Learning RX has been very beneficial for my 11 year old. I can see improvements already (just about 3 months) with her memory, attention and focus. She is also building confidence as she progresses through the exercises and the various levels. With her learning challenges, she has always struggled with self-esteem. Her trainer is hands-down amazing. She gives her the perfect amount of support while also pushing her to keep going forward when things get really challenging. LearningRx has been so awesome and such a blessing for me!…I had never really planned ahead well or been an organizer type of person, but I had done well in school. So we found LearningRx, and in addition to my already recognized struggles, their pre-assessment revealed other areas of weaknesses that needed to be addressed. My focus and concentration have gotten a lot better, and it is harder to be distracted, by myself or others. My working memory and ability to use logic to figure various daily scenarios out has also improved…I would highly recommend LearningRx to others!
My daughter has been brain training with Courtney for couple of months now. Our daughter says she has better organizational skills. She has been using the visualization she has learned when driving to areas she isn’t familiar with. Being able to pay attention easier to everything going on around her while driving as well as on the soccer field has improved. She also is able to hold information in her head longer when looking up answers to homework questions. This training will follow her for the rest of her life. I am excited to see how much more she will improve by the completion of this program.
My son is on the spectrum and doesn’t do well with classroom learning and the environment here has been great for him. If you have a struggling learner and/or reader, I HIGHLY recommend brain training. The more I have learned about tutoring vs brain training, the more I wish I had gotten him here sooner.
Since completing my program, I have seen great improvement in my memory, comprehension, and processing speed. LearningRx made my completion of high school and transition to college a lot smoother. Our daughter just finished her 80th session and we believe it has improved her focus and confidence tremendously. While debating if we should check it out, we thought we’d rather give it a try instead of continuing to struggle and wonder if we made a mistake by not going or going too late. Now that we are through the sessions, we can say it was worth the time and financial commitment.
My 24 year old daughter has Down Syndrome…Before Learning RX my daughter had tried many ways to learn to read, and she would always get stuck on blending words. My daughter (13) did a customized training course focusing on reading comprehension and memory retention. Leah was her trainer for the entirety of training. My daughter saw dramatic results that have been sustained and carried through into her school year. The reason why I could succeed was that I was on ADHD medication, but the medication made me extremely depressed and enraged all of the time. When I stopped taking it, I was filled with great joy because of my newfound freedom. But something was still wrong. Without the medication, I forgot the first part of the sentence by the end of the second part of the sentence. My imagination never turned off, and despite going to school an hour early and tutoring for an hour after school, I barely passed with Cs. Then I enrolled in LearningRx. Within three months, I was on fire. I could concentrate, handle awkward social situations, find motivation, put my creative ideas in paper. I attacked school with newfound strength. Last year I was the slowest kid in the class, but this year I am one of the fastest and smartest.

The program trainers worked hard to challenge Deacon in such a way to have optimal growth in reading and comprehension. The center and brain training activities were engaging and kept Deacon in a place of wanting to continue with things that are very hard for him. He was cared for and he could tell he was liked and being championed each time he had a session. Deacon now has more confidence in reading.

Aselin was having a very tough time in school, specifically with math. We went from constant tears over homework that she did not understand, low grades and not wanting to go to school. To now enjoying going to school, completing homework on her own and getting great grades.

I was one overwhelmed parent after being told my daughter was suspected as having dyslexia by her school, which followed up with “we won’t be able to get her where she needs to be in reading”, essentially. I had seen the LearningRx sign before, so that was my first call. I had a lot of questions! The front desk (Jordan) was so very helpful at giving me as much information as she could before meeting us. We have now finished our brain training plan and are so happy with the results!

This program made a huge difference in my son’s cognitive skills! In pre-assessment, he scored well below average in 7 out of 9 skills. By the end of the program, he scored average to well above average in 7 of the 10 skills, while still showing huge growth in the two lower scoring skills. I highly recommend this program if your child struggles at all in any area!
Since coming to LearningRx, our daughter has gained confidence and independence. While doing homework or practice worksheets, she used to fight to avoid the work and now eagerly sits down to work on things. Since LearningRx started with our daughter, we have gone from her being below national standards to now being on track. Carol, her LearningRx teacher has been amazing with our daughter – keeping her on-task and when our daughter is not focusing, she has immediately been able to redirect her and get her back on track.
