Hearing the news that your daughter has dyslexia is quite frightening. As a parent all you see is your bright, beautiful, and perfect little girl. Your first thought is fear, but then you want to help. Reaching out to LearningRx was the best academic decision we could have ever made for her. They have the sweetest staff, and we were blessed with the best trainer. She has truly transformed my daughter to a reader. Her confidence level when reading has tripled. Through all of the whining and complaining, they pushed through.
Since coming to LearningRx, our daughter has gained confidence and independence. While doing homework or practice worksheets, she used to fight to avoid the work and now eagerly sits down to work on things. Since LearningRx started with our daughter, we have gone from her being below national standards to now being on track. Carol, her LearningRx teacher has been amazing with our daughter – keeping her on-task and when our daughter is not focusing, she has immediately been able to redirect her and get her back on track.

My son struggled hard with reading. The approach to learning has helped him flourish. His reading comprehension is by and far improved, and he is reading whole pages without stumbling. Highly recommend for all ages and learning styles, for ADD/ADHD and other learning disabilities. It’s one thing for us to be proud of his progress, but it’s something wholly different for him to be proud and confident.
LearningRx has a positive and fun environment that makes learning fun for my 8-year-old who needs help with reading. All the staff are friendly and care about each individual child. In just a few short months I have seen a more positive attitude and more self confidence in my son.
The skills that my daughter developed while working with Francesca are invaluable. My daughter’s improved reading skills alone are life changing; they will affect nearly every class she attends, and will probably affect her career choice. LearningRx was our saving grace. I searched high and low for services like this and finally found them. My son was struggling so bad in school and was so far behind his peers. He not only lacked the educational ability, but he lacked confidence. For the last year and a half, he went here and they built his confidence beyond what I could ever imagine. After suffering an acquired brain injury, I never thought I’d hear my son read. But thanks to the wonderful staff at LearningRx he is now reading and excited to learn.

I started LearningRx knowing what it can do having been a past trainee and was specific about developing my short term and long-term memory and ability to process information faster. I graduated with a very noticeably improved mind. I can read my bank routing and remember it now. I recall people’s names, and I can hear a joke and remember it 4 hours later. I used to struggle with groups of information and now I can process it and make it work for me!
This place is such a gem! North Louisiana is blessed to have such a top notch facility to help children and families overcome any and all learning challenges. My son is enjoying reading for the first time ever! And is not even half way through his program. Donesa is the most wonderful person to work with. And all the trainers are qualified and trained. Such a blessing.
We saw improvements in math, logic and reasoning, spelling, comprehension and processing speed. Rikki attends a school with a rigorous curriculum, and she is putting more effort into her work now that things have improved.
My son participated in a shortened version of training (out of the kindness of Gina’s heart) and my son tested with phenomenal results of improvements in every area. Absolutely amazing!

Great program! My son completed about 4 months of the program and made such a huge change! I wasn’t for sure until I saw the numbers go up! The program director Mrs Donesa was great and very accommodating! My son’s instructor was also great as well, they align the kids to who suits them best, which is great! I would highly recommend.
As homeschoolers, we were stuck in several areas of her studies and couldn’t figure out what was missing. After putting her through the program, not only did her problem-solving skills improve, but there was also peace in teaching her again because things were connecting that never had before! Daniel had difficulty learning material and was not getting the support he needed in the school system. After he trained his attention, memory, comprehension and more got better. He still is not at grade level but his ability to learn is improved. The center, director and trainer were always supportive of our needs. They worked very hard to help Daniel and showed a lot of patience.

What stood out the most for me in the program was the staff’s commitment and dedication to student success. I have never seen him so excited to do something related to academics, mostly because his confidence had been broken by test scores that did not reflect his effort. Now, he has the confidence to know he can achieve the results he desires.
