Michelle Davis
Owner & Director
LRx Certified Master Brain Trainer
IBCCES BOARD CERTIFIED COGNITIVE SPECIALIST
Michelle Hecker Davis is a Board Certified Cognitive Specialist and certified Master Brain Trainer, having received over 150 hours of training in this field before becoming the Director of LearningRx of Chattanooga in 2012, then Owner in 2022. She is from Cleveland, TN and is a graduate of Lee University, obtaining a Bachelor’s of Science in 2007. She serves on the Board for the International Association of Cognitive Training and is a graduate of Leadership Chattanooga, class of 2022.
Michelle is responsible for the dramatic improvements of more than 600 students within the southeast region, and continues to focus her passion toward providing additional opportunities for struggling and/or lifelong learners at the first Board Certified Cognitive Training Center in Tennessee. She works diligently with many community agencies to ensure anyone experiencing life or learning struggles has access the best possible resources to meet their individual needs.
She is married with 2 daughters, ages 8 and 13, and spends her free time loving on houseplants, reading, playing games, traveling with friends, and helping to manage her family’s barndominium in Chickamauga, GA.

Gerri Holstine
Director of Training
LRx Certified Master Brain Trainer
IBCCES BOARD CERTIFIED COGNITIVE SPECIALIST
Gerri is a LearningRx Certified Master Brain Trainer, a Board Certified Cognitive Specialist, and the Director of Training. She has been training students at LearningRx Chattanooga since July 2010. Since that first day, she has worked to help her students make learning faster, easier, and more efficient. Gerri has graduated 80+ students from one or more of the seven different programs. That is more than 8,000 hours training students!
Gerri considers her most important role continuing her own education to stay abreast of the newest ideas regarding cognitive skills and the many diagnoses that our students experience. It is a challenge to stay one step ahead of our trainers & students, but she does it with vigor & grace. Her favorite part of her job is getting to know all of the families enrolled in our center. As the Director of Training, Gerri has certified over 50 trainers and always has her eye out looking for any other interested candidates!
Gerri likes spending time with her husband, two daughters & son-in-law, and three grandsons.

Jordan Hunnicut
Assistant Director
Jordan received her M.A. Middle Grades Science and Math Education from Brenau University in 2021, B.B.A Marketing from Strayer University in 2019. She is a “pawrent” to both cats and dogs with hopes to foster or adopt in the future. Reading, hiking, traveling, poetry, and languages are all her passions.
Jordan started with LearningRx in July 2024. It is her favorite to connect with families and coordinate the magnificent impacts that come to a family with LearningRx by supporting the staff and connecting families to the center to meet whatever their needs are. She frequently assists with community events for LearningRx, including the Summer Reading Bingo Program.

Heather Clift
Program Director
IBCCES BOARD CERTIFIED COGNITIVE SPECIALIST
Heather is an IBCCES Board Certified Cognitive Specialist. Since starting at LearningRx in January 2021, she has graduated over 20 students and have trained over 700 hours. She was introduced to LearningRx when her daughter began brain training at the age of 9. The program immediately fascinated her as she watched her daughter make significant improvements, and knew she wanted to help other people improve their cognitive skills as well!
A mom of four and a former teacher, after graduating from Berry College with a degree in Early Childhood Education, she taught special needs children for 2 years and taught 2nd grade for 4 years. She then left the classroom to be a full-time mom, and over the years, has had the privilege of homeschooling each of her four children for at least one year.
Her family enjoys traveling, camping, and spending time on the water. Her children enjoy playing baseball, golf, basketball, and softball. She loves volunteering with the student ministry at church as a small group leader. Investing in the lives of young people is a passion!

Bobbie Dake
Advanced Cognitive Trainer
Bobbie is an Advanced Certified Cognitive Trainer and an IBCCES Certified Cognitive Coach. She holds a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies from Auburn University. She has homeschooled her two children for more than a decade and served as an Essentials and Foundations Tutor for Classical Conversations in the past.
At LearningRx, Bobbie has worked with over 100 students for more than 1500 hours of one-on-one training experience. Encouraging students in their abilities and watching their skills improve as they progress though the program is what she loves about working at LearningRx.
Bobbie and her husband Phil have two children, Ethan and Callie. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling with her family. She also enjoys completing various types of DIY projects and challenging her kids to games and herself to learn new things!

