Our daughter started high school with little to no academic confidence. Day 1 she felt defeated, lost and unhappy. My husband and I made the right decision when we signed her up for LearningRx! We quickly figured out what was lacking in her learning environment; and we transferred her to a new school. She diligently worked 3 sessions a week with her LearningRx coach all while making time to catch up on new curriculum. To our amazement, her auditory processing accelerated; she picked up a new book to read on her own and often shared with us about her day!

Homework was a nightly battle—three hours of stress, tears, and very little progress. Then we found LearningRx. We went in for the evaluation, and for the first time, we saw a new approach—one that focused on how the brain learns, not just what to learn. That summer, Rosa started the program. At first, it wasn’t easy getting her there, but the team made it fun and engaging. Pretty soon, she was the one reminding me it was time to go. She finished the program, got her picture on the wall, and something just clicked.
LearningRx has made such a difference in the lives of my children. My oldest daughter wanted to give high school a try (she is homeschooled). My son was struggling with his grades and overall understanding of what he was learning at school. Our daughter started LearningRx being unable to read. She could sound out CVC words but was unable to blend the sounds together to say the word. She is now able to sound out many words, blend them together, and even read words without having to sound them out. She is able to read short stories. She used to dislike going to school as she would get frustrated with being unable to do the work. She now enjoys school and has a great attitude about going.
Camila was really having a hard time with the language barrier in Kinder and overall learning. LearningRx Texarkana gave Camila a trainer that spoke both languages and maximized her growth with Brain Training and ReadRx. Camila is more confident now. My son is doing so much better in school, he can focus on what needs to be done. Homework and projects would take HOURS for him to finish. Not anymore. He’s able to use time at school more effectively, which helps reduce the amount of homework he has.
