Since coming to LearningRx, our daughter has gained confidence and independence. While doing homework or practice worksheets, she used to fight to avoid the work and now eagerly sits down to work on things. Since LearningRx started with our daughter, we have gone from her being below national standards to now being on track. Our son had struggled with ADHD and OCD for many years through school. School continually struggled to meet his needs and adapt to someone that thinks differently. LearningRx has been absolutely life changing in the success of our son. His score improvements was a testament to that. The larger changes we saw were in day to day thinking, problem solving, attention to details, staying on track with a schedule and overall increased confidence was clear. This program has been incredible for both our daughters. Desmond has been known in school for his high intelligence and ability to catch on to concepts and even help his peers understand. I can’t possibly say enough about LearningRx Columbus. They have been absolutely amazing with my son. He struggles with memory and overall processing information. He isn’t done with the program and I am already seeing such a huge difference. What’s also amazing is that he likes it. He does the program over zoom twice a week.
My daughter struggled with math, reading, spelling, and memorization. After her training at Learning Rx, all of those skills have improved, and she has great self-confidence! This program has changed her entire future!
My 24 year old daughter has Down Syndrome…Before Learning RX my daughter had tried many ways to learn to read, and she would always get stuck on blending words. This is an evidence-based training that was conducted with the utmost organization and professionalism and resulted in appreciable improvements in my child’s school performance but more importantly, on his well-being. This was money well invested. I had contact with four different staff members, all very knowledgeable and professional. My child’s trainer was fantastic. Our son is 8 years old and has struggled since 3 years old to focus. Starting to learn to read and figuring out letters has been very difficult…Mel is motivating to him and continues to push him to his potential. In the first month the change we saw in our son’s focus was jaw dropping!..Within 3 months of beginning the program our son has started to read full homework page assignments and complete them on his own! Mel and this program has completely changed our lives to which we will be eternally grateful.
My son is on the spectrum and doesn’t do well with classroom learning and the environment here has been great for him. If you have a struggling learner and/or reader, I HIGHLY recommend brain training. The more I have learned about tutoring vs brain training, the more I wish I had gotten him here sooner.
