Our daughter has ADHD and on meds that were helpful but she kept running into the same roadblocks academically: poor organization, not completing tasks, avoiding work…So I searched for help and found Learning RX. The training was slow going but improved steadily and I was noticing an improvement in her grades and her confidence. One year later she only made 1 C and is setting goals for her grades. This program has been incredible for both our daughters. Both have completed the program, and both have excelled in school and college entrance exams as a result of the efficacy of the program and the incredible skill of our trainer Tara as part of the program. As a Clinical Psychologist, I have seen many programs throughout the years to improve grades, learning methods, etc. I have never seen a program that generates such clear and demonstrated results as in this program. My daughter and son in-law needed to find a way to get their daughter some help with reading. They spoke with a few friends that had children that attended LearningRx with great success. After the evaluation she started and immediately embraced the learning process. I feel very fortunate to be able to bring her to the classes when I can. I am very impressed with her progress in such a short time. Her goal is to be able to read a chapter book like her siblings mine is just to see her read without out her being embarrassed.

I turned 68 and finished my training at RX Learning in Charlottesville a few weeks ago. Michelle, my trainer, made my experience enjoyable, beneficial and relevant. Some of the many benefits of the program for me include: improved ability to maintain focus for longer periods of time; improved ability to ignore distractions; improved long and short term memory; acquisition of problem solving skills that I use on a regular basis; and most importantly – knowing that I can tackle everyday life issues with confidence and flexibility.

I completed a 6 month course of brain training with LearningRX…I found Dargan through the Stroke Comback club after his presentation there and I was hooked. I suffered a second stroke…and had to stop working as a Registered Nurse…Because of the stroke, I suffered memory and concentration issues and even lost reading and writing ability. LearningRX gave me the confidence to live on my own independently.
He is reading chapter books and is testing in 80th percentile for math and reading. He is no longer in any interventions support in school. He is now so confident in all areas and I know there is no way we as parents could have gotten him here alone. I would recommend any parent to embrace this program and allow it to help support your child!

My son was struggling with his grades and overall understanding of what he was learning at school. We tried a few tutoring programs, but we knew immediately that just a rote learning wouldn’t make long lasting changes and it’s something we can do at home too. After the first assessment at LearningRx, we knew that was what we were looking for. Shortly after we started the program, we saw a big jump in his attitude towards learning. As parents of a 6-year-old recently diagnosed with ADHD, we were searching for a non-medication intervention to help our son focus, regulate his body, and succeed in school…The progress has been incredible. He’s more focused, calmer, and performing very well academically…We’re so grateful for the Learning RX team and their program. Annabella was AMAZING with my son and she used creative ways to motivate him and keep him on track.
Tatum is so much more willing to try hard things, his reading has improved tremendously. We recently had a parent/teacher conference, and his teacher had such great things to say about him. He is being a leader in his classroom (which is new for him), he is working hard, and his math and reading skills are right where they should be.
My 11 year old son has been doing Learning Rx all summer and we have noticed many positive changes. He is following through with directions much better, He is more focused on his work and he is more engaged. I think he’s starting to feel more confident as a learner. This program made a huge difference in my son’s cognitive skills! In pre-assessment, he scored well below average in 7 out of 9 skills. By the end of the program, he scored average to well above average in 7 of the 10 skills, while still showing huge growth in the two lower scoring skills. I highly recommend this program if your child struggles at all in any area!
