On the recommendation of a friend, we turned to LearningRx Richmond Hill. Khai and Jeri conducted a thorough assessment and designed a personalized training plan tailored to my daughter’s needs. I am a 56-year-old retired Executive who was diagnosed 2 years ago with aphasia and a rare dementia. I was determined to fight my diseases. I researched for someone to help me exercise my progressing dying communication part of my brain, not to make it better, but to slow down my regression. I have worked with the Director’s and the amazing trainer for a year now, following the LearningRx program and the Booster Program. After the year of pushing my brain, I now have other strategies now and the future, i.e. memory.
The LearningRX program was extremely helpful for my child. We noticed the change come gradually as our child progressed through the program, saw increased confidence and changes in his approach to his studies. Our son has increased his attention for a longer period of time in the classroom and is a more active participant during classroom discussions. Our son shows more willingness to read at home. My son was struggling with his grades and overall understanding of what he was learning at school. We tried a few tutoring programs, but we knew immediately that just a rote learning wouldn’t make long lasting changes and it’s something we can do at home too. After the first assessment at LearningRx, we knew that was what we were looking for. Shortly after we started the program, we saw a big jump in his attitude towards learning. He was motivated, willing to try over and over again and much more acceptant of what he was lacking.
My child enjoyed the sessions with Emily very much. There were times when he was very tired after school, but he insisted on attending the training.
