LearningRx has been the best thing we have decided to do for our kids. We have both of our kids in an individual program, 8-year-old daughter and 11-year-old son. Our son has dyslexia and ADHD. He has struggled in school even with an IEP at school and other touting outside of school. He has had so many achievements this school year. Our daughter was just a little behind grade level. She has caught up and is enjoying school for the first time.
We’ve noticed an increase in confidence in himself. He seems to trust his abilities more than he used to. He is able to listen to directions better and seems more able to hear them. He is more excited about school and learning. LearningRx has been a great experience for him!

Hazel started out unwilling to even try when it came to learning. My son’s reading scores have raised several levels since completing his brain training course. His main takeaway was he is a lot less reactive and impulsive in his behavior. This was my main reasoning for trying out this program. He slows down and thinks about things before reacting to things and that has been a HUGE win for us!

For two or three years I knew something wasn’t right. The school kept telling me that he was at grade level and that it was okay. But it wasn’t okay, because he would avoid reading. We came [to LearningRx] in September and thy confirmed he had an auditory processing problem. It feels like the pressure is off my shoulders.

This program has been very beneficial for my daughter and the main reason for that is her trainer Mo. My daughter made an incredible amount of growth in her skills while at LearningRx, but even more than that, her confidence is soaring. When we used to go to the library, Piper would come home empty handed. Yesterday she brought home a book with over 300 pages–her confidence is that high. LearningRx has been incredible for our son. He was struggling in math, memorizing information for tests, and struggling to pay attention in class. My boys are about 3 months into their training and they are both starting to notice improvements. They both notice that it is easier to read and focus/understand what they are reading. One of my boys plays sports and he has even noticed a difference while playing. He has noticed he is able to focus on multiple aspects of the game which is something he has always struggled with. I’m excited to see the differences they notice when they go back to school.
Life-Changing Experience at LearningRx Richmond Hill. The brain training exercises used at LearningRx are nothing like traditional tutoring — they are engaging, innovative, and truly transformative. Over time, we noticed that our child became more attentive in school, more willing to do his homework, and, most importantly, more confident in his abilities. His academic skills improved, yes, but the boost in confidence and motivation was what really stood out. The progress he made through this program has been life-changing for our entire family.
Our son has improved his reading, writing and math over the course of the last 6 months with brain training. Before we started working with LearningRx our son was very resistant to working on improving in these areas because he lacked the confidence in his skills. We now see him sharing his accomplishments with others, and more willing to work independently and receive help when needed. We could not be happier with the results of brain training.
What stood out the most for me in the program was the staff’s commitment and dedication to student success. I have never seen him so excited to do something related to academics, mostly because his confidence had been broken by test scores that did not reflect his effort. Now, he has the confidence to know he can achieve the results he desires.
From the moment I contacted Maureen to the last day, communication was clear, prompt, and professional. Our concerns about Omar were addressed, and a clear plan of action was given to us. A huge bonus was that Omar actually looked forward to going to see his teacher Tully and later Katie. On several occasions, I’ve heard Omar telling his friends how LearningRx is the best kind of tutoring he’s had because it’s “actually fun.”
He is reading chapter books and is testing in 80th percentile for math and reading. He is no longer in any interventions support in school. He is now so confident in all areas and I know there is no way we as parents could have gotten him here alone. I would recommend any parent to embrace this program and allow it to help support your child!
Our son and us were fortunate to have found LearningRx to help him with so many important aspects of his everyday life. He eagerly attended 107 brain training sessions that he gave his best effort, energy and determination to get the most out of every minute he was there. Our son has seen so many improvements, I can’t list them all here, but I’ll highlight a few of the most important ones – many around improvements to his safety. His ability to focus, concentrate and speed processing could not be more different than when he started.
Learning RX has made a big difference in my child’s confidence and ability to persevere when attempting hard tasks and difficult school assignments. They did not just help with her reading abilities but also her attention span, focus, and processing speed. The staff truly care about each of their students and families.
The big thing for us is responsiveness and taking the time to clearly respond. The director was always accessible, and as accommodating as needed. When we needed to make changes, she also took action. I think there were some unforeseen staffing challenges the director has to respond to, and I thought Vincent didn’t really lose too much of a connection when the changes were made.
At home he is now willing to do his homework, where before he would have a tantrum every time. His school grades have made a noticeable improvement. At school his teacher has also noticed large improvements in his classroom behavior. His reading and spelling grades have improved.
Our brain trainer with LearningRx Texarkana was amazing and we had the best results with increased scores in all areas of her education.

This program looks at all aspects of brain work, really focusing on the root functioning, so the improvement will apply to all endeavors. Rich was extremely gifted at explaining the tests and program in a way we could understand.
We could not recommend this program enough. They worked with us virtually as we were out of state. We wouldn’t have been able to do it if they didn’t have that flexibility. It requires a lot of work on the participants’ part, but we have seen our son grow leaps and bounds in his ability to read and enjoyment of it. It’s worth the investment
