Our son was barely reading in 4th grade and now he is reading confidently and enjoying it. He volunteers to read regularly and there has been a huge change in his attitude as well because he is confident in his reading! If you are on the fence just do it! It’s a lot but so worth it!

My daughter recently completed their program and we couldn’t be happier with the results! She was struggling so badly despite being medicated for her ADHD. We tested and started the program in the early November and noticed results as soon as she was back in school. Noah appears to have more patience at home. Prior to classes at LearningRx I felt there were constant “battles” to get homework done, chores at home, and day-to-day requests. If Noah becomes overwhelmed, he is able to communicate that to me in a more positive way.

After completing a 20-week program, we’ve seen great improvements in her abilities at school. She is better able to stay focused and deal with distractions, something that had previously been a challenge. Her confidence has soared and this boost in self-assurance has been evident in all areas of her academic and social life. Math, which once felt like a constant struggle, has become much easier for her. She now handles math facts with greater ease and working through her math homework no longer causes the same frustration.

My son has been in the LearningRx program for two months. He is enjoying the work and sessions with the trainer. He is already noticing improvement with his memory, mental processing speed and self-confidence.
Before coming to LearningRx, I was on medication for ADD and was having a difficult time concentrating and staying focused on tasks. Just a couple weeks after starting my training, I stopped taking my medication and saw improvements in my daily activities. I am able now to focus on finishing a task once its started. I can remember things much better now as well such as things I need to do or grocery lists. The most significant improvement I have seen is in my attention.

What stood out the most for me in the program was the staff’s commitment and dedication to student success. I have never seen him so excited to do something related to academics, mostly because his confidence had been broken by test scores that did not reflect his effort. Since coming to LearningRx, our daughter has gained confidence and independence. While doing homework or practice worksheets, she used to fight to avoid the work and now eagerly sits down to work on things. My daughter has more fluency and confidence now when she reads, but most of all, she is reading! She totes several books in her bookbag to and from school to read during down-time at school and at home. Reading is no longer seen as a chore and there is no longer the same struggle we had before starting this program.

Our daughter started high school with little to no academic confidence. Day 1 she felt defeated, lost and unhappy. My husband and I made the right decision when we signed her up for LearningRx! We quickly figured out what was lacking in her learning environment; and we transferred her to a new school. She diligently worked 3 sessions a week with her LearningRx coach all while making time to catch up on new curriculum.
