Working in Education for 18 years, I knew my 9 year old daughter needed something more than a reading tutor. Our son is 8 years old and has struggled since 3 years old to focus. Starting to learn to read and figuring out letters has been very difficult…Mel is motivating to him and continues to push him to his potential. In the first month the change we saw in our son’s focus was jaw dropping!..Within 3 months of beginning the program our son has started to read full homework page assignments and complete them on his own! Mel and this program has completely changed our lives to which we will be eternally grateful.
Our son was struggling in school from the time he started Kindergarten. By 3rd grade our son was so frustrated and in tears over homework that I started to seek more answers…Then I found Learning RX. When we started this program he was on a Kindergarten to first-grade level at the age of eight. After ten months of training you can see the growth and confidence that he now has when completing his work and reading. He has increased his scores by 2 to 3 grade levels. This program has been huge for our son and I would recommend it to any parent that has a child struggling in school.
My daughter’s reading and math ability improved greatly while my daughter was this is program. Trainers are knowledgeable, patient, professional and flexible.

Our son’s short-term memory has improved. He has a longer attention span and is more resilient.
For two or three years I knew something wasn’t right. The school kept telling me that he was at grade level and that it was okay. But it wasn’t okay, because he would avoid reading. We came [to LearningRx] in September and thy confirmed he had an auditory processing problem. It feels like the pressure is off my shoulders.

This program made a huge difference in my son’s cognitive skills! In pre-assessment, he scored well below average in 7 out of 9 skills. By the end of the program, he scored average to well above average in 7 of the 10 skills, while still showing huge growth in the two lower scoring skills. A trajectory changing life decision for our son! This is not your typically learning center that “accepts” your learning disability and tries to “help” you. They change how your brain functions!
Baird and the LearningRx team have been very personable, knowledgeable, and professional as we learned more about their program. We are a homeschool family and hope the training here can strengthen our upper elementary child’s cognitive skills. Our first step was vision therapy … and now hope LearningRx will provide more additional support and believe through hard work our child will improve. I’m a little over four months into the program, and overall everything has been fantastic. Nick has been a wonderful trainer, helping push my mental skills to their limits. I’ve seen improvements to my focus and concentration, and most importantly to me, I’ve felt much more confident In just about every way. Daniel had difficulty learning material and was not getting the support he needed in the school system. After he trained his attention, memory, comprehension and more got better. He still is not at grade level but his ability to learn is improved. The center, director and trainer were always supportive of our needs. They worked very hard to help Daniel and showed a lot of patience.
LearningRx was a wonderful academic support for our daughter. The environment was fun, motivating and productive. We are so grateful for this resource in our community!
As we celebrate her graduation, we can positively share that those nights have been replaced with a love for reading and a strong sense of self-confidence. LearningRx has been the best thing we have decided to do for our kids. We have both of our kids in an individual program, 8-year-old daughter and 11-year-old son. Our son has dyslexia and ADHD. He has struggled in school even with an IEP at school and other touting outside of school. He has had so many achievements this school year. Our daughter was just a little behind grade level. She has caught up and is enjoying school for the first time.
Irene’s support and leadership has been crucial in the progress and success of clients. She has been very responsive of and receptive to parents’ feedback and suggestions and strives to include them in the planning of goals and objectives for purpose of trainings!

This is a wonderful program with excellent trainers who are knowledgeable and supportive in helping each child reach his/her goals. Our daughter has improved in all areas of comprehension, retention and overall self-confidence as a result of completing this program.
My son started LearningRx when he was 16 and my biggest regret in parenting him is that I didn’t find this place sooner! It has completely improved every aspect of his life! From simple things like forgetfulness in daily life tasks, walking into a room and forgetting why you were going in there in the first place. Schoolwork is so much easier as he relearned how to read a different way and learned memory tools and rewired his brain to optimize it.
This program has really helped him believe in himself when it comes to trying something new or doing something he’s scared to do, or that’s just plain hard. His brain can quickly process the situation and engage in what needs to get done. He doesn’t get as frustrated when doing schoolwork. He’s always had issues with fine motor skills like doing buttons. Brain training has helped with that too, and now he’s able to do his own buttons on his clothes. Everyone could benefit from these services and this program.
My daughter’s trainers, Shannon and Lauren, were above and beyond professional, kind, encouraging and very skilled. They topped my expectations!

Our son’s reading ability and comprehension has increased significantly after completing this program. I don’t know of anything else out there like it. It is a very different approach from traditional tutoring and very effective. I highly recommend them.
I recently just finish read rx program. The trainer I work with was Caitlin Mulkern and she was an awesome trainer. She pushed me past my comfort zone to accomplish my goals. going through the process I saw improvements and growth. Kudos to me and Caitlin….

LearningRX helped my son tremendously his IQ increased beyond the average..The care that is given to your child from those who have a genuine heart..I highly recommend this program if your child is struggling with ADHD & Dyslexia you will not regret it…It has been a big sacrifice but it’s worth it!!
Overall, his reading ability improved, and his confidence level has greatly improved! I thought his trainer did an exceptional job with him and he really liked working with her! Overall, I am happy with his growth and look forward to him applying what he learned.

LearningRx was our saving grace. I searched high and low for services like this and finally found them. My son was struggling so bad in school and was so far behind his peers. He not only lacked the educational ability, but he lacked confidence. For the last year and a half, he went here and they built his confidence beyond what I could ever imagine. After suffering an acquired brain injury, I never thought I’d hear my son read. But thanks to the wonderful staff at LearningRx he is now reading and excited to learn.

His trainer was fantastic and they were very flexible with scheduling. He can do math so much faster and easier. He listens and follows directions better and is able to stay on task with fewer reminders.
