The transition from High School to College was rough (with COVID complications). My daughter’s confidence was shot and her focus was distracted as best given the unusual stressful events. Learning Rx was a God send. With my daughter’s commitment and the guidance of a highly inspirational instructor, my daughter improved her memory and ability to tune out distractions. She learned how to establish a plan for study patterns and follow through on that plan. Her confidence level is remarkably better and is supported by her improved performance at college.
At age six, my daughter couldn’t recognize all the letters of the alphabet—now she is reading! Austin and his team at LearningRx were encouraging, helpful, and flexible throughout the process. My daughter was excited to participate and proud of her progress. I’m truly impressed and would strongly encourage others to look into LearningRx. It has been life-changing for my child.

After covid my son found himself 2 1/2 years behind in reading. With ADHD and Dyslexia and so much time missed in the classroom he needed more help then the school could offer. After 9 months we have seen tremendous progress. It is a big commitment both financially and time but it was worth it.
My college age daughter completed LearningRx this year. Olivia her brain trainer was absolutely amazing! We were so pleased with her progress and wished we would have known about this earlier in her life!

The program trainers worked hard to challenge Deacon in such a way to have optimal growth in reading and comprehension. The center and brain training activities were engaging and kept Deacon in a place of wanting to continue with things that are very hard for him. He was cared for and he could tell he was liked and being championed each time he had a session. Deacon now has more confidence in reading.
I decided to come to LearningRx because of my dyslexia and memory problems and how they were affecting my school work. As I worked through the LearningRx program I noticed significant gains in my memory and how fast I work through things. I noticed that I can read a lot faster and that I remember to turn in my homework or information for tests. LearningRx helped me improve my school work and I feel a lot more confident with everything I do. LearningRx has made all the difference in the world.
I went through the program as an adult looking to improve my reading and cognitive skills, and the test results proved that it worked. The out-of-pocket cost can be a bit daunting, but if it’s feasible, it provides many hours of one-on-one training to enhance your brain skills.
From our first conversations with LearningRx staff, the assessment process, starting our training schedule to now where we have established a routine, we have felt well informed and cared for by the staff. We receive frequent progress check ins and can observe training sessions anytime we like. The LearningRx staff do a great job with the range of diverse learners and seem to find ways to keep them all engaged. We would definitely recommend the Shoreview location to any family who does not know where to turn next to support their child’s educational roadblocks.

Everyone has worked so super great with our son and made sure he had everything he needed to work with. Our son has fine motor skills problems and before going to LearningRx you could not read his writing. After his trainer Ms. Diana worked with him on his writing skills and hand muscles; we could not believe how well his writing improved.
The trainers really care about the students, and they push each student to reach the next goal. The training is very motivating, and it has helped my kids in levels of reading, motivation and confidence.
My daughter was diagnosed with ADD…Fortunately, I did not wait too long after this diagnosis to bring her to Rx. Her struggles consisted of: difficulty reading, spelling, processing information as well as the inability to retain it (short term and long term memory.) What used to be 20 min. Intervals of school work at a time has become day-long endurance…Not only is her reading off the charts, but her comprehension was a benefit that I didn’t expect. Before starting this program, I struggled with auditory processing, which often made communication and focus more challenging. Now, not only has my auditory processing improved dramatically, but my productivity has skyrocketed, my memory is sharper, and my overall cognitive abilities have reached new heights.
Our son made amazing gains over the course of his time at LearningRx. In comparison to medication and other things we have tried, we have seen the most significant change from the LearningRx program. His memory has improved. He used to not be able to remember anything that occurred in his classes at school and now he can remember most of the key points and has even begun taking a few notes.
What stood out the most for me in the program was the staff’s commitment and dedication to student success. I have never seen him so excited to do something related to academics, mostly because his confidence had been broken by test scores that did not reflect his effort. Now, he has the confidence to know he can achieve the results he desires.
The changes my husband and I have seen in our daughter are so life changing for her. She is ready for kindergarten and ready for the rest of her life. Our daughter has much better impulse control and ability to adapt to a new challenging situation. When she is presented with a new task or learning skill that she finds challenging she does not shut down, during the time of the training she has transformed to be able to accept the challenge and process how she will conquer the challenge.
I was one overwhelmed parent after being told my daughter was suspected as having dyslexia by her school, which followed up with “we won’t be able to get her where she needs to be in reading”, essentially. I had seen the LearningRx sign before, so that was my first call. I had a lot of questions! The front desk (Jordan) was so very helpful at giving me as much information as she could before meeting us. We have now finished our brain training plan and are so happy with the results!

My son was reluctant to sign up, but became more engaged once he started making progress. Further along in Learning RX, he became a self starter with his school work and could stay on task for longer periods of time with his improved focus, and ability to tackle more difficult material.

Our experience with Jacci and her team at LearningRx was fantastic! Our daughter started the program the summer before 3rd grade with goals to improve her reading fluency and math concepts…As she worked through the LearningRx program, her self-confidence and processing speed drastically improved, she no longer needed “special help” at school and she got A’s in reading and math! Our adopted daughter struggled in every socially setting and with impulse control. She made so much progress in this program are watching her thrive every day. We were educated and well informed after our daughter’s testing. We were communicated with well about scheduling, sessions and progress. At completion we were not surprised at the awesome progress our daughter had made, because we saw her growth as it happened.
Our son’s trainer worked really hard to improve his reading and processing skills. Although his behavior was challenging at times, his trainer persevered. We are grateful for all of the one-on-one attention.

Eventually, I started to enjoy coming in and started to see improvements myself. Throughout the program, I felt like my spelling got better and many other things. Most of the trainers were very nice. Although training was 1.5 hours long, it felt like it flew by because not only are the drills effective, but they are also fun and challenging. Our daughter was really struggling and we were concerned that she may not move to the next grade in school. Not only has LearningRx given her the mental exercises to improve, but it has given her the tools that she can utilize in learning at home and at school that will allow her to be successful in her future. She has moved from a place of defeat and sometimes despair to one of being hopeful and having plans for her future. She has learned that she can do hard things.

My son has been going to LearningRx since about August. He is now in Junior Honor Society for his school. This is brand new for him. I highly recommend this place. It is really an investment in your child’s future and well worth the cost!

Hearing the news that your daughter has dyslexia is quite frightening. As a parent all you see is your bright, beautiful, and perfect little girl. Your first thought is fear, but then you want to help. Reaching out to LearningRx was the best academic decision we could have ever made for her.
