Our son and us were fortunate to have found LearningRx to help him with so many important aspects of his everyday life. He eagerly attended 107 brain training sessions that he gave his best effort, energy and determination to get the most out of every minute he was there. I completed a 6 month course of brain training with LearningRX…I found Dargan through the Stroke Comback club after his presentation there and I was hooked. I suffered a second stroke…and had to stop working as a Registered Nurse…Because of the stroke, I suffered memory and concentration issues and even lost reading and writing ability. LearningRX gave me the confidence to live on my own independently.
After completing a 20-week program, we’ve seen great improvements in her abilities at school. She is better able to stay focused and deal with distractions, something that had previously been a challenge. Her confidence has soared and this boost in self-assurance has been evident in all areas of her academic and social life. Math, which once felt like a constant struggle, has become much easier for her. She now handles math facts with greater ease and working through her math homework no longer causes the same frustration.

I just finished training my brain with LearningRx and took my post assessment this week. Y’all, my scores went UP in every cognitive function category! I can concentrate all day on many different tasks and not get distracted or fatigued. I have always had to juggle many many things as an independent contractor and now I feel on top of all of them! My daughter has been a part of this program for over 3 months, and we’ve seen tremendous growth and development since she started. Hearing the news that your daughter has dyslexia is quite frightening. As a parent all you see is your bright, beautiful, and perfect little girl. Your first thought is fear, but then you want to help. Reaching out to LearningRx was the best academic decision we could have ever made for her. My son has dyslexia and was really struggling to read. He not only reads now but reads well and is devouring books! Following a hospital stay for long Covid, I became aware that LearningRx was offering a program to help clients that had experienced this disease. The program was creative, and I actually enjoyed the cognitive challenge of each session as I advanced thru the skills . The skills that my daughter developed while working with Francesca are invaluable. My daughter’s improved reading skills alone are life changing; they will affect nearly every class she attends, and will probably affect her career choice. Her improved attention and listening abilities have reduced her frustration with school subjects, and thus make her more compliant. She doesn’t panic when she can’t immediately decode a word or grasp a concept. She has learned that there are strategies to make these challenges manageable.

On the recommendation of a friend, we turned to LearningRx Richmond Hill. Khai and Jeri conducted a thorough assessment and designed a personalized training plan tailored to my daughter’s needs. A special thanks to trainer Prudence, whose expertise and enthusiasm made learning an enjoyable experience for her. The one-on-one training was highly targeted, and we saw noticeable improvements in a short period of time. After more than a year of training, she has now caught up with her peers—exceeding our expectations!
The program had a profoundly positive impact on my children—I can clearly see the difference it made. After witnessing my oldest son’s remarkable growth, I knew I had to enroll my daughter as well. My only regret is not having done it sooner.
When we brought our six year old son to Learning Rx he was in special ed for reading and math. He was spending more time in the principle’s office than in his classroom. He is now in regular class for both reading and math. He has not gone to the principle’s office this school year. When asked why he liked Learning Rx he stated that it helped his brain think like all the other kids. We highly recommend this program. The cost and the time spent is well worth the return.
The biggest change we saw in him was his ability to listen, focus and pay attention. He is now able to keep himself on task and focused on what he is doing while also listening to those around him. He has been able to listen and not need for it to be repeated, while also retaining what he heard to apply or question it later.
