Now I can finally read and sound out words! I can now read because of Mrs. Donesa and the LearningRx program! Before LearningRx, I thought I was just dumb! Some kids made fun of me because I could not read our sound out words. I did not like myself very much. Now I do! I can now participate in classes at school and church and not be embarrassed or afraid to read out loud or give answers like the other students. I am finally making decent grades! Now my mom cries when I read to her because I can read!
The staff was the best. They were always helpful, caring and engaging. We have seen sustained focus during homework and better memory to assist with multi step math problems.

The biggest change we saw in him was his ability to listen, focus and pay attention. He is now able to keep himself on task and focused on what he is doing while also listening to those around him. He has been able to listen and not need for it to be repeated, while also retaining what he heard to apply or question it later.
My son started at LearningRx struggling with letter recognition and letter sounds. After just 30 sessions, he is reading and testing above average for his age and grade. The trainers genuinely care, and Gina really helped us understand where our son was struggling, and where improvement was needed. Seeing our son build his confidence and now thriving academically has been such a blessing. 100% recommend LearningRx.
LearningRx is the only effective tutoring method, and both my kids have made huge improvements. I have noticed a big change in my son’s reading; he is on an IEP and wasn’t making much progress, even though the district is taking credit and saying he is making progress with his current IEP, he lacked intervention from the district. I still believed that without outside support, he would not make any improvement.
Overall a fantastic experience. The owner and her team are all great people to work with and most importantly my son showed lots of progress and truly enjoyed it.

I really appreciated how LearningRx was one-on-one interactive, tailored to our needs, and progressed based on my child’s performance. I appreciated how LearningRx used both evidence-based approaches along with a custom approach tailored specifically to our needs. Since starting the program, we have noticed that my son seems more confident in certain areas – in school his self-esteem, his ability to do tasks, and his attention at times seems to be more sustained, and his grades improved.
We are just a month or so in to my boys training, and I have already seen significant improvement. We chose to do the home training a couple hours a week, which I wasn’t sure was going to be doable. Although some weeks are more of a challenge than others, we have been able to accomplish it every week so far. I prayed for weeks for the Lord to show me what I needed to do for my boys, and He led me to Learning RX in an overwhelming way.

Our 10-year-old son’s life is on a GREAT trajectory thanks to his brain being “re-wired” by the LearningRx program! I am a family nurse practitioner, and I can say their system is unlike any other. In the past, my son would be crying nearly every day after school due to the frustration of being behind and overwhelmed. Now, a year later, he’s a confident young man who enjoys school, loves to learn— and even enjoys taking tests!

When my son first started his cognitive training at LearningRx in February 2024, his speech and conversation reciprocity was very limited. Memory recall was an extreme challenge for him and his ability to reason and think things through were difficult tasks. Olivia, his trainer, is simply amazing! She was able to build a wonderful rapport with my son which is not easy given his challenges due to Autism. He has had many different therapists over the past 10 years, and no one has been able to reach him and teach him like Olivia has done.
I saw a tremendous increase in my daughter’s confidence! She was always there to help, offer additional resources and even do some trainings. She was a huge advocate for my daughter!
The director is very down to earth and reasonable. He cares about the students and is always ready to listen to the concerns of the parents. He is someone I can trust with my child. I recommend this program very highly for any child or young adult who may be struggling in any area.

From our first conversations with LearningRx staff, the assessment process, starting our training schedule to now where we have established a routine, we have felt well informed and cared for by the staff. We receive frequent progress check ins and can observe training sessions anytime we like. The LearningRx staff do a great job with the range of diverse learners and seem to find ways to keep them all engaged. We would definitely recommend the Shoreview location to any family who does not know where to turn next to support their child’s educational roadblocks.

The improvements my son experienced were undeniable and I think their program is very well done. My son was really struggling with auditory processing issues and he was spiraling at home and school. LearningRx not only identified what his issues were, but they explained them in such a way that took the fear out of the unknown.
We started learningRX during the beginning of the pandemic and it really helped my son stay focused during a time of chaos. My son really connects with his instructor, Austin. I highly recommend him if you have a little boy with lots of energy. Austin always makes the sessions fun!

We enrolled in LearningRx because we wanted him to have all the tools to be successful in life. We noticed differences and results in many ways throughout the program. His PSAT score jumped 100 points with 90 of the points being in the reading/comprehension section and he achieved Academic Dean’s List. More importantly, he noticed the difference. School became easier, he elaborates more whereas before answers to questions were brief, he is more confident, and as added bonus, it has helped him in basketball and baseball.

Definitely would recommend. My son was having a hard time focusing and would daydream a lot. His attitude and confidence started to tank after his grades weren’t matching his siblings. Not too long after we started LearningRx, his attitude started to improve, and he is happier than ever. He is confident and is doing so much better in his schoolwork. He started soccer again and this season he is participating, engaged in the game and scored his first goal this weekend.

After he completed the program the first year, his reading significantly improved along with his word attack. He loves to read and this really helped his confidence.
