Meet the Team at LearningRx Shoreview!

Julie Keller
Executive Director and Owner
It’s not every day you walk into a brain training center run by a parent and child—but at LearningRx Shoreview, family and purpose go hand in hand. What began as a shared passion for unlocking potential has grown into a thriving, mission-driven collaboration dedicated to helping others strengthen the cognitive skills that fuel learning and life.
Julie Keller, Executive Director and Owner of LearningRx Shoreview, MN, brings a deep and diverse background in education, nonprofit leadership, and strategic consulting to her role. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Olaf College and a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management from the Humphrey Institute at the University of Minnesota.
Over the course of her career, Julie has contributed her expertise to a wide range of organizations, including the Minnesota Department of Education’s Head Start program. She has served as a consultant to nonprofits, government agencies, and community initiatives, supporting their strategic planning, program development, and evaluation efforts. She is also the co-founder of The Mama Ada Foundation, which supports education and small-scale farming in Africa through scholarships and grassroots development.
Julie is thrilled to bring her passion for meaningful, results-driven work to LearningRx. She was drawn to the program’s science-backed approach and its powerful ability to identify and strengthen the core cognitive skills that impact learning. What excites her most is how brain training doesn’t just boost academic performance—it builds confidence and changes lives.
Every day, Julie is inspired by the growth she sees in her students and the stories she hears from families. She believes deeply in the power of unlocking potential and is honored to help individuals of all ages discover just how capable they truly are—with the right tools, the right training, and a little encouragement.

Evan Keller
Operations and Marketing Director
Evan Keller brings energy, dedication, and a collaborative spirit to his work at LearningRx Shoreview, where he proudly co-owns the center alongside his mother, Julie Keller. Together, they’ve furthered a dynamic, family-run brain training center focused on helping students of all ages unlock their full potential through research-based cognitive skills training.
Evan is a graduate of Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin, where he earned his degree in History and served in Student Government. It was during this time that Evan discovered his passion for teamwork and strategic problem-solving—skills he now brings into every aspect of his work. Whether organizing initiatives or working toward shared goals, he thrives in environments where people are united by purpose.
A former competitive swimmer for more than a decade, Evan also developed a strong foundation in perseverance, discipline, and goal setting. He understands what it takes to push through challenges and celebrate progress—lessons that align closely with the LearningRx mission.
Before joining LearningRx, Evan gained professional experience in sales, customer service, and CRM systems implementation. This background sharpened his ability to understand client needs and build systems that support strong, lasting relationships. At LearningRx, Evan ensures that center operations—from scheduling to communication to program delivery—run smoothly and efficiently for every family that walks through the door.
What excites Evan most about LearningRx is the tangible impact the program has on students’ lives. He is passionate about creating a positive, well-organized environment where students can thrive, and where families feel supported every step of the way.

Olivia Stuart
Director of Training
Olivia has a passion for helping others to thrive and grow in every aspect of life. LearningRx Shoreview has given her the opportunity to do just that every single day! She began her journey with LearningRx in 2020 as a Cognitive Skills Trainer intern. Since then, she has grown into increasingly impactful roles—advancing from Lead Trainer to Supervisor, and now Director of Training.
A 2021 graduate of Hamline University, Olivia earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and brings a strong foundation of knowledge and experience to her work. She is passionate about supporting both trainers and clients, using her expertise to personalize and enhance each cognitive training experience, ensuring meaningful progress and lasting results.
Having faced academic challenges herself in school, Olivia is deeply committed to making a difference in the lives of both children and adults through cognitive training. Her personal experience gives her a strong understanding of the impact that learning struggles can have, and she brings empathy into her work—helping others find success and rediscover a love for learning.
One of Olivia’s favorite aspects of working at LearningRx Shoreview is helping individuals strengthen their cognitive skills and witnessing the life-changing impact it can have. She especially values building meaningful relationships with each client and creating lasting connections along the way.
We’re thrilled to have Olivia leading our training team and continuing to make a difference in the lives of our clients!

Robin Surbeck
Director of Student Services & Enrollment
One of the most special things about LearningRx’s training curriculum is that it has been vigorously tested and supported through peer reviewed, published research studies. It is this excellent research that most excites Robin Surbeck about working at LearningRx in Shoreview.
As a 2025 summa cum laude graduate of the University of Minnesota, Robin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, with an Honor’s thesis that investigated the relationships of cognitive skills to symptoms in cases of mental health conditions. It is this passion for research that has led Robin to work in multiple labs across their undergraduate career, and to ultimately do a presentation at an international conference.
While a second-year college student, Robin started cognitive training with LearningRx, and over the course of the past two years, has developed high-level organizational, communication, and administrative skills. Now as the Lead Cognitive Trainer, Robin is a brain trainer to several students, and also supports the wider training team through consultation and training, with the goal to always tailor the very best program for each individual student.
The key to Robin’s dedication to LearningRx is their own academic history. As a child with undiagnosed neurodivergent learning styles, Robin struggled in school until they were able to create their own alternate techniques for learning success. After having had this personal experience, Robin is devoted to helping students, and in so doing, make the world a safer and better place for those with cognition differences.
For all of these reasons and more, Robin seeks to make cognitive training approachable, fun, and empowering for each LearningRx student, and can’t wait to see each and every client blossom to their full potential!

Payton White
Cognitive Trainer
Hi, I’m Payton — a cognitive skills trainer that is passionate about helping people reach their goals by strengthening the mental skills that drive performance, learning, and well-being. My work is grounded in a deep understanding of the psychological and biological processes behind cognition, motivation, and behavior.
I earned my degree in psychology with a minor in neuroscience from The University of Minnesota, graduating summa cum laude, and I continue to stay closely connected to research through my work at the Research on Adolescent Depression Lab at the Masonic Institute for the Developing Brain.
Originally, I am from Canton Michigan, and I bring experience from both management and sports, where I discovered how powerful encouragement, structure, and skills training can be in helping individuals push past their limits and achieve meaningful growth in whatever they would like to accomplish.
I am excited to work with students one-on-one to create a supportive environment that is tailored to each individual’s goals. Outside of training and research, you’ll probably find me exploring new foods, playing the guitar, or cheering on our Minnesota sports teams.

I am always eager to explore the world, and enjoy hammocking, as well as hiking along uncharted trails, and Formula 1 racing. Growing up with Slavic roots, I am trilingual and always excited to learn more about other cultures.
Now, I am honored to work with LearningRx to help brighten the incredible minds here!

Eden Speener
Cognitive Trainer
Hello, I’m Eden! I’m dedicated to sharing the power of applying research and science-based practices to improve cognitive skills and quality of life, because I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the world with their brain functioning at its best.
I’ve had experience working with different communities through volunteering at a homeless shelter in my hometown, and interning as a mental health professional at Catholic Charities. As an undergraduate student at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, I’m working toward a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in French and ensemble music.
Outside of school and work, I write and record music, draw and paint, create clothing designs, write poetry, and sing and play the guitar. I have a passion for learning, but especially for language learning and scientific understanding.
I look forward to working with students and watching them grow!
