He plans ahead, he’s less reactive to adverse situations, less impulsive with decision making. He seems a lot more mature. And of course, he is reading voluntarily now!

Now I can finally read and sound out words! I can now read because of Mrs. Donesa and the LearningRx program! Before LearningRx, I thought I was just dumb! Some kids made fun of me because I could not read our sound out words. I did not like myself very much. Now I do! I can now participate in classes at school and church and not be embarrassed or afraid to read out loud or give answers like the other students. I am finally making decent grades! Now my mom cries when I read to her because I can read!
The Learning RX model and coaches have proved to be the missing link we have been hoping for to help close the gaps in our son’s cognitive performance. My 24 year old daughter has Down Syndrome…Before Learning RX my daughter had tried many ways to learn to read, and she would always get stuck on blending words. We enrolled in LearningRx because we wanted him to have all the tools to be successful in life. We noticed differences and results in many ways throughout the program. His PSAT score jumped 100 points with 90 of the points being in the reading/comprehension section and he achieved Academic Dean’s List. More importantly, he noticed the difference. School became easier, he elaborates more whereas before answers to questions were brief, he is more confident, and as added bonus, it has helped him in basketball and baseball.

Eventually, I started to enjoy coming in and started to see improvements myself. Throughout the program, I felt like my spelling got better and many other things. Most of the trainers were very nice. Although training was 1.5 hours long, it felt like it flew by because not only are the drills effective, but they are also fun and challenging. This is an awesome program, my daughter was diagnosed with dyslexia and LearningRx really helped her to improve in her reading and her self-esteem skyrocketed. Our brain trainer with LearningRx Texarkana was amazing and we had the best results with increased scores in all areas of her education.
Noah appears to have more patience at home. Prior to classes at LearningRx I felt there were constant “battles” to get homework done, chores at home, and day-to-day requests. If Noah becomes overwhelmed, he is able to communicate that to me in a more positive way.
Kenlee was really struggling as a student going into the 2nd grade. She was homeschooled and is going back to public school. She was reading on a kinder level and now, within 6 months, she is on grade level. Her confidence is also great!

Development of confidence in learning and perseverance. During the process there was always the concern of preserving confidence and self-esteem while learning and meeting new challenges. The staff were always patient, helpful, and kind.
Our son’s trainer worked really hard to improve his reading and processing skills. Although his behavior was challenging at times, his trainer persevered. We are grateful for all of the one-on-one attention.
