Working in Education for 18 years, I knew my 9 year old daughter needed something more than a reading tutor. Learning Rx provided an opportunity for her to retrain her brain versus getting academic support. This intensive cognitive reset is worth every minute and is simply invaluable. Her confidence and self esteem in the classroom has improved significantly and her focus and attention while reading is dramatic. The team in Woodbury was responsive, effective, and ensured that my daughter felt loved, inspired, and successful.
The confidence he has gained, even during the difficult parts. Everybody is always so positive and uplifting. He is better at sticking to the difficult parts and can himself see his own improvements. Logan has improved almost 2 full grade levels in reading. He has more stamina for reading. He is retaining math information better, and knows he is now ‘really good’ at math.
We are just a month or so in to my boys training, and I have already seen significant improvement. We chose to do the home training a couple hours a week, which I wasn’t sure was going to be doable. Although some weeks are more of a challenge than others, we have been able to accomplish it every week so far. I prayed for weeks for the Lord to show me what I needed to do for my boys, and He led me to Learning RX in an overwhelming way.
I highly recommend it because it has allowed me to take more control over my life because my brain is functioning more efficiently. That makes everything better! I am so pleased with my results from LearningRx. I went from being frustrated with how my brain worked and feeling like I was “stupid” to gaining confidence in my abilities to manage tasks. Although I’m an adult, I greatly benefit from my training at LearningRx! After 6 months of training 3 days a week, I’m noticing I’m starting to calculate numbers in my head, which is huge since I was diagnosed with dyscalculia in my early 20’s! I’m even finding myself visualizing my next turn when driving, something I could never do before my training! LearningRx is helpful for all ages! I only wish I found them sooner!
Learning RX has been such an amazing experience for my 7 year old son who most likely has dyslexia. We are so happy with the results and are amazed at how reading is now so much easier for him than it was before. He can now effortlessly blend 3 letter words together whereas before he started training there he could hardly blend 2 letter words and hated reading. Now it’s coming much easier and his confidence is high and reading is much more enjoyable!

My son is making better grades; he is doing well at school when he chooses to do his assignments. He is trying new things and doesn’t shut down as easily.
My son is on the spectrum and doesn’t do well with classroom learning and the environment here has been great for him. If you have a struggling learner and/or reader, I HIGHLY recommend brain training. The more I have learned about tutoring vs brain training, the more I wish I had gotten him here sooner.
Following a hospital stay for long Covid, I became aware that LearningRx was offering a program to help clients that had experienced this disease. The program was creative, and I actually enjoyed the cognitive challenge of each session as I advanced thru the skills . Following this program I feel that I am now much more productive than I use to be and it’s easier to adjust to changes in routines.

Ashley was absolutely wonderful for my son Jack. She was so patient with him and seemed to know exactly how to encourage him in the moment. I saw my son go from someone who spiraled in his thoughts to be able to think clearly and analyze them in a gentle way. He’s more confident in himself and how he expresses his emotions conversationally and internally. Very happy with the outcome.
I am so thankful for Kathi and LearningRx! I was able to get my mom’s memory assessed and it was better than we hoped. My son was reluctant to sign up, but became more engaged once he started making progress. Further along in Learning RX, he became a self starter with his school work and could stay on task for longer periods of time with his improved focus, and ability to tackle more difficult material.
The trainers were excellent and helped Lucas improve so much in processing speed and logic. LearningRx has helped our son so much in improving his processing speed, focus and memory.

It was amazing how this brain training positively affected every aspect of my 8-year old’s life, from comprehending what he read to learning and speaking to building confidence in himself and working through the meltdowns rather than shutting down. Homework time, discipline time, and times of losing are also a lot easier with new understanding. All of which will make his life lessons, now and in the future, easier to adapt to and learn from!
Will is now interested in reading on his own — he’s diving into books. It’s great to see him grow in this area, where he was not willing to do before. Will has grown in confidence and his self-esteem and is better able to deal with challenges when he’s faced with time.
LearningRx’s program is absolutely amazing and has made such a HUGE impact on our daughters’ life. When our daughter started this program, at 6 years old, she could barely recognize/recall the alphabet or count past 10 and now, at 7 years old, she is able to read 4 letter words and do difficult addition math problems. She went from having zero confidence in the classroom and trying to hide, to occasionally raising her hand to answer questions. Not only is the program amazing but so are the staff. They all truly care about every student and want to make sure everyone succeeds.
We started learningRX during the beginning of the pandemic and it really helped my son stay focused during a time of chaos. My son really connects with his instructor, Austin. I highly recommend him if you have a little boy with lots of energy. Austin always makes the sessions fun!
My son has Aspergers and was really hard for him to tell me what happen at school or tell me anything. In the second month I started to notice he was talking more, my sister noticed the same and even one teacher told me this boy is different he is talking way more. This is the main progress that I appreciate about this program, he gained more confidence too.
Very helpful for children with learning differences. My son has gained confidence with his math skills and is actually proud of his work he brings home from school. He has not only gained academic confidence but also has gained a lot of confidence in his social life as well. He is not as reserved and shy and continues to be more happy all around. He has blossomed and is now finding the positives in all aspects of schooling and is happy to go now!
