Our son and us were fortunate to have found LearningRx to help him with so many important aspects of his everyday life. I decided to come to LearningRx because of my dyslexia and memory problems and how they were affecting my school work. As I worked through the LearningRx program I noticed significant gains in my memory and how fast I work through things. I noticed that I can read a lot faster and that I remember to turn in my homework or information for tests. LearningRx helped me improve my school work and I feel a lot more confident with everything I do. LearningRx has made all the difference in the world.
We began in the last month of a school year, with my 12 year old, flighty, eccentric little girl. On the side over the summer, this kid who always wanted to read along with audio books started reading chapter books for fun. I was encouraged. Then school started. We just finished our first week, and I noticed HUGE gains in her work. She focuses even on “boring” textbook reading really well, and her retention and comprehension is fantastic. I know she’s going to be able to make up for lost time on reading, writing, and math. I even noticed handwriting improvement!
Gabrielle has shown consistent improvements in her schoolwork scores. She has told us that school seems easier. Above all, Gabby has learned skills that will help her be successful in whatever she chooses to do. She has learned how to focus more intentionally, listen more actively, plan in advance, priorities her tasks.
Very attentive to the student’s needs. The program was great and focused on his needs of improvement. My son excelled in all testing after completing.

My child is more confident in herself and school. She is not avoiding reading, she knows that she is capable and wants to continue to improve. She can focus easier and when she is told homework needs to get done, she gets it done. She is not running to use the bathroom as an excuse to avoid schoolwork.
LearningRx has been a God sent blessing to us. They love each child here and breathe life into each student. They love and care, they have become like family. The amount of confidence my child has shown within himself, and his schoolwork makes me so proud of him! This has been by far the BEST experience ever! We are so grateful!
I know that Riley still needs work with his attention and focus. However, I have seen improvement in these areas that has helped his schoolwork. I’ve seen that he’s been a bit quicker to solve a problem and remember what he was doing. These are the biggest areas I’ve seen. Another plus has been that he’ll sit and focus for a longer period of time.
My son had a TBI (due to an AVM) at the age of 19. We were told about LearningRx and that they were very successful with TBI patients. We attended for 8 months. It was not an easy journey for him, but with his trainer, Will, Dargan and the staff at LearningRX he might not have possibly accomplished what he has done in the past 10 years. Since then he has graduated with an Associate Degree, Bachelor Degree, assistant coach/head coach of his middle school since 2014. Happily married, two beautiful boys, and just passed his physical trainer test.
We have seen a huge improvement in reading fluency and memory. It has helped her with self-confidence. It has been a great experience.

We saw significant improvement in our daughter’s reading ability and fluency and know that it was from the work she did during her sessions at LearningRx. Our daughter started LearningRx being unable to read. She could sound out CVC words but was unable to blend the sounds together to say the word. She is now able to sound out many words, blend them together, and even read words without having to sound them out. She is able to read short stories. She used to dislike going to school as she would get frustrated with being unable to do the work. She now enjoys school and has a great attitude about going.
We have seen great improvement in our child with the methods used by LearningRx in not just academic but also everyday life skills and behavior. It is given us an insight into how her brain works. We are grateful.
My son has dyslexia and was really struggling to read. He not only reads now but reads well and is devouring books! My son also struggles with memory issues among other things, and it’s been so fun to see his memory strengthened and his ability to tell us more things and share more details and even do more things on his own. His confidence absolutely soared after this experience!
Dargan and Michelle were amazing to work with at LearningRx Charlottesville, walking along side us each step of the way and doing everything they could to make our experience a successful one. My daughter and son in-law needed to find a way to get their daughter some help with reading. They spoke with a few friends that had children that attended LearningRx with great success. After the evaluation she started and immediately embraced the learning process. I feel very fortunate to be able to bring her to the classes when I can. I am very impressed with her progress in such a short time. Her goal is to be able to read a chapter book like her siblings mine is just to see her read without out her being embarrassed.
My memory is stronger, and I feel I can make quick and accurate decisions at work, which is very important to me.
The program had a profoundly positive impact on my children—I can clearly see the difference it made. After witnessing my oldest son’s remarkable growth, I knew I had to enroll my daughter as well. My only regret is not having done it sooner.
LearningRx has not only been a game changer in our daughters schoolwork and grades it has also helped her be self-confident. She does not procrastinate on her work and her grades have improved tremendously. She ended her last semester of school with a 3.9 GPA.
My daughter has been doing brain training with Learning Rx for maybe a month and a half now, and to begin with, the assessment alone is a game-changer and gave us clarity regarding some issues we were having with my daughter’s homeschool performance. I have already seen improvement in her reading and comprehension and in her willingness to put forth effort in new tasks. We can’t wait to see what all our amazing girl is capable of at the end of the program.
The performance of the directors was incredibly supportive and very family oriented. Working with both of them to support our child was a privilege and honour. We have noticed that our child is more confident, has an easier time with approaching challenges and is less anxious. Schools do not provide supports like these to help kids who struggle with conventional learning. Always trying to find ways to make things possible and the excellent communication.
What an amazing experience! Our child (8) with ADHD and likely dyslexia had difficulty picking up reading/spelling/language before this program. He is now on track for his age and grade for reading but his memory, focus, and brain stamina have all exponentially expanded. Would highly recommend.

I am so glad that we found LearningRx as it has been a great experience for all of us. It really opened our eyes to the power of the mind and how it can adapt to anything. Definitely would recommend. My son was having a hard time focusing and would daydream a lot. His attitude and confidence started to tank after his grades weren’t matching his siblings. Not too long after we started LearningRx, his attitude started to improve, and he is happier than ever. He is confident and is doing so much better in his schoolwork. He started soccer again and this season he is participating, engaged in the game and scored his first goal this weekend.
Kayson is more confident with his schoolwork and baseball. He is become a better communicator. And his scores on homework has consistently become better. Grateful for what LearningRx training has done for both of our children.
My son has Aspergers and was really hard for him to tell me what happen at school or tell me anything. In the second month I started to notice he was talking more, my sister noticed the same and even one teacher told me this boy is different he is talking way more. Life-Changing Experience at LearningRx Richmond Hill. The brain training exercises used at LearningRx are nothing like traditional tutoring — they are engaging, innovative, and truly transformative. Over time, we noticed that our child became more attentive in school, more willing to do his homework, and, most importantly, more confident in his abilities. His academic skills improved, yes, but the boost in confidence and motivation was what really stood out. The progress he made through this program has been life-changing for our entire family.
When we brought our six year old son to Learning Rx he was in special ed for reading and math. He was spending more time in the principle’s office than in his classroom. He is now in regular class for both reading and math. He has not gone to the principle’s office this school year. When asked why he liked Learning Rx he stated that it helped his brain think like all the other kids. We highly recommend this program. The cost and the time spent is well worth the return.

Working in Education for 18 years, I knew my 9 year old daughter needed something more than a reading tutor.
