I am the proud parent of five sons and my youngest is a 2009 LearningRx Graduate! I am currently the HR/Safety Manager for Alamco Wood Products in Albert Lea, MN. I have spent more than 20 years in the Human Resources field that includes stints at United Parcel Services, Sears Holdings In-Home Services and Genuine Parts Company.
I grew up in St. Helens, OR and attended college at the University of Montana-Missoula where I earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a duel emphasis in Business Management and Human Resources. I was also fortunate to play basketball for four years for the Grizzlies as well as professionally in Germany, Peru, Australia and Argentina. Upon returning from international basketball my late wife and I opened up a store in the Mall of America called “The Lost Forests” and later “Enchanted Tales”.
I am currently remarried to a wonderful lady who has four children of her own (three daughters and one son). I am also involved with the local Rotary International of Albert Lea in which I am the current Past-President.

I have had a fulfilling career in both legal and medical genres. Upon welcoming twins into our family, I was fortunate to stay home with my children for a number of years. Currently I am employed at Wilson Elementary School as an Educational Assistant and during the summer month I work in the 4-H office. My twins will be heading off to college this fall (2017) and my oldest child will begin her junior year at UWP. I enjoy gardening, sewing, crafting, baking, walking, mountain hiking, softball and learning.
