Located on Highway 96, LearningRx Shoreview is a brain training center that supports children and adults with a variety of learning challenges. While the learning center has been in Shoreview since 2017, it recently has changed ownership. Eight months ago Julie Keller and her family acquired the business. Continuing the emphasis on quality and personalized care, Julie and her son Evan hope to make a difference in the lives of the Shoreview community.
Before LearningRx, Julie’s family had considered many types of small businesses. Given her background in education, she and her family found the center a great opportunity. With Julie as the Center Director and Evan as the Operations and Marketing Director, LearningRx is committed to bringing excellence, integrity and fun to their clients. For them, the sound of laughter from the training floor is the most rewarding part of their day. They and their staff embody the mission of seeing people who may not have believed in themselves succeed.
As a mother of two sons, Julie knows exactly how difficult it can be to navigate a complex education system. She knows how important it is to understand both what and how their students are learning. With her experience, Julie brings a personal and grounded touch to her work.
The learning center employs a dedicated and talented staff from the local area. Many of their staff members are students and graduates from local universities. They greatly enjoy identifying their clients’ challenges and supporting their learning. They all have a great passion for teaching, kindness, and growth. The LearningRx team loves the work they do and the difference they make in the lives of the community.
LearningRx offers experiences that distinguish themselves from traditional tutoring services. While both offer individualized support, brain training focuses on the cognitive skills of their client. Graduated clients have struggled with a variety of learning issues. Some common ones are ADHD and dyslexia, math and reading struggles, and brain injuries. After graduation, they have seen improvements in their cognitive abilities and in their general quality of life.
With a worldwide name and dedicated local leadership, LearningRx offers something special to the Shoreview community. Julie and her team blend the benefits of recognized programs and the attention and care possible from a locally sourced team.