Branden Stanberry
Advanced Cognitive Trainer
Branden Stanberry is an Advanced Cognitive Trainer and an IBCCES Board Certified Cognitive Specialist. Before relocating to Chattanooga, she was Georgia born and raised. She obtained both her Associate of Science in Sports Management and her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Shorter University. Branden is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Behavior Sciences from Walden University. Prior to coming to LearningRx, she worked as a Behavior Specialist and a middle school girls basketball coach as well as a life coach with transitioning foster children.
The best thing about working at LRx is the challenge that lies within each session. Branden enjoys the thrill of seeing clients meet or beat those challenges. She thinks being a brain trainer is fun and exciting as it challenges both the client and trainer.
When Branden is not at LRx, she works in case management within the criminal justice field, overseeing individuals with the adjudication process. She is the proud mother of a young adult son and daughter. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, shopping and watching sporting events.

Jennifer Garrett
Certified Cognitive Trainer
Jennifer is a Certified Cognitive Trainer and Board-Certified Cognitive Specialist (BCCS) through IBCCES. Jennifer and her husband have been married for over 20 years and have two children, Natalie & Alex. Other members of her family are her dogs- Lucy, and Kelsey. Outside of spending time with her husband and children, she loves to read and spend time outdoors.
Jennifer’s educational background is in Special Education. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Exceptional Education and a Masters in Instructional Leadership. She taught in the public school system for 8 years. She has been homeschooling Natalie and Alex for the past 10 years. She also taught VipKid (ESOL) online for 3 years. Jennifer has a lot of experience involving children, including VBS and helping out in Kid’s church. She loves working with children of all ages and her passion is helping students strengthen their attention, language, and reading skills. Jennifer strongly believes that having strong reading and language skills opens the door to learning in every subject area.

Johnna Brogden
Certified Cognitive Trainer
Johnna is a Certified Cognitive Trainer and IBCCES Board Certified Cognitive Specialist. A native of Decatur, TN, she graduated from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga with a BS in Human Ecology: Child and Family Studies, BS in Human Ecology: PreK-4 Education and a Master of Education: School Counseling. Before joining LearningRx, Johnna taught PreK and served as an elementary school counselor, high school counselor and middle school counselor in schools in Tennessee and Louisiana. She currently homeschools her own children and leads the children’s ministry at her church.
Johnna is married to her high school sweetheart, Toby, who serves as a pastor. They have 3 awesome children, Asher, Adalyn, and Archer in May 2023. Johnna is an introvert in a house full of extroverts. Their family also includes a cat, bearded dragon, ball python, 3 dogs and a family of pet mice. At home with her family and all their pets is her favorite place to be! In her free time, Johnna enjoys reading, traveling, home decorating, antiquing, playing card and board games, getting outside in nature, exploring beautiful East Tennessee and spending time with family and friends.

Kim Charlet
Advanced Cognitive Trainer
Kim is an Advanced Certified Cognitive Skills Trainer at LearningRx Chattanooga. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of New Orleans and worked for 22 years in advertising and marketing in the hospitality and tourism industry in New Orleans, LA; Orlando, FL; Jacksonville, FL and Southern Rhode Island. When her husband’s job brought them to Chattanooga in 2010, Kim left that career, and they started a family by adopting a precious little girl.
Kim always loved volunteering and working with children. She has worked as a 1-on-1 reading mentor, a grief facilitator for kids who lost their parents or significant caregiver, a big sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters, with Girl Scouts, PTA, and her church’s Vacation Bible School.
In addition to their daughter, Katie, the Charlet family includes dogs and a cat, and a first grandchild as of 2025! Kim loves traveling and camping, hiking, reading, cooking, and attending obedience training classes with her dogs.
At LearningRx, Kim enjoys working with diverse types of clients, each with their own strengths and growth opportunities. Working hard to conquer a challenging task and the smile that comes across their face is so rewarding for me.

Larissa Braly
Advanced Cognitive Trainer
Larissa graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Faulkner University where she played volleyball & met her husband of 24 years. After 15 years of programming, she decided to try homeschooling. She is now over 13 years into homeschooling, and will be graduating her son in 2024. She also has a teen daughter. While homeschooling, she has had the privilege to work with children of all ages. She started tutoring and directing their co-op classes when her children were in 1st grade. She loves helping children discover a love for learning.
This is a new journey with LearningRx, and she is so excited to help make learning faster, easier, and more efficient. She was a partner parent for her daughter, who did go through the ThinkRx & MathRx programs. “I believe in the work that is being done here, and I have been a witness to the transformation that happens to our students here at LearningRx”. When she is not working, she is cheering on her children, coaching volleyball, or watching football with the family.

Suzanne Gagliano
Advanced Cognitive Trainer
Suzanne is from Chattanooga, Tennessee and graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a Bachelors of Art in Sociology and Spanish.
Before LearningRx, Suzanne spent five years in northern Japan as an assistant language teacher. She had the incredible opportunity to teach English to elementary and high school students while being immersed in a new culture. This experience deepened her passion for education and helping students unlock their potential.
What she enjoys most about working at LearningRx is seeing students grow in confidence and ability as they strengthen their cognitive skills. Watching learners overcome challenges and achieve breakthroughs is rewarding, and she loves being a part of that journey. I believe learning should be fun.
She is also an ESL tutor, helping non-native English speakers improve their reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. Being an ESL tutor gives her the chance to have interesting conversations with people from different cultures and perspectives. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring nature, traveling to new places, baking delicious treats—especially chocolate, and learning new languages.

