in school.
