I am a medical doctor and like to refer to LearningRx to get to the root causes of learning struggles. We have seen a lot of improvement in reading! Our daughter has met the benchmark so we decided to add extra hours to get her a little further. Our daughter pushed back a bit but her trainers were able to help her get over that phase.

Our 10-year-old son’s life is on a GREAT trajectory thanks to his brain being “re-wired” by the LearningRx program! I am a family nurse practitioner, and I can say their system is unlike any other. In the past, my son would be crying nearly every day after school due to the frustration of being behind and overwhelmed. Now, a year later, he’s a confident young man who enjoys school, loves to learn— and even enjoys taking tests!
I’m definitely seeing improvements in my child’s overall confidence with school. Reading has improved tremendously as well as spelling and handwriting. Organizational skills are also much improved. Our trainer was absolutely amazing! 6th grade is off to a good start!!
Our daughter has enjoyed LearningRx and went from struggling to finish assignments to completing them and doing them correctly. She never wanted to read on her own without prompting and now will pick up books by herself to read. She said this is her best school year so far which is a huge change from the previous years. She is able to remember what is being told to her without having to repeatedly tell her.
I highly recommend Learning Rx. My daughter has just completed the program and has made significant gains across the board. As a result of this, my daughter is completing her work in class and is retaining the information that she has read. The entire staff has been welcoming and encouraging to her. The biggest part is that this homebody has now become a social butterfly. The Learning RX program has been so great for our son. Not only did it build his confidence but it increased his neuro cognitive ability to process things more efficiently. My son has increased his passion for reading and we have seen so much overall improvement.
Will is now interested in reading on his own — he’s diving into books. It’s great to see him grow in this area, where he was not willing to do before. Will has grown in confidence and his self-esteem and is better able to deal with challenges when he’s faced with time.
My son is on the spectrum and doesn’t do well with classroom learning and the environment here has been great for him. If you have a struggling learner and/or reader, I HIGHLY recommend brain training. The more I have learned about tutoring vs brain training, the more I wish I had gotten him here sooner.
My daughter was paired with the perfect coach for her personality, and she grew tremendously where her skills lacked. Amelia’s grades went from C’s, D’s and F’s to A’s and B’s! She’s more confident and doesn’t shy away from reading. Plus, she loves school again.
What an amazing experience! Our child (8) with ADHD and likely dyslexia had difficulty picking up reading/spelling/language before this program. He is now on track for his age and grade for reading but his memory, focus, and brain stamina have all exponentially expanded. Would highly recommend.
As someone who’s had my fair share of bike crashes and TBIs, I can’t emphasize enough how important brain training is. I’ve had the pleasure of hearing Kathi speak to several groups I’m involved with, and she truly knows her stuff when it comes to the brain. If you’re looking to improve memory, focus, or recover from a TBI, you won’t find a more knowledgeable or supportive team out there.
Our son had struggled with ADHD and OCD for many years through school. School continually struggled to meet his needs and adapt to someone that thinks differently. LearningRx has been absolutely life changing in the success of our son. His score improvements was a testament to that. The larger changes we saw were in day to day thinking, problem solving, attention to details, staying on track with a schedule and overall increased confidence was clear. The only thing is I wished we had found LearningRx earlier in his school career.
After he completed the program the first year, his reading significantly improved along with his word attack. He loves to read and this really helped his confidence. I would highly recommend this program for anyone struggling with reading comprehension and math skills, especially if you tried traditional tutoring. This is not a tutoring program, it is building a foundation on how to process skills in order to perform well in all areas of life including school. If you are like us that tried everything and nothing has worked, I would recommend giving LearningRx/Doug Mapp a call and let him help!
LearningRx was a huge help for my daughter. She’s much more confident in math and less likely to give up when facing challenging problems. Her working memory has improved as a whole and she’s more motivated to finish her schoolwork. She really enjoyed working with Lara and I’m grateful for the positive experience overall! My daughter’s experience with Learning Rx has been a journey in gaining confidence, focus, study and comprehension skills. The trainers she worked with were fantastic at keeping her engaged – it was such positive experience for her! She worked with Kyle over the summer and even though she was working hard, he made it fun and kept her happy to be spending some of her vacation developing long-lasting skills. Learning Rx has made such a difference in her self-esteem and school performance!
Fantastic staff and program. Really helped my child on her ability to do schoolwork. This year she has been spending about half as much time on assignments and her memorization is largely improved.
Noah appears to have more patience at home. Prior to classes at LearningRx I felt there were constant “battles” to get homework done, chores at home, and day-to-day requests. If Noah becomes overwhelmed, he is able to communicate that to me in a more positive way.
LearningRx has done SO much to help my child. They worked with him on his level and made accommodations when needed to help him be successful in their program. If it wasn’t for them, he would have fallen behind more in school than he already was. All the staff is very welcoming and made my child and myself feel welcome. We plan on continuing with them for additional programs to help our child become more successful with his education!

I was a student at LearningRx 4.5 years ago in high school and now work in Atlanta full time. I often look back and thank LearningRX for helping me further develop the skills I needed to continuously grow academically and professionally. Because of their very hands-on approach and true passion for helping their students, I would 100% recommend their programs.
I feel his reading comprehension has improved a lot and that was a big struggle coming into the program.
He is reading chapter books and is testing in 80th percentile for math and reading. He is no longer in any interventions support in school. He is now so confident in all areas and I know there is no way we as parents could have gotten him here alone. Learning Rx is more than we hoped for! My son has many learning delays and is partially deaf, and how Ashley has worked with him to get him to process information over the past 6 months is truly an answer to all of our years of trying to help him. I completed a 6 month course of brain training with LearningRX…I found Dargan through the Stroke Comback club after his presentation there and I was hooked. I suffered a second stroke…and had to stop working as a Registered Nurse…Because of the stroke, I suffered memory and concentration issues and even lost reading and writing ability. LearningRX gave me the confidence to live on my own independently.

For us it’s not about improving his grade so much as his toolbox to be independent and in control of his studies and being inspired to do his best. Christen is such a wonderful guide for him – funny, motivating and kind. She has figured out his personality and designs the program to suit him. He willingly tears himself from his video games to come to class which is no small thing. We are really happy we found LearningRx and find it worth every penny.
Since starting LearningRx, my children have gained confidence within themselves as well as their schoolwork. Their grades have improved, and schoolwork (homework) is not dreadful task like before. My children have also become more responsible. Not only at school, but at home as well,
Our son was struggling with reading comprehension, and this was affecting many subjects as he entered middle school. He would study for tests and work on homework for hours at night. The grades he received did not reflect the work he was putting in which led to much frustration. Tutoring and extra help at school did not seem to help. Once we met with Tiffany and she explained the LearningRx model and how it was different from tutoring, we felt it was exactly what our son needed. And wow…did we see fast results.
This has been a great experience. I’ve seen improvements within 2-3 weeks in starting and has excelled. I’m glad there’s a center like this to take the time to teach at such a level that kids need!
