The Excellence in Customer Service Award is bestowed on us by the families we have worked with this past year. We are proud to have achieved a score of 9.7 out of 10 for a family’s likelihood to recommend our services based on their experience with us.
How LearningRx is Different
Most of our families find us via a referral from a friend or professional. They are drawn to us as our approach is very different from what they are offered. We work with students who struggle in areas like reading, attention, executive function or motivation. We also work with those diagnosed with ADHD, dyslexia, ASD, TBI, dysgraphia and other learning disabilities. Families who come to us often share frustrations over recommended options or strategies they have tried. This includes strategies like tutoring, medication, IEPs and accommodations. In the end, these strategies are not addressing the root cause of a child’s learning difficulty, they are treating the symptom and sometimes lowering expectations based on their abilities.
LearningRx Helps Students Change Their Trajectory
At LearningRx, our focus is identifying and addressing the root cause of their learning difficulty through one-on-one cognitive skills training.
This was true for Killian. Killian was diagnosed with ADHD at a young age and struggled every year. By the time he reached high school, his mom thought that college was likely not going to be an option for Killian. In the meantime, they had tried ADHD medication, counseling, coaching, detentions and home strategies to try to help him, but nothing moved the needle – UNTIL LearningRx!

Killian’s training addressed the root cause of his ADHD and executive function struggles and he completely turned around. He finished high school on the honor roll, was accepted and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Architecture and is now enjoying a successful career.
Because they found LearningRx, Killian did not need to settle for a future, he was able to accomplish his aspirations.
Killian’s story is now one of thousands over these 17 years in the Twin Cities.
