At LearningRx Eagan, we believe every brain is capable of remarkable change.

Through one-on-one brain training based on the science of neuroplasticity, we target the root cause of learning challenges: cognitive skills. Backed by over 35 years of research and development and 17 peer-reviewed studies published in psychology and medical journals, our clients average a 3.6-year improvement in cognitive skills after just six months of training.

Our local story begins with our owners, Rich and Adele Frieder, who opened the LearningRx Eagan center 16 years ago. They had opened their Savage location initially to help their youngest daughter, Catie, who was diagnosed with ADHD, receptive and expressive language delays and sensory integration disorder. Traditional methods like ADHD medication and IEPs did not work for her. Catie is now a thriving adult who has been excelling since completing her LearningRx training. As they had families in the Eagan, Apple Valley, and Lakeville areas seeking LearningRx training, they opened the Eagan LearningRx location one year later.

LearningRx offers a different kind of learning center — a place where kids and adults can build the core skills they need to become stronger learners and thinkers!

We are not like any other learning center. We offer an upbeat, fun, and encouraging environment where every student receives a personalized training plan, using a mix of fun yet challenging games and activities to boost learning and thinking skills.

Our ‘vibe’ is not the only thing that sets us apart. LearningRx has published research on our programs that show almost unbelievable results. We continue to research so we can progress in strengthening brains to think faster, learn easier, and perform better.

Our brand started with a single learning center opened by our founder, Dr. Ken Gibson. As a child, Dr. Gibson struggled to read. In response, he dedicated his life to helping others with learning difficulties. That commitment led to LearningRx and our revolutionary approach to cognitive training.

Instead of simply teaching facts and concepts, we help kids and adults give their brains a workout, strengthening the core skills that the brain uses for learning and thinking. Our approach is similar to personal training, except we’re strengthening your brain instead of your body!

Our approach can give young children a strong foundation in reading and math. It can also help older students become stronger, more independent learners. It can even help adults improve cognitive performance and target skills like attention span and long-term memory.

Most important of all, we can help students find and address the root cause of learning difficulties. We even design individual learning plans for students with ADHD, dyslexia, autism, and other learning differences.
