After doing so much research and not seeing any hope to help my son, I stumbled across LearningRx. We were skeptical but really put our faith in Gina and the program. Over the past 8 months, my son’s grades have increased, he’s a better student, and his confidence level has increased. For two or three years I knew something wasn’t right. The school kept telling me that he was at grade level and that it was okay. But it wasn’t okay, because he would avoid reading. We came [to LearningRx] in September and thy confirmed he had an auditory processing problem. It feels like the pressure is off my shoulders.
LearningRx Eden Prairie outperformed our expectations! I was honestly a bit skeptical about it at first but going in talking to Baird understanding how they approached things all made sense. LearningRx is the only effective tutoring method, and both my kids have made huge improvements. I have noticed a big change in my son’s reading; he is on an IEP and wasn’t making much progress, even though the district is taking credit and saying he is making progress with his current IEP, he lacked intervention from the district. I still believed that without outside support, he would not make any improvement.
Our daughter was really struggling and we were concerned that she may not move to the next grade in school. Learning RX has been such an amazing experience for my 7 year old son who most likely has dyslexia. We are so happy with the results and are amazed at how reading is now so much easier for him than it was before. He can now effortlessly blend 3 letter words together whereas before he started training there he could hardly blend 2 letter words and hated reading. Now it’s coming much easier and his confidence is high and reading is much more enjoyable!
Deciding to proceed with LearningRx turned out to be an excellent choice. By the spring of first grade, Mason showed significant improvements in sitting still, focusing, and remembering tasks, confirmed both at school and home. We could not recommend this program enough. They worked with us virtually as we were out of state. We wouldn’t have been able to do it if they didn’t have that flexibility. We came in looking for additional help, especially in reading, for our son who is so bright but was struggling with his schoolwork. The assessment affirmed what we thought as far as some cognitive skills which needed strengthening. I homeschool so I’ve been able to give him tons of one-on-one tutoring, but the improvement has been so slow. We are so excited about his progress and believe we have found just the right tool to make the bridges in his mind and give him the help he needs. Very thankful to have found this place!
Our son is 12 years old and has dyslexia. He has a awful time concentrating and reading. This program is just what he needed. My 24 year old daughter has Down Syndrome…Before Learning RX my daughter had tried many ways to learn to read, and she would always get stuck on blending words. Learning RX’s expertise on the brain and learning has proved that my daughter can read. She can blend words now and she’s believing in herself and gaining skills to help her into a more independent life. We are making huge strides just within 3 months!!
Our son came into the program while in grade 1 with significant anxiety when it came to his class performance. This was most striking when it came to reading. There were concerns with ADHD and possibly dyslexia. He is listening better and his reading has taken huge strides forward. You can see how this has improved his confidence.

Now I can finally read and sound out words! I can now read because of Mrs. Donesa and the LearningRx program! Before LearningRx, I thought I was just dumb! Some kids made fun of me because I could not read our sound out words. I did not like myself very much. Now I do! I can now participate in classes at school and church and not be embarrassed or afraid to read out loud or give answers like the other students. I am finally making decent grades! Now my mom cries when I read to her because I can read!

Everyone has worked so super great with our son and made sure he had everything he needed to work with. Our son has fine motor skills problems and before going to LearningRx you could not read his writing. After his trainer Ms. Diana worked with him on his writing skills and hand muscles; we could not believe how well his writing improved.

My daughter has more fluency and confidence now when she reads, but most of all, she is reading! She totes several books in her bookbag to and from school to read during down-time at school and at home. Reading is no longer seen as a chore and there is no longer the same struggle we had before starting this program.
We have two children who are half way through the program and so far we are pleased with the results. LearningRx has been a benefit to our son in many ways. It’s helped him learn to read and to be able to learn better all around. His teacher Allie was very committed and put a lot of effort into teaching him. She was firm but did her best to make it fun for him.
