When Katrina first came to LearningRx, we had a frustrated, almost angry daughter who was having a difficult time at school and receiving poor grades. Learning RX has had a wonderful effect on my son Roman. After several weeks of fast paced and fun online activity with a tutor, Roman had his first week of school. LearningRx was our saving grace. I searched high and low for services like this and finally found them. My son was struggling so bad in school and was so far behind his peers. He not only lacked the educational ability, but he lacked confidence. For the last year and a half, he went here and they built his confidence beyond what I could ever imagine. I blamed ADHD for a lot of my problems and I came to LearningRX to help my ADHD so I could enact the changes I wanted to see. Mike paired me with a great trainer. Landon and I worked excellently together and were a great fit. Landon was professional, on task, focused, and flexible.

In the second month I started to notice he was talking more, my sister noticed the same and even one teacher told me this boy is different he is talking way more. This program has really helped him believe in himself when it comes to trying something new or doing something he’s scared to do, or that’s just plain hard. His brain can quickly process the situation and engage in what needs to get done. He doesn’t get as frustrated when doing schoolwork. He’s always had issues with fine motor skills like doing buttons. Brain training has helped with that too, and now he’s able to do his own buttons on his clothes. Everyone could benefit from these services and this program.
My 11 year old son has been doing Learning Rx all summer and we have noticed many positive changes. I was one overwhelmed parent after being told my daughter was suspected as having dyslexia by her school, which followed up with “we won’t be able to get her where she needs to be in reading”, essentially. I had seen the LearningRx sign before, so that was my first call. I had a lot of questions! The front desk (Jordan) was so very helpful at giving me as much information as she could before meeting us. We have now finished our brain training plan and are so happy with the results!
We have two children who are half way through the program and so far we are pleased with the results. The trainers have laid the foundation that will allow our children to excel in the second half of their programs. We can see their confidence growing and we look forward to them improving in all academic areas especially reading comprehension.

What stood out the most for me in the program was the staff’s commitment and dedication to student success. I have never seen him so excited to do something related to academics, mostly because his confidence had been broken by test scores that did not reflect his effort. Now, he has the confidence to know he can achieve the results he desires.
My child is happy to sit and read a book and can work through the words much more fluently than he did before LearningRx. He is finally at or a little above grade level. He is willing to try new things and tends to be less frustrated when he gets stuck (improved resiliency) and is willing to work it out to solve the problem.

The changes my husband and I have seen in our daughter are so life changing for her. She is ready for kindergarten and ready for the rest of her life. Our daughter has much better impulse control and ability to adapt to a new challenging situation.
