The improvements in my child’s reading skills and confidence that she has gained, a result of the LearningRx training. My child has gained so much confidence in her reading skills. She is no longer scared to pronounce words or make a mistake. She jumps right into each assignment without hesitating.
I went through the program as an adult looking to improve my reading and cognitive skills, and the test results proved that it worked. The out-of-pocket cost can be a bit daunting, but if it’s feasible, it provides many hours of one-on-one training to enhance your brain skills.
Learning Rx is more than we hoped for! My son has many learning delays and is partially deaf, and how Ashley has worked with him to get him to process information over the past 6 months is truly an answer to all of our years of trying to help him. LearningRX has been a blessing to my son. JR had a sports related concussion in March of 2019. He was in the 8th grade and had forgotten simple things in life. I didn’t know how he would finish out his 8th grade year…I came across LearningRX and after the first week or two he could tell that his memory getting better. My son has gained confidence, his memory, and the stamina to work for longer periods of time. JR finished his 8th grade year with straight A’s and was accepted in to the Information and Technology program at high school. A huge thank you to LearnRX and Mr Richard!!!
We could not recommend this program enough. They worked with us virtually as we were out of state. We wouldn’t have been able to do it if they didn’t have that flexibility. It requires a lot of work on the participants’ part, but we have seen our son grow leaps and bounds in his ability to read and enjoyment of it. It’s worth the investment

When I first came to LearningRx I was not sure they could help me. I had not learned how to focus and I had real problems with math—all kinds. Then I began to see results of the training as did others around me. The most drastic results were noticed by my math tutor. She could not believe the focus and memory that I now had.
Dargan and Michelle were amazing to work with at LearningRx Charlottesville, walking along side us each step of the way and doing everything they could to make our experience a successful one. The reason why I could succeed was that I was on ADHD medication, but the medication made me extremely depressed and enraged all of the time. When I stopped taking it, I was filled with great joy because of my newfound freedom. But something was still wrong. Without the medication, I forgot the first part of the sentence by the end of the second part of the sentence. My imagination never turned off, and despite going to school an hour early and tutoring for an hour after school, I barely passed with Cs. Then I enrolled in LearningRx. Within three months, I was on fire. I could concentrate, handle awkward social situations, find motivation, put my creative ideas in paper. I attacked school with newfound strength. Last year I was the slowest kid in the class, but this year I am one of the fastest and smartest.
I loved this place because the people that teach it create a fun environment, the games that are incorporated are really fun to play while also learning a lot through them too!
I can not thank Michelle enough for all of your help with my son! I was extremely nervous about my son starting middle school. He did such an amazing job navigating around zoom. He is self-starting, helping his classmates and feeling confident. If it wasn’t for Learning RX I feel his new way of learning would have a much different outcome.

The skills that my daughter developed while working with Francesca are invaluable. My daughter’s improved reading skills alone are life changing; they will affect nearly every class she attends, and will probably affect her career choice. Her improved attention and listening abilities have reduced her frustration with school subjects, and thus make her more compliant. She doesn’t panic when she can’t immediately decode a word or grasp a concept. She has learned that there are strategies to make these challenges manageable.
This is an awesome program, my daughter was diagnosed with dyslexia and LearningRx really helped her to improve in her reading and her self-esteem skyrocketed. Chloe’s behavior has gotten better in the classroom and her grades greatly improved. Donesa Walker and her staff are amazing. I would recommend this program if you wanted to see your child improve in the classroom.

Eventually, I started to enjoy coming in and started to see improvements myself. Throughout the program, I felt like my spelling got better and many other things. Most of the trainers were very nice. Although training was 1.5 hours long, it felt like it flew by because not only are the drills effective, but they are also fun and challenging. My son used to not be able to multitask. Now he can listen to music while working and listen to our conversation in the next room all at the same time. My son used to not be able to remember a two-step direction.
