LearningRx has made a HUGE difference in my son’s ability to read and write, as well as his math and attention-based skills in general. He and I had already worked very hard for years using Logic of English, and made progress, but it wasn’t enough to keep him at grade level. He’s gone from a 4th-grade level to an 8th-grade level in 9 months… Additionally, he’s been doing his work with his trainer, so he’s been able to make good use of his extra time at home.
The skills Ayden gained have been life altering. She always went above and beyond. Felt that we were in the loop at all times. Communication was great. Ayden connected with her.

I was very pleased with the service I received from LearningRX. My child was substantially delayed when we entered the program. After 150+ lessons my daughter was able to correct her deficiencies and more importantly the skills she learned will help her in the future. In addition, I must mention professionalism of the entire team through frequent check-in meetings/follow-ups about the progress child is making as well as inquiring about anything additional they can do.
After he completed the program the first year, his reading significantly improved along with his word attack. He loves to read and this really helped his confidence. I would highly recommend this program for anyone struggling with reading comprehension and math skills, especially if you tried traditional tutoring. This is not a tutoring program, it is building a foundation on how to process skills in order to perform well in all areas of life including school. Our son and us were fortunate to have found LearningRx to help him with so many important aspects of his everyday life. He eagerly attended 107 brain training sessions that he gave his best effort, energy and determination to get the most out of every minute he was there. Our son has seen so many improvements, I can’t list them all here, but I’ll highlight a few of the most important ones – many around improvements to his safety. His ability to focus, concentrate and speed processing could not be more different than when he started.

LearningRX helped my son tremendously his IQ increased beyond the average..The care that is given to your child from those who have a genuine heart..I highly recommend this program if your child is struggling with ADHD & Dyslexia you will not regret it…It has been a big sacrifice but it’s worth it!!
After going through the program for three months, my child’s attitude toward school has changed dramatically. He used to be a student whom teachers paid little attention to. Last month, he was named Student of the Month. He is so proud of himself.

Our son made some incredible improvements in the areas he was lacking before brain training. I turned 68 and finished my training at RX Learning in Charlottesville a few weeks ago. Michelle, my trainer, made my experience enjoyable, beneficial and relevant. We signed our daughter up for sessions at LearningRx while she was struggling with 7th grade Civics. The trainers were great, forming personal connections with her, which helped her be more open to the curriculum and sessions. LearningRx gave us regular progress updates, and they were very encouraging of her progress.
Our daughter started the ReadRx program in November, mid-pandemic. At the halfway point she was reading at grade level, and reading magazines and chapter books – for fun! Her reading continued to improve…and by the time she finished, we saw huge improvements in her processing speed and ability to recall information. The program is hard work, but worth every bit of effort!
After completing a 20-week program, we’ve seen great improvements in her abilities at school. She is better able to stay focused and deal with distractions, something that had previously been a challenge. Her confidence has soared and this boost in self-assurance has been evident in all areas of her academic and social life. Math, which once felt like a constant struggle, has become much easier for her. She now handles math facts with greater ease and working through her math homework no longer causes the same frustration.
Since starting the program, we have noticed that my son seems more confident in certain areas – in school his self-esteem, his ability to do tasks, and his attention at times seems to be more sustained, and his grades improved.
I continually recommend the program to friends and other homeschool families. The changes in my daughter were incredible across so many skills. My daughter can do math so much easier than she could before. She is also reading easier and faster. Most importantly, her confidence has increased.
My great grandson was having so much difficulty in school with his reading and they had helped him so much before with all his skills, I knew this would be the way to go.

This has been a great experience. I’ve seen improvements within 2-3 weeks in starting and has excelled. I’m glad there’s a center like this to take the time to teach at such a level that kids need!
For two or three years I knew something wasn’t right. The school kept telling me that he was at grade level and that it was okay. But it wasn’t okay, because he would avoid reading. We came [to LearningRx] in September and thy confirmed he had an auditory processing problem. It feels like the pressure is off my shoulders.

I know that Riley still needs work with his attention and focus. However, I have seen improvement in these areas that has helped his schoolwork. I’ve seen that he’s been a bit quicker to solve a problem and remember what he was doing. These are the biggest areas I’ve seen. Another plus has been that he’ll sit and focus for a longer period of time.
Everyone has worked so super great with our son and made sure he had everything he needed to work with. Our son has fine motor skills problems and before going to LearningRx you could not read his writing. After his trainer Ms. Diana worked with him on his writing skills and hand muscles; we could not believe how well his writing improved.
Amazing! The people here actually care, are extremely knowledgeable and have helped my daughter gain the confidence and tools she needs to soar!
