I completed a 6 month course of brain training with LearningRX…I found Dargan through the Stroke Comback club after his presentation there and I was hooked. I suffered a second stroke…and had to stop working as a Registered Nurse…Because of the stroke, I suffered memory and concentration issues and even lost reading and writing ability. LearningRX gave me the confidence to live on my own independently.
I was on the verge of dropping out of college till my mom enrolled me in Learning RX, and thank the Lord she did. I have a learning disability so I have always struggled in school but as I got older and older school got harder and harder. Chel has helped me and my brain. She is very patient, understanding, and flexible when scheduling my sessions. I’ve noticed an improvement in my brain function which has helped me in school.
Overall it was a great experience and I have no complaints. It was well worth the drive and time spent to help our daughter. Her trainer, Kim, was fantastic and everyone was always helpful and nice. Our daughter showed great improvements and we are so thankful!

Lisa and the trainers here never gave up on my son even though he was difficult to work with. He is now doing much better in school when he puts forth effort. He is willing to try new things. My son is making better grades; he is doing well at school when he chooses to do his assignments. He is trying new things and doesn’t shut down as easily.

LearningRx has been a transformative experience for my son. We chose it because we wanted to strengthen his cognitive skills, not just his academic performance. From the very first session, I noticed his confidence growing. The personalized, one-on-one approach helped target areas like attention, memory, and processing speed – skills that are often the root of learning challenges. His progress has been remarkable.
I started LearningRx knowing what it can do having been a past trainee and was specific about developing my short term and long-term memory and ability to process information faster. I graduated with a very noticeably improved mind. I can read my bank routing and remember it now. I recall people’s names, and I can hear a joke and remember it 4 hours later. I used to struggle with groups of information and now I can process it and make it work for me!
I am certain that my brain works better now than it did even before I got sick. I am thrilled and appreciative. My children (ages 7 and 8) have also trained and have seen great results. If you have a child with ADHD or a child who is struggling to learn to read, training at LearningRx can be life-changing, even when other interventions fail.
Both of my boys when through brain training. Our goal was to fill in any educational gaps and improve their ACT scores. Both boys ended up in the 30s for their ACT. We love LearningRx Texarkana and would recommend this program to others!

Great program! My son completed about 4 months of the program and made such a huge change! I wasn’t for sure until I saw the numbers go up! The program director Mrs Donesa was great and very accommodating! My son’s instructor was also great as well, they align the kids to who suits them best, which is great! I would highly recommend.

Her visual processing and auditory processing had improved beyond her years resulting in her working memory, visual memory, logic-reasoning, processing speed, and attentiveness improving; which allowed school to become enjoyable and no longer so challenging. Learning Rx is more than we hoped for! My son has many learning delays and is partially deaf, and how Ashley has worked with him to get him to process information over the past 6 months is truly an answer to all of our years of trying to help him. The process is consistent and we have seen real results, cannot say enough positive things about cognitive brain training and what Learning Rx has provided for our son.
Daniel had difficulty learning material and was not getting the support he needed in the school system. After he trained his attention, memory, comprehension and more got better. He still is not at grade level but his ability to learn is improved. The center, director and trainer were always supportive of our needs. They worked very hard to help Daniel and showed a lot of patience.
We have seen many improvements within Mackenzie in all categories. Not only has it helped her grades and academically but in everyday life. She is much more confident in herself, and this program has helped grow her brain, but she has also grown as a person.

Our son came into the program while in grade 1 with significant anxiety when it came to his class performance. This was most striking when it came to reading. There were concerns with ADHD and possibly dyslexia. He is listening better and his reading has taken huge strides forward. You can see how this has improved his confidence.
I am a medical doctor and like to refer to LearningRx to get to the root causes of learning struggles. We have seen a lot of improvement in reading! Our daughter has met the benchmark so we decided to add extra hours to get her a little further. Our daughter pushed back a bit but her trainers were able to help her get over that phase.

My son has been attending LearningRx for just a month, and he loves it! He really enjoys the challenging games and looks forward to each session. His coach is very nice and has made a great connection with him. I can already see little improvements in his focus and engagement. My son usually resists new activities, but he’s been surprisingly enthusiastic about LearningRx.
Our daughter always walked out after her session with a big smile, feeling more confident. Her short and long-term memory have improved, noticeable in her daily school and home routines. Her number sense has improved dramatically. Proof of this has been her ability to understand and work with factors, fractions, and the coordinate system, which I thought would be an extremely difficult task to accomplish.

LearningRX has been a blessing to my son. JR had a sports related concussion in March of 2019. He was in the 8th grade and had forgotten simple things in life. I didn’t know how he would finish out his 8th grade year…I came across LearningRX and after the first week or two he could tell that his memory getting better. My son has gained confidence, his memory, and the stamina to work for longer periods of time. LearningRx’s program is absolutely amazing and has made such a HUGE impact on our daughters’ life. When our daughter started this program, at 6 years old, she could barely recognize/recall the alphabet or count past 10 and now, at 7 years old, she is able to read 4 letter words and do difficult addition math problems. She went from having zero confidence in the classroom and trying to hide, to occasionally raising her hand to answer questions. Not only is the program amazing but so are the staff. They all truly care about every student and want to make sure everyone succeeds.
