Our son’s reading ability and comprehension has increased significantly after completing this program. I don’t know of anything else out there like it. It is a very different approach from traditional tutoring and very effective. I highly recommend them.
This program has changed the course of the way this child will learn for a lifetime. This is not a band aid program. It doesn’t just cover underlying problems with your learning capabilities. My daughter (8 yo) has ADHD and auditory processing working against her, and we saw the impact that it was having on her ability to focus, memorize, read and spell. Our 10-year-old son’s life is on a GREAT trajectory thanks to his brain being “re-wired” by the LearningRx program! I am a family nurse practitioner, and I can say their system is unlike any other. We reached out to LearningRX when our son was about to enter the fifth grade. There had been many struggles through traditional public school with reading and keeping up with math facts and focus in general…when we went to LearningRX they helped us understand that it was a processing skill that was needing to be relearned. We have been with LearningRX for several months now and have seen a lot of change in our son with confidence to face new things.
We have had a wonderful experience here. There were measurable improvements, but more than that our son grew in confidence in his abilities.
We have seen a huge improvement in reading fluency and memory. It has helped her with self-confidence. It has been a great experience.
After first grade she had continued to fall behind. School work overwhelmed her and was often brought home to be completed along with her assigned homework. It took her hours to do everything even with help and she was frustrated every evening. Then we had her tested at LearningRx. At the beginning of 5th grade. She has completed the Read program. Her dyslexia always made reading difficult for her, although she loved to be read to and had great comprehension skills when she listened to this story.
The staff is amazing and Nicks progress is proof of how amazing this program is! I’m so proud of him and how much he improved and his confidence. Molly is amazing, and so informative. She always made nick feel comfortable and welcome in this program. She kept me updated all year and I couldn’t ask for better service.
The Learning RX program has been so great for our son. Not only did it build his confidence but it increased his neuro cognitive ability to process things more efficiently. My son has increased his passion for reading and we have seen so much overall improvement.
Baird and the LearningRx team have been very personable, knowledgeable, and professional as we learned more about their program. We are a homeschool family and hope the training here can strengthen our upper elementary child’s cognitive skills. From the moment I contacted Maureen to the last day, communication was clear, prompt, and professional. Our concerns about Omar were addressed, and a clear plan of action was given to us. A huge bonus was that Omar actually looked forward to going to see his teacher Tully and later Katie. On several occasions, I’ve heard Omar telling his friends how LearningRx is the best kind of tutoring he’s had because it’s “actually fun.”
This program has really helped him believe in himself when it comes to trying something new or doing something he’s scared to do, or that’s just plain hard. His brain can quickly process the situation and engage in what needs to get done. He doesn’t get as frustrated when doing schoolwork. He’s always had issues with fine motor skills like doing buttons. Brain training has helped with that too, and now he’s able to do his own buttons on his clothes. Everyone could benefit from these services and this program.
My children trained at Learning Rx and the benefits prompted me to train too. I can remember more things more easily, can instruct/train others more effectively, and multitask better. My child went from staying after school just to keep up to leading the class! Memory, performance, grades, and engagement went up!! Time spent struggling, avoidance, and frustration all went down! Great program! My son completed about 4 months of the program and made such a huge change! I wasn’t for sure until I saw the numbers go up! The program director Mrs Donesa was great and very accommodating! My son’s instructor was also great as well, they align the kids to who suits them best, which is great! I would highly recommend.
Our son’s trainer worked really hard to improve his reading and processing skills. Although his behavior was challenging at times, his trainer persevered. We are grateful for all of the one-on-one attention.
My daughter was really struggling to read. Letter recognition and phonetics were so hard for her to remember. She was also struggling to stay focused for an extended period of time as well. After attending LearningRx for the past few months, we have seen drastic changes. Not only does she now know her letters and sounds. She’s READING! This program has helped her confidence in school. Our daughter started high school with little to no academic confidence. Day 1 she felt defeated, lost and unhappy. My husband and I made the right decision when we signed her up for LearningRx! We quickly figured out what was lacking in her learning environment; and we transferred her to a new school. She diligently worked 3 sessions a week with her LearningRx coach all while making time to catch up on new curriculum. We signed our daughter up for sessions at LearningRx while she was struggling with 7th grade Civics. The trainers were great, forming personal connections with her, which helped her be more open to the curriculum and sessions.
