Brain Training or Tutoring for Autism?

Kids and teens with autism sometimes have trouble with school or with specific subjects. In response, parents often turn to a tutor — or even an autism tutoring service. While this can be helpful for some students, others see little benefit from tutoring.

One reason for this is that autism tutoring is focused on delivering subject matter. Students can spend more time with the material, but tutoring won’t change their underlying learning and thinking skills.

Brain training takes an alternative approach, focusing on the skills that students need for thinking and learning.

In fact, one out of every 22 LearningRx graduates has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) before starting brain training!

Our experience shows how brain training programs have helped kids, teens, and adults on the autism spectrum. Between 2010 and 2022, kids and teens with an ASD diagnosis improved learning and thinking skills by 3.1 years on average after brain training with LearningRx!

My son has dyslexia and was really struggling to read. He not only reads now but reads well and is devouring books! My son also struggles with memory issues among other things, and it’s been so fun to see his memory strengthened and his ability to tell us more things and share more details and even do more things on his own.
