I highly recommend the Atlanta Buckhead location of LearningRX! My child went through the cognitive training LearningRX program this year. LearningRX gives a pre- and post-test in a number of different areas and, relative to the pre-test, my child’s post-test showed tremendous, quantified improvement in almost every category that was part of the program! My child’s tutor, Christen, was amazing – smart, assertive with giving the right amount of push, adaptive, highly communicative, encouraging and dedicated!
Deciding to proceed with LearningRx turned out to be an excellent choice. By the spring of first grade, Mason showed significant improvements in sitting still, focusing, and remembering tasks, confirmed both at school and home. The best part was Mason expressing his newfound ability to focus and enjoy more free time at school thanks to LearningRx.
They gave my daughter coping skills for her ADHD, and improved her quality of life by showing her how to focus, listen, and learn. My daughter can focus in school, her grades improved, she listens well at home. She can get multiple instructions in a row and follow them all. She is more confident and handles overstimulating situations better.

LearningRx has made such a difference in the lives of my children. My oldest daughter wanted to give high school a try (she is homeschooled). She was a bit nervous because she thought that she might not be able to keep pace with the other students due to her dyslexia. LearningRx gave her the confidence to try. She had taken and excelled in college-level science and math courses in 8th grade, but struggled to remember and apply a lot of the basic math she had learned. Despite our initial skepticism about whether LearningRx could make a big difference for such a good student, after just a few months at LearningRx, her ability to retain and use mathematical knowledge really took off. Her focus, clarity, speed, precision of understanding, and ability to solve problems quickly and accurately absolutely rocketed.

My son was struggling with his grades and overall understanding of what he was learning at school. We tried a few tutoring programs, but we knew immediately that just a rote learning wouldn’t make long lasting changes and it’s something we can do at home too. After the first assessment at LearningRx, we knew that was what we were looking for. Shortly after we started the program, we saw a big jump in his attitude towards learning. He was motivated, willing to try over and over again and much more acceptant of what he was lacking.

I was one overwhelmed parent after being told my daughter was suspected as having dyslexia by her school, which followed up with “we won’t be able to get her where she needs to be in reading”, essentially. I had seen the LearningRx sign before, so that was my first call. I had a lot of questions! The front desk (Jordan) was so very helpful at giving me as much information as she could before meeting us. We have now finished our brain training plan and are so happy with the results!

Kenlee was really struggling as a student going into the 2nd grade. She had only been homeschooled. No matter what skills I tried, she was only reading on a kindergarten level and now within 6 months she is on grade level. Her confidence has grown, she is more focused during task, and her behavior is better.
Hazel started out unwilling to even try when it came to learning. Now, after completing her program at LearningRx she happily completes her homework and comes home from school excited to tell me all about what she learned! Not only have her academic skills improved but her self confidence and her willingness to TRY something new has improved as well.

Our daughter got the attention and skills she needed to become successful in school. She’s very young and we are glad we got the training she needed at an early age.

I can’t put into words how absolutely grateful I am for Kathi and Doug sincerely. I sustained several injuries including a closed-head injury when a nail gun fell off of a roof and hit me directly on the head…I started with an initial 18-week program and could see the impact. So much so I extended the contract – I am currently over a year now as a client and I couldn’t have asked for a better brain trainer. I highly recommend for anyone recovering from injuries similar to mine.

When we brought our six year old son to Learning Rx he was in special ed for reading and math. He was spending more time in the principle’s office than in his classroom. He is now in regular class for both reading and math. He has not gone to the principle’s office this school year. When asked why he liked Learning Rx he stated that it helped his brain think like all the other kids. We highly recommend this program. The cost and the time spent is well worth the return.
Reading level has gone up. I have also noticed a huge improvement in Holden’s vocabulary. He still takes a while to process things but his ability to process thoughts has significantly improved.
LearningRX has been a life altering / trajectory changing life decision for our son!!! The freedom he now has with his brain and processing skills is awesome! This program has really helped him believe in himself when it comes to trying something new or doing something he’s scared to do, or that’s just plain hard. His brain can quickly process the situation and engage in what needs to get done. He doesn’t get as frustrated when doing schoolwork. He’s always had issues with fine motor skills like doing buttons. Brain training has helped with that too, and now he’s able to do his own buttons on his clothes. Everyone could benefit from these services and this program.
Our daughter was really struggling and we were concerned that she may not move to the next grade in school. Not only has LearningRx given her the mental exercises to improve, but it has given her the tools that she can utilize in learning at home and at school that will allow her to be successful in her future. She has moved from a place of defeat and sometimes despair to one of being hopeful and having plans for her future. She has learned that she can do hard things.
Learning RX has been very beneficial for my 11 year old. I can see improvements already (just about 3 months) with her memory, attention and focus.
