Meet the Team at LearningRx Richmond Hill!

Jeri Situ & Khai Woo
Owners & Directors
Hello! We are Jeri and Khai, the Canadian owners and directors of LearningRx Richmond Hill. As local business owners and members of the York Region community, we are passionate about helping children, teens, and adults strengthen the cognitive skills they need to succeed in school, work, and life.
We opened LearningRx Richmond Hill because we saw a need for services that go beyond traditional tutoring by strengthening the underlying cognitive skills involved in learning. While LearningRx is an internationally recognized cognitive training program, our Richmond Hill centre is proudly Canadian-owned and locally operated. Our mission is to provide a supportive, results-driven environment where individuals can build stronger skills, greater confidence, and independence.
Khai brings over a decade of experience as a high school teacher, working with students from diverse backgrounds and learning abilities. Seeing firsthand the challenges families face when traditional approaches fall short fuels his passion for helping students reach their potential through cognitive training.
Jeri holds an MBA and has a professional background in financial services, along with a longstanding passion for working with youth. Her combination of business experience and commitment to personal development allows her to lead the centre with both strategic insight and genuine care for the families we serve.
Outside the centre, Jeri and Khai enjoy exploring local nature trails, staying active outdoors, and playing games that challenge the mind—especially Bananagrams. These interests reflect their shared belief in lifelong learning, curiosity, and the joy of keeping both mind and body active.

Prudence
Brain Trainer
I became part of the LearningRx-Richmond Hill family in 2021. With an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Waterloo, where I majored in Psychology and minored in Biology, I’ve always been fascinated by how we think, grow, and connect. Today, I’m pursuing my Master’s and PhD in Clinical and Counselling Psychology at the University of Toronto, driven by a deep passion for mental health and lifelong learning.
My journey has led me through meaningful work with the York Region District School Board and immersive mental health research at Sunnybrook hospital, giving me the privilege of working alongside individuals from a wide array of ages, cultures, and with different life experiences. These moments remind me every day that learning isn’t just academic – it’s deeply personal. I wholeheartedly believe that strengthening foundational learning skills is the key to unlocking one’s full potential. When learning is joyful and empowering, it fuels our inner drive and helps us fall in love with the process itself.
As a trainer, I take immense pride in celebrating every victory – big or small – with my students. Watching their confidence grow is the most rewarding part of what I do, because I believe that confidence in one self is the gateway to a lifelong love of learning.
When I’m not training, you can find me hanging out with friends, playing badminton, or indulging in cozy evenings filled with movies and TV shows! I’m also an avid traveler- nothing fills my soul quite like discovering nature’s beauty and connecting with people from around the world.