Punam Patel
Advanced Cognitive Trainer
Punam is a Certified Cognitive Skills Trainer at LearningRx Chattanooga. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Sacramento State University, which is where she was raised. Along with parental experience, Punam worked for Sylvan where she helped children of all ages and abilities work through math and reading challenges. Some of her favorite things about LearningRx are the positive vibes and loving atmosphere that boost brain training sessions to the next level!
Punam is married and has two wonderful children. She describes her family as a “wild family of four!” They have been residents of Chattanooga since 2005. They are grateful to be a part of such a welcoming and growing community. Her husband’s family have been entrepreneurs for generations! Together, they own several small businesses involving all family members.
Punam believes that growing, learning, and new experiences should never cease. She enjoys reading, family time, hiking, walking, learning new things, and family game nights. One of her favorite books is Nightingale by Kristin Hannah. Some of her family’s favorite board games include Zingo, Qwirkle, and Chess.

Anna Harris
Certified Cognitive Trainer
Anna is a Certified Cognitive Skills Trainer at LearningRx Chattanooga. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Business from Lee University, where her favorite classes were about learning and cognition. She has also volunteered in her church’s kids’ ministry since 2019, where she currently leads a small group of 4th-5th grade girls.
Anna was born and raised in Chattanooga and has a cat named Hazel. One of her younger brothers attended LearningRx, so she’s both witnessed the program in action and seen its benefits firsthand.
When Anna isn’t at LearningRx, she’s probably listening to music or working on a craft. During college, she operated a sewing and embroidery business. Whether it’s sewing, playing the piano, or doing a puzzle- Anna loves to be creative. You can also find her at a new coffee shop or a concert with her friends!

Kaitlyn Stoker
Certified Cognitive Trainer
Kaitlyn earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Lee University. During her time at Lee, she enjoyed being involved in different clubs and organizations on campus.
Kaitlyn was born and raised in Chattanooga, and she has three younger brothers and one younger sister. Two of her brothers have attended LearningRx, giving her the opportunity to see firsthand how the program works and the many benefits it can provide. Seeing their experiences with the program gave her an appreciation for the impact that cognitive skills training can have on students’ confidence and learning.
In her free time, Kaitlyn enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. She also has a passion for dance and has been dancing for 15 years. Dance has been a part of her life since she was 3 years old, and she still enjoys being able to make time for it today. She also enjoys traveling to new places whenever she has the opportunity.

Carrie Chandler
Certified Cognitive Trainer
Carrie Chandler lives on a 100-year-old family farm with her husband & family dog, where she enjoys homeschooling her 3 children & directing an overnight summer camp. She earned a degree in Psychology from Berry College & a Master’s in Environmental Writing from Antioch New England.
Carrie began working with children when working at summer camp during college. She still works at camps & outdoor education centers in Georgia & Virginia, & met her husband through that work. After marrying, they moved back to the family farm, & began to work at the summer camp that his family began as a director, where she gets to hike, cave, raft, & share the gospel.
Carrie has taught various classes in homeschool coops. She especially enjoys when kids get excited about learning something new or acquiring a new skill. She is excited about seeing this happen with her students at LearningRx.
She likes to be outside, hiking, camping, & rock climbing. When not outdoors, she can be found drinking tea, reading, knitting, doing puzzles or playing board games with her family.

Judy Kramer
Certified Cognitive Trainer
Judy Kramer is a Certified Cognitive Trainer in Cleveland, TN and she holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She has a passion for supporting families in providing the best possible education for their children and assisting them in connecting with resources in the community to help them meet their educational goals.
As a homeschool mom for over 25 years, she has served as a leader in a number of homeschool organizations including Bradley County Home Educators and Classical Conversations. She became passionate about the LearningRx program after going through the program with her oldest son fourteen years ago. Since then, she has walked through it with two additional children and a friend. Her passion for the program stems from the success she witnessed in meeting the educational goals of her children. Judy has five children, whom she has homeschooled throughout their schooling years. Three of her five children are high school graduates and she is currently continuing the education of her youngest two who joined their family through the process of adoption. She continues to work as a volunteer nurse with various camps and programs her children are involved in.
When not busy with LearningRx and homeschooling, Judy enjoys being in the great outdoors, gardening, hiking, biking, kayaking and more. During seasons when outdoor activity is limited, she treasures time sewing, reading and organizing her homelife.
