Brain Training or Reading Tutoring?

While tutoring can help some students, it might not be the best fit for you or your child. Reading tutoring tends to focus on practicing reading and memorizing spelling, which requires strong underlying cognitive skills. If these underlying skills haven’t been developed, a reading tutor might not be the right choice.

LearningRx offers a way to build the underlying skills that are at the root of most reading struggles. Rather than simply repeating content and memorizing words, LearningRx’s brain training gives readers the skills they need to become more intuitive, independent, and confident readers.

My boys are about 3 months into their training and they are both starting to notice improvements. They both notice that it is easier to read and focus/understand what they are reading. One of my boys plays sports and he has even noticed a difference while playing. He has noticed he is able to focus on multiple aspects of the game which is something he has always struggled with.
