Our daughter was really struggling and we were concerned that she may not move to the next grade in school. We have two children who are half way through the program and so far we are pleased with the results. The program trainers worked hard to challenge Deacon in such a way to have optimal growth in reading and comprehension. The center and brain training activities were engaging and kept Deacon in a place of wanting to continue with things that are very hard for him. He was cared for and he could tell he was liked and being championed each time he had a session. Deacon now has more confidence in reading.
We were incredibly happy with the results after the completion of his training. Jeri and Kai were very attentive to our son’s development and continually kept us updated on his progress.

My daughter’s experience with Learning Rx has been a journey in gaining confidence, focus, study and comprehension skills. The trainers she worked with were fantastic at keeping her engaged – it was such positive experience for her! She worked with Kyle over the summer and even though she was working hard, he made it fun and kept her happy to be spending some of her vacation developing long-lasting skills. The skills that my daughter developed while working with Francesca are invaluable. My daughter’s improved reading skills alone are life changing; they will affect nearly every class she attends, and will probably affect her career choice. Her improved attention and listening abilities have reduced her frustration with school subjects, and thus make her more compliant. She doesn’t panic when she can’t immediately decode a word or grasp a concept. She has learned that there are strategies to make these challenges manageable.
My son has dyslexia and was really struggling to read. He not only reads now but reads well and is devouring books! My son also struggles with memory issues among other things, and it’s been so fun to see his memory strengthened and his ability to tell us more things and share more details and even do more things on his own. His confidence absolutely soared after this experience!

After first grade she had continued to fall behind. School work overwhelmed her and was often brought home to be completed along with her assigned homework. It took her hours to do everything even with help and she was frustrated every evening. Then we had her tested at LearningRx. At the beginning of 5th grade. She has completed the Read program. Her dyslexia always made reading difficult for her, although she loved to be read to and had great comprehension skills when she listened to this story.

My child went from being nonverbal to being a little girl who is communicating AND reading! Naomi was a little girl who would cry instead of telling me what was wrong. She had been learning her alphabet but could not recognize a single letter in the alphabet. After training, Naomi now has conversations with others, and she is excelling in school. We love LearningRx!
Working with Dr. Jackson and the staff at LearningRx has helped me understand where my 13-year-old son has struggles. His pretest showed that his auditory processing was around 6 years of age. The post test showed a significant 10-year gain which has resulted in less frustration when given tasks to complete. His visual, logic-reasoning and processing speed increased. The entire LearningRx team and program made a tremendous impact on our daughter’s reading and processing speed. We loved working with all of the trainers and especially appreciated Ms. Gina’s dedication and care for our daughter’s growth and progress.
The reason why I could succeed was that I was on ADHD medication, but the medication made me extremely depressed and enraged all of the time. When I stopped taking it, I was filled with great joy because of my newfound freedom. But something was still wrong. Without the medication, I forgot the first part of the sentence by the end of the second part of the sentence. My imagination never turned off, and despite going to school an hour early and tutoring for an hour after school, I barely passed with Cs. Then I enrolled in LearningRx. Within three months, I was on fire. I could concentrate, handle awkward social situations, find motivation, put my creative ideas in paper. I attacked school with newfound strength. Last year I was the slowest kid in the class, but this year I am one of the fastest and smartest.
I was very pleased that my son was able to pay attention better this first term of school. The staff and director were always friendly and willing to share their experience for other things that could help carry over to school and home.
LearningRX is making a huge difference for our son in so many ways. The beginning of his time in the program happened to coincide with the Covid-19 pandemic. I’d say if looking for a silver lining we had one here for sure. Highly recommend, they take great consideration when pairing learners with trainers and the follow up/check in meetings and overall communication is excellent!
Noah appears to have more patience at home. Prior to classes at LearningRx I felt there were constant “battles” to get homework done, chores at home, and day-to-day requests. If Noah becomes overwhelmed, he is able to communicate that to me in a more positive way.

Our adopted daughter struggled in every socially setting and with impulse control. She made so much progress in this program are watching her thrive every day. We were educated and well informed after our daughter’s testing. We were communicated with well about scheduling, sessions and progress. At completion we were not surprised at the awesome progress our daughter had made, because we saw her growth as it happened.
The performance of the directors was incredibly supportive and very family oriented. Working with both of them to support our child was a privilege and honour. We have noticed that our child is more confident, has an easier time with approaching challenges and is less anxious. Being apart of the LearningRx family has helped her cognitive, social and logical aptitudes.
Shannon and Sofia did a spectacular job of encouraging and training a kid who has already significantly struggled in school and was very reluctant to engage in learning to open up out of her shell. They did an amazing job! To be fair, this is not an inexpensive tutoring service, but there is the potential for great improvement for kids who may have struggled with other academic support programs.
I was one overwhelmed parent after being told my daughter was suspected as having dyslexia by her school, which followed up with “we won’t be able to get her where she needs to be in reading”, essentially. I had seen the LearningRx sign before, so that was my first call. I had a lot of questions! The front desk (Jordan) was so very helpful at giving me as much information as she could before meeting us. We have now finished our brain training plan and are so happy with the results!
LearningRx provided the missing link we would not have been able to get anywhere else, at least to my knowledge. I was a high school English teacher for 13 years, and I know exactly where he would have ended up without LearningRx. It’s impossible to say the impact this program has had on him, but we saw him improve in pretty much all aspects of his life including academics, athletics, and socially.
LearningRx is a great place to train the brain skills of your kids and yourself. The learning skills, the self-esteem and self-confidence building is great. Ms. Loftus and her entire team were absolutely wonderful to work with! After training with them, my son is now thriving at school, able to focus better, and his confidence levels have skyrocketed!
Our daughter started the ReadRx program in November, mid-pandemic. At the halfway point she was reading at grade level, and reading magazines and chapter books – for fun! Her reading continued to improve…and by the time she finished, we saw huge improvements in her processing speed and ability to recall information. The program is hard work, but worth every bit of effort!

My son entered LearningRX as a very challenged reader. He had many of the skills he needed to read, but had a hard time putting those skills together. After working with a trainer at LearningRX for 20-weeks, his skills improved dramatically. His trainer, Will Atkinson, made the hard work of brain training fun for my 10-year old son. LearningRX accomplished what we had hoped it would and it was one of the best academic things we have ever done for our children.
