You’ve watched it happen a hundred times.
Your child sits down with a book, a worksheet, or a set of instructions and reads it once. Then again. Then maybe a third time, lips moving slightly, eyes scanning back to the beginning. You wait. They look up, maybe still unsure what they just read.
It’s frustrating to watch. And if you’re honest, it’s a little worrying, too.
